CERTAIN MISC B/R REPAIR WORK INCLUDING JOINERY, ROOF AND OTHER CONNECTED WORK IN THE SMQ, DSC LINES AND OTHER OTM ACCN AND REPAIRS TO ROOF SHEET, FALSE CEILING AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AF STATION YELAHANKA

Attending day to day complaints to carry out petty repairs related to water supply & plumbing work such as leakage of bib cock / pillar cock / stop cock angle valve, wall mixer, shower rose, health faucet/Jet spray, including removal of air lock/blockage of water in GI tubing of any description changing the washers, clearing of air lock in the pipe, leakage of low level or high level flushing cistern by adjusting the float valve including removal and replacement of rubber washer in PVC siphons, adjusting the float valve of over head tanks, leakage of PVC bends/galvanised iron pipes etc., All T&P such as die set, washers of all size etc including necessary form work and scaffolding upto second floor, safety measures to make functional and leak proof, all petty materials like taflon tape, M-seal, screws, nails, cap etc. are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor on all working days from 0900 hrs to 1700 hours complete all as directed.

Attending and rectify day to day complaints related to joinery work such as repairs to door, windows, cupboard, kitchen shelves, pelmet boxes, curtain rod/bracket, easing of doors windows etc as ordered/required on all working days (Except Sunday & gazette holidays) 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs complete all as specified & directed. Note for Item No. 1 to 2:- (i) Contractor or his supervisor/site Engineer will report daily at 0900 hrs at complaint cell for collection of complaints from the concerned JE in-charge, in case after checking & attending the defects, if it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of JE than after to Engineer in charge by the contractor/ his rep immediately. If Engineer-in-charge is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will be made on this account. However complaints related to sewage line blockage /pipe replacement etc whatever is applicable shall be attended on same day whether it is "Sunday" or "Gazetted Holidays" and nothing extra shall be payable to contractor on this account. (ii) Contractor or his supervisor / site engineer will report daily at 0900 hrs at complaint cell for noting of day to day complaints in complaints register, issue of complaints slip to tradesmen and enter after completion in complaint register as instructed by JE,s. In case of absense of contractor rep for noting complaints, a penalty of Rs 500.00 per day will be deducted from the contractor bill. (iii) The complaint shall be attended & defects shall be rectified within 08 hrs i.e from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs excluding Sunday & gazetted holiday, commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint slip failing which a Penalty @ Rs.500/- Per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon / imposed on the contractor and necessary recovery shall be made from his dues on this account. (iv) The above all aspect shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the respective item. (v) The rates quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost of T&P like plumbing tools, die set, Joinery tools etc complete.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for non skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 & 8 mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tile including screedd bed 15 mm thick in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Virified Ceramic tiles of light shade 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Non - skid Coloured Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to matche including 15 mm thick screedd bed in CM (1:6) complete all as directed and specified.

M&L for Glazed coloued Ceramic tiles of size 450X350X7/200x300x7mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match as in skirting/dado including 10 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 finished all as specified and directed .

M&L for Granite(of any type) tiles 20mm thick machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including cutting and polishingtypes over 20mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and pavings n. ex.c 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) all as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection and paving finishing surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in CM including all quions all as directed.

Taking down cement plaster from walls of any description all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 on brick work or concrete surfaces and surface is to be even & smooth without using extra cement on external wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:6 on brick work or concrete surfaces and surface is to be even & smooth without using extra cement on internal walls complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new surface of wall and applying two coats of distemper (OBD) over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint on walls including priming surfaces with alkali resistant priming paint etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Removing the existing unserviceable tar felt or any type of felt of any description from roof slab or Chajja alongwith screed bed, including cleaning the surface & removing the debris to a distance exc 250m and n.exc 500m, etc complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick (average) in cement mortar 1:4 on roof surfaces mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed. Note:- Water proofing compound Shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant items of sch.

Supply only approved liquid water proofing compound all as specified and directed. Make : conplast x 421 IC of M/s Foroc Chemical (Inida) Ltd or its equivalent of make Dr Fixit/ STP Ltd.

M&L Applying oil bounded bitumen primer @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm, and providing 4mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less then 4.0 Kg/Sqm, reinforced with non woven polyester matt weighing not less then 160 gm/sqm having softening point not less then 150 degree centigrade, having tensile strength of 650 N/5 cm and 350 N/5cm in longitudinal and transverse directions respectively of the reinforcement, trearing strength of 180 N by torch- on application including min 10cm side over lap & 15 cm end laps. Applying a coat of blown grade hot bitumen 90/15 over the membrane @ 1.2 Kg/sqm as per the detailed specifications complete all as specified and directed. Note : The laying/ applying of APP membrane and other connected work shall be carried out by the approved applicator of the manufacturing company of APP membrane.

Dismantling of Asbestos cement corrugated or semicorrugated sheets in roof coverings, all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for all as directed.

S&F rolled mild steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc complete or butt welded tubes conforming to IS-1161-1979 graded St-240 all as specified and directed.

S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 MPs as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws all as specified and directed.
