Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The tender is of two cover system.

The bidder should have independent PF(Provident fund) registration certificate obtained from PF authorities. Copy of PF registration shall be furnished with the tender. PF exemption declaration may be furnished by the bidder on prescribed format on Rs.100 stamp paper duly notarized.

Aspiring Bidders/Contractors who have not obtained the user ID & Password for participating in e Procurement, may now obtain the same from the website www.kppp.karnataka.gov.in

Section I, II, III, Form of Bid, Self declaration and instruction to bidders are part of the Tender document.

After evaluation of Technical bid and whose offer meet the PQR and technical specification of the tender, bid in complete manner will be accepted and only such bidders Financial bid will be opened.

Prices should be entered in Tender schedule (Financial Bid) in the website itself and Prices will be evaluated based on the rates quoted in Financial bid of the website only.

Bidders are advised to visit the work site at Sharavathy Generating Station Jogfalls before bidding to obtain the hands on information about the quantum of work involved from the concerned division head, thorough view of location of work place, arrangements required to execute the work and safety arrangements for execution of work. Further, post tender correspondences regarding technical specification and scope of work involved will not be entertained and it is the responsibility of the bidders to get any queries cleared before bidding for subject work.

The quantity of materials and work mentioned or indicated in tender may vary depending on the requirement at the time of placing of the work order

Right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason is reserved by the tender inviting authority.

The KPCL estimated rates (Amount put into tender) are exclusive of GST.

The bidder shall quote in Indian Rupees only. The bidder shall quote his rates excluding/exclusive of all the applicable taxes as per the latest GOK/ GOI orders.

KPCL reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any or all the certificates furnished by any or all the tenders from the authorities who have issued the same. If it is found that any of the agency or agencies have furnished false certificates or information, the tenders submitted by them are liable for rejection.

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

The bidder shall be a regular manufacturer/supplier/ authorized agency and shall have proven experience in the field of Supply of laptops to power utilities/reputed organization during last preceding five financial years. In proof of the above, bidder shall upload the copy of Purchase order/ work order copies for single work order value not less than Rs 1.07 lakhs corresponding work done/Supply completion certificate issued from competent authority in e portal ( Weightage of 10% per year will be considered for 5 preceding financial years to bring them to the present price level of financial year in which the tender is invited)

Others -- Work order or purchase order and Supply completion certificate or work done certificate shall be enclosed as per tender PQR.

Financial Status

The bidder should have an average annual turnover of Rs.2.15 Lakhs in any two financial years in the last five preceding financial years. In proof, the bidder shall upload scanned copies of annual turnover certificate/ profit & loss statement duly certified by Chartered Accountant. (Weightage of 10% per year will be given to the financial turnover of previous years to bring them to the turnover level of present financial year).
