CIVIL WORKS

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m and making good surface, work in any type of soil, complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 m wide, exceeding 1.50 m but not exceeding 3 m deep for foundations etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and not exceeding 10 sq m on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming soils in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed

Removal of excavated soil not exceeding 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and disposing of debris outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and disposing of debris outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and disposing of debris outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., and disposing of debris outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground (Posts embedded in congrete) complete all as specified. Note: Excavation will be measured and paid for separately.

Dismantling unservicable sign board of any type/description including frame work on gates, complete all as specified and directed.

Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8) type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC in 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping, benching and similar work incl form work complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with grade ‘C’ solid blocks exceeding 10 cm in width, having minimum compressive strength of 50 Kg / Sqcm as per IS 2185 (Part- I) 2005 and set in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Pre-cast Reinforced Cement Concrete, (1:2:4), type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in cover slabs of manholes, gully traps, drains, etc., set in CM(1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Steel for Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete (Nominal Mix) Type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) Foundation, including rafts, footing, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc; basement slabs, under-reamed piles & mass concrete complete all as specified and direceted.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete (Nominal Mix) Type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Columns, pillars, piers, posts, & struts complete all as specified and direceted.

Brick work with sub class `B’ bricks, built in CM (1:4) straight or curved on plan exc. 6 m mean radius etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 18 to 20 mm thick Granite work (of anyh type), table rubbed and mirror polished), in single piece in steps, jambs, pillars, window-cills, cooking platform and like set in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite, edges made half round, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer of 15 mm thick in CM (1:4), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Formwork to sides of concrete foundation, footings, bases of columns, rafts & rafts beams, sides & soffits (if any) of foundation & plinth beams; & similar work; vertical or to batter complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Formwork to sides of pillars, columns for rough finished surfaces of concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe 410-0 or Fe 310-0 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, fabrication of framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only for rolled mild steel framed work as in grating/grill and similar work of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed

Mild steel TMT bars of 10 mm dia and over as in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, spirally looping for columns, hooking ends & binding with and including mild steel annealed wire of not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified

Mild steel TMT bars of 5 mm dia and over as in stirrups, spacers & binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, spirally looping for columns, hooking ends & binding with and including mild steel annealed wire of not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified

Supply and fabricating framed steel work and fixing as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fabricating for Expanded metal weight not exceeding 4.00 Kg per Sqm, cut to length, bent to shape required & tying with including necessary welding steel frame work complete all as specified and direceted.

Taking out and refixing old serviceable chain link fencing any type in same or new location including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair Chain linnk fencing of MS galvanized wire dia not less than 2mm thick, coated with 1.00mm thick PVC osize of mesh 75mmx75mm and fixing to any type of post, rail with straining bolts including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing barbed wire fencing, supply and fix, new barbed wire fencing, galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, for 75 mm thick Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6), type C1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in pavings / plinth protection laid in panels, and joints filled with bitumen and sand mixed in 1:3 by weight, finishing the surfaces even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour, for 75 mm thick Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in sub-base, pavings, plinth protection, etc., with surfaces of concrete finished rough complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Factory made special shaped precast machine pressed kerb stone using M-25 grade concrete set in CM 1:6 including dismantling of existing kerb stone of any type/description and necessary earthwork complete all as specified.

M&L for 60 mm thick factory made rubberised coloured (laminated) interlocking paver block (using vibro compaction method) (topping thickness not less than 5mm) in white cement and non fadable glossy pigment of approved shade of any shape and size conforming to IS-15658-2006 of M-35 grade over and including 50mm thick dry sand cushion including dismantling old unserviceable interlocking tiles complete all as specified asd as directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of any description and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of water based primer on walls complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old plastered surfaces of any description and applying one coat of cement based paint on walls complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new steel surfaces exceeding 10 cm in width or girth, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old steel surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10 cm width or girth applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new or previously untreated concrete surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying two coats of Synthetic enamel paint over a coat of priming paints plaster coat complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for frame work for sign board made out of hollow Stainless steel tube of grade SS- 304 (Square/rectangular/circular), required bends, elbows, etc., necessary welding and fixing arrangement at required height on existing gates, and complete all as specified and direceted.

M&L for frame work for sign board made out of hollow MS tube of grade E-165 (Square/rectangular/circular) including necessary fixing arrangement at required height including application of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and necessary welding complete all as specified and directed.

S&F One side Retro reflective sign board made out of 5mm thick coloured ACP (aluminium composit panel) sheet with and including writing/pasting of words/figure/numbers/logos of any size/pattern & height with self adhesive reflective transparent prismatic engineering grade tape (Radium tape) of approved make complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. The words/figure/number/logos should be computer aided machine cut. 2. Quoted rates are inclusive of necessary scaffolding and frame work for fixing of board over the gate at required height.
