SPECIAL REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF OH LINE TO HT UG CABLE FROM TOP II TO BRIGADE HQ AT NAMS UNDER GE NAMS

Amount

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 metre depth and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide for poles, stay, cables, pipes etc and getting out including trimming of sides complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl Item No 1.00 here-in-before but depth exceeding 1.5 metre and not exceeding 3 metre.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable in trenches to cover under ground cable complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Punned down thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement.

Supply and fixing / laying of galvanized iron pipe of 100 mm nominal bore, light grade, for cable protection, fixed to pole/ along wall, under floor/road, across the drain or nallaha etc including necessary clamps, bolts, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The cost of MS clamp, nut, bolt, washer and fittings etc shall be inclusive in the quoted unit rate.

Material and labour for XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables ( heavy duty ) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts earthed grade, cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 core laid in duct/trenches/along pole etc, making connection complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) The cost of aluminium thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc shall be inclusive in quoted unit rate. (b) Earth work, sand cushioning and cable cover protection shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (c) Pre dispatch inspection of the full quantity of XLPE cable shall be done by the representative of Accepting Officer at the factory premises. Contractor shall intimate the same to AO/GE at least one month prior to dispatch of XLPE cable.

Supply and laying un reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HVP, type 1, with peak size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid flat in trenches, adjacent/abutting each other, perpendicular to direction of cable complete all as specified.

Supply, jointing and testing end termination jointing kit heat shrinkable outdoor type, suitable for HT 11000 Volts grade, cable size 120 Sqmm 3 core XLPE armoured aIuminium conductor cable complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as for foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-I using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate for pole coping etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and grouting HT / LT cable route indicator of cast iron fitted over angle iron support of size 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm thick, 45 cm long fixed along trench in PCC block (1:3:6), type C1 of size 30 cm x 30 cm x 60 cm including aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Cost of PCC block shall be inclusive in the quoted unit rate.

Material and Labour for drilling hole under the road, hardstanding etc for inserting GI tubing of 100mm size for cable protection with the help of drilling machine using trenchless technology , ultrasound technique without damaging the existing road, hardstanding etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cross arms, fabricated from mild steel structural channel, angle section of any type and size, including insulators, bolts, nuts etc from existing position and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling / taking out old ACSR aluminium conductor / GI earth wire, any size, from poles / over head lines including disconnection complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for mild steel cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate, fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts and washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erection in vertical position, prestressed concrete pole 11.0 metre long, class 9, having cross section 152mmx152mm at top and 152mmx260mm at bottom complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work and concrete in foundation/coping shall be measured and paid separartely under respective items.

All as per Srl Item No 17.00 here-in-before but pole 9.0 metre long, cross section 102mm x 152mm at top and 102mm x 289mm at bottom, class 10.

S&F in replacement HT Jumpers wire from top disc insulator to GOD and disc to disc in any lenth with complete nuts & thimbles all as required at site.

S&F in replacement disc type porcelain white, brown or green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers & one galvanised nut for working pressure 11000 volts grade.all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge

S&F in replacement pin type porcelain white, brown or green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers & one galvanised nut 150mm height,150mm dia for working pressure 11000 volts grade.all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600x600 x6.3mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to GI wire of size 4mm dia as earthing lead by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009, connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. The quoted unit rate shall include the following elements as given below :- (a) Earth electrode as mentioned above. (b) Main earthing lead of 4mm dia GI wire from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 mtrs. (c) Connecting earthing lead and electrode all as specified and testing complete. (d) Adequate quantity of charcoal and salt (e) GI protection pipe of 40 mm dia light grade of length not less than 5.00 mtrs. (f) Necessary excavation, earth work and PCC pit, angle iron 40x40x6mm frame including RCC cover. (g) GI pipe 20mmbore for watering and funnel with wire mesh.

Supply, fixing and testing lightening arrester, expulsion type, complete with all fittings, transmision class, discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for rated system on voltage for 11 KV complete all as specefied and directed.

Material & labour danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick, mild steel sheet, 25 x 20 cm for HT poles, vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones, in signal red colour, fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of suitable size as approved complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of switch Air break, Gang operated with 12 insulator switch Triple pole, mechanicaly operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame, for current rating 400 Amp operating Voltage 11 KV out door, vertical mounted type, complete with locking arrengement, assembly with fuse mount carrier and fuse element of required capacity and isolater suitable for 11 KV including necessary electric connection and 11 KV fuse (drop out type) of capacity 30 Amp, with DO fuses assembly and one No. operating Rod of 25 mm dia bore medium grade GI pipe of suitable length, worked out from ground level and handle complete with lock and two Nos keys incl flat iron clamp 50mm x 6mm MS channel of suitable size & length for fixing GOD including nut, bolt, washers all as specified and directed.

Dismantling / taking out old unservicable PCC Pole any size including disconnection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply,laying & fixing double wall corrugated (DWC) pipes made of high density polythyline (HDPE) with all accessories i.e. all type of joints,Sockets,Elbows,bends and End caps etc.. all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge of sizes size 145mm outer dia and 126mm inner dia for LT UG cables.

Supplying & fixing earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of GI wire size 4 mm, fixed to wall, on batten or recess/chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc including suitable nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed.
