EARTHING OF EQUIPMENT & SUPERSTRUCTURES- Excavation of earth, laying of different size G.I. flats, connection of different size G.l. Flats to driving cap of earth electrode, connection of test link to driving cap with required nuts, bolts & fasteners, welding/bolting of different size flats with equipment & structures/earth mat/driving cap of earth electrode, application of two coats of red lead primer & finally one coat of bush green synthetic enamel or anti-corrosive bituminous/black enamel paint over welded portion, back filling of earths as per drawings, specifications & instruction of the Engineer in-charge including supply of all Labours, welding machine, paints, T&P, etc.600mm below ground level as per drawing, welding of M.S. Round rods, application of two coats of red lead primer & finally one coat of bush green synthetic enamel or anti-corrosive bituminous/black enamel paint over welded portion, back filling of earths as per specifications & instruction of the Engineer in-charge including supply of all Labours, welding machine, paints, T&P, etc.As per above specification using MS ROUND ROD as per relevant I.S.As per above specification as per relevant I.S.

PIPE EARHTING -excavation of earth for digging of cylindrical hole of 300mm dia. by auger boring method for driving 40mm dia.,3000mm long, heavy gauge perforated G.I. pipe of TATA make (M) as earth/ground electrode, connecting test link of electrode consisting of 10mm thick M.S. plate of size 200mmx200mm(welded with the pipe) by 75x8mm-160mm long G.I. flat by bolted joint, treatment of the earth pit by surrounding alternate layers of salt & charcoal of 150mm thick each as per drawing(in case of earth electrode & treated pit),back filling of earth, application of two coats of red lead primer & finally one coat of bush green synthetic enamel or anti-corrosive bituminous/black enamel paint over welded portions, construction of inspection pit of size 500mmx500mm inside & 375mm overall depth, concreting of the bottom with nominal mix(1:3:6),construction of vertical walls of 250mm thick 1st class brick work in cement mortar(6:1),construction of removable top cover of 75mm thickness in nominal mix(1:2:4) with nominal reinforcement(0.8%) using 8mm tor steel, plastering of inside & outside surface with 15mm layer(4:1),neat cementing of all plastered surface (in case of earth electrode & treated pit),etc.as per drawings, specifications & instruction of the Engineer in-charge including supply of all Labours, welding machine, paints, bricks, stone chips, sand, cement, T&P, etc. Earth Riser Connection Of Equipment Structures Not in This Scope, Only Connection To Earth Mat included In The Scope
