REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF ROOF TREATMENT IN CERTAIN BLDG AT PCDA JAMMU UNDER GE (AF) JAMMU

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) incl the disposal upto 50m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25 mm thick cement concrete type B0, 1:2:4 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in leveling course complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement plaster 1:6, finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement plaster 1:4 and mixed with WPC , finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- WPC shall be measured & paid separately).

Supply only water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new plaster surfaces of wall, applying wall putty on walls and applying two coat of oil emulsion distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified.

M&L for preparing new plastered surfaces and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of primer all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel tubing and connection 15 mm bore incl cleaning for refixing or removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel tubing and connection 20 mm bore incl cleaning for refixing or removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI tubing 15mm dia medium grade galvanised with all fittings fixed to wall and floor complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI tubing 20 mm dia medium grade galvanised with all fittings fixed to wall and floor complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing old steel tubing and connections in new or old positions (walls, ceiling, floor etc), bore of pipe 15 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing old steel tubing and connections in new or old positions (walls, ceiling, floor etc), bore of pipe 20 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) floor trap, plain with grating including jointing with solvent cement and fixed 75mm dia outlet complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of water tank exceeding 250 Ltrs but not exceeding 500 Ltrs complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) of capacity 500 litres hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-I,including valves high pressure with PVC float and fly nut complete screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrulr and fixed with 15mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of concrete surfaces by scrubbing down with steel brushes and cleaning with water all loose dirt/dust and applying the following Roof Treatment complete all as directed :- (a) Applying 1st course of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384 @ 0.4 Kg/Sqm over the screed bed. (b) Applying 2nd coarse of a coat of blown type bitumen of grade 85/25 heating to a working temperature of 180° C and applied @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm. (c) Applying 3rd course of APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified prefabricated five layer polymeric membrane 3mm thick weight not less than 3.6 Kg/Sqm with 160 Grams/Sqm non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 100 mm end overlap. (d) Applying 4th course of a coat of bonding material with blown type bitumen of grade 85/25 heating to a working temperature of 180° C and applied @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm and blended with fine sand in dry condition @ 0.50Kg/Sqm dusted over the bitumen coat.

(e) Applying a 5th course of Solar Reflective Bituminous Aluminium Paint @ 100 grams/Sqm all as specified and as directed. The membrane shall be laid using butane torch. The membrane shall be first laid upto the parapet wall junction and then shall be overlapped with another membrane (flashing) with an overlap covering upto a distance of 300mm. In case the parapet height is less than 500mm, the membrane shall be terminated at the top of parapet. All rain water pipe openings shall be suitably sealed with APP membrane including disconnection and refixing in same position the existing Water Storage Tanks and all GI Pipes and fittings complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1. Contractor shall be write "Name of Contractor and Date of Laying of Membrane" with paint on the wall after laying of membrane in all respect. 2. The rate includes for filling of cracks in existing roof with cement putty using suitable bonding agent (Shalocrate-42) before laying cement plaster all as directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering with CM (1:4) with using water proofing compound on fair face of wall or on concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with water proofing compound over roof or sunken floor complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for providing two coats of tapecrete, M/S Sika India Pvt Ltd/Pidicrete, M/S Pidicrete /Nitobond M/S Fos Roc chemical mixed in proportional ratio 1:1 one part of chemical, one part of cement slurry, complete including curing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Dismantling of water tank capacity exc 500 ltrs and n. exc 1000 ltrs complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) of capacity 1000 litres hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-I, ,including valves high pressure with PVC float and fly nut complete screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrulr and fixed with 20mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks cap exc 250 but n exc 500 ltr, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing, etc. measured separately)

Disconnecting existing tanks cap exc 500 but n exc 1000 ltr, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing, etc. measured separately)

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc. of cap exc 250 but n. exc 500 ltr complete all as specifed and directed

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II (Schedule of credit) Credit amount of Rs (Refer schedule of credit) for retrieved material mentioned in Sch 'A' Part-II of Tender documents in PDF form will be deducted offline during acceptance of tender of lowest bidder.

Note: (1) The repair has to carried out as and when required basis and accordingly site will be available in piecemeal wise and as directed by Enginer-in-Charge in the PCDA(NC) Jammu.
