Excavation for foundations & trenches by Manual means in all types of soils, boulders, WBM roads, including rock not requiring blasting including dewatering by manual or mechanical means etc. as per specifications with all contractors own machinery and equipments, crossing of track, shoring, strutting, timbering and buttressing with sand /clay bags and all such measures necessary to retain in position the sides of the foundation pit and including backfilling, rolling the excavated material with watering, ramming, levelling the site and disposing off the surplus/unusable earth to low lying area within railway boundary with lead up to 100 m & all lifts as per directions of Engineer.

Note: - 1. The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures in the vicinity of works. 2. Payment shall be made only for design profile and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 3. The excavation shall be done by any mechanical means to suite site conditions etc. 4. Disposing off the surplus/unusable earth to outside railway boundary with all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer will be paid separately under relevant item. 5. Any excavation within 3.5 m from the centre line of existing track shall be done only traffic block.

Excavation in foundations in boulders including rocks requiring chiselling (blasting is not permitted) by manual and mechanical means including dewatering etc. as per specifications with all contractor's own machinery and equipment, labour, lead & lift, crossing of track, including disposing the rock / stone at suitable nominated locations as per directions of Engineer. Note: - 1. The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures in the vicinity of works. 2. Payment shall be made only for design profile and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 3. The excavation shall be done by any means to suite site conditions for protection of utility services such as cables, pipe lines etc.

Filling contractor's murum/good quality granular material as specified in Railway Specification without stacking directly in plinths and floors, including platforms etc. complete including watering and ramming, all contractors labour, equipments, materials, crossing of tracks, lead & lifts etc. complete. Payment will be made based on cross- section area. Rate is inclusive of royalty to be paid to state government.

Extra for disposing off surplus excavated earth or unusable/unsuitable earth/muck/debris etc. outside Railway Boundary with all contractor's tools, plants, equipments and labours with loading, unloading, transport etc. complete including all lead & lift as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and Fixing temporary barricading to enclose construction area of minimum 2.40 meters high with mild steel angle frame of size 75 x 75 x 8 mm and GI corrugated sheet of 0.5 mm thickness as per the approved drawing and as per specifications, including foundations. The rate includes one coat of red oxide primer before erection, two coats of approved paint & shade (including MRVC logo at every 15-20 metre) as per the specifications, erecting in position, welding / bolting. The rate includes cost of all materials, including fixtures, bolts, painting, labour, transportation, leads, lifts, crossing of tracks, etc., complete. As directed by the engineer. Note: 2. Released materials will be the property of contractor after satisfactory completion of work. Contractor has to remove and clear the site after work is over. 1. Payment schedule: a) 60% payment will be released on installation as per approved drawing. b) 10% of the payment will be made for satisfactory maintenance of barricading after six months including one coat of painting. Additional 10% will be paid after satisfactory maintenance after 12 months including one coat of painting. c) Balance 20% payment will be made on completion of work at site as certified and directed by Engineer-in Charge and on removal & clearing of site.

Providing hand packed rubble soling in foundations, etc. with all contractor's stone, material, labour, tools & plants etc. including all lead & lift, crossing of track, transportation etc complete as per Railway's specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Ready Mixed Concrete of M-20 grade concrete, produced from approved microprocessor controlled automatic batching plant, in levelling course of foundation for bridge with machine crushed graded stone aggregate and sand of approved quality including all lead & lift, dewatering, transporting, placing , compaction, curing of concrete including using all types of form work, shuttering, centering, scaffolding, etc. complete with all contractors labour, cement, material, construction chemicals such as plasticizer, retarder etc, plants & machineries with all lead & lift complete as per technical specifications. (Minimum content of Ordinary Portland Cement shall be 340 Kg and Maximum Water Cement Ratio 0.42).

Providing design mixed Reinforced Cement Concrete produced from approved microprocessor controlled automatic batching plant for RCC work with Maximum aggregate size of 20mm crushed graded stone aggregate and sand of approved quality including all lead & lift, dewatering, weigh batching, mechanical mixing, compaction, curing including using all types of form work, shuttering, centering, scaffolding, providing necessary arrangement for fixing OHE mast & bolts etc. complete with all contractors labour, cement, material, construction chemicals such as plasticizer, retarder etc, plants & machineries with all lead & lift complete as per technical specifications.(Minimum content of Ordinary Portland Cement shall be 425 Kg and Maximum Water Cement Ratio 0.40)

Providing, fabricating and installing permanent casing pipe for bored piles for all diameters with specified thickness of steel plate including all labour, materials, pumping and bailing out water wherever required, complete as per technical specifications as directed by Engineer in charge. This will include the weight of plate only and no cognizance will be given for the fittings, i.e. rivets and welding etc.

Providing and fixing machine moulded factory made Precast cement concrete solid block Grade C (5.0) with block density more than 1800 Kg/cum in substructure and super-structure including platform walling, conforming to IS: 2185 (Pt. I) as per approved drawing including hoisting and setting in position with cement mortar 1:3 including centering, shuttering, curing and finishing with all lead and lift including crossing of tracks with all safety precautions for working close to track with contractors labour, materials, tools and plants etc complete to the specification & finish as directed by engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing Precast cement Siporex block in substructure and super-structure in all floors of approved size for wall and raising of area including hoisting and setting in position with cement mortar 1:3 including centering, shuttering, curing and finishing with all lead and lift with contractors labour, material, tools and plants etc complete to the specification & finish as directed by engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick granite gang saw cut mirror polished premoulded and prepolished) machine cut for booking counters and window sills, facias and similar locations of required size of approved shade, colour and texture ,laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement :3 course sand) with joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc complete at all levels with all contractor’s material, labour, tools and plants with all lead and lifts, transportation etc complete.

Providing and fixing 18-20 mm thick machine cut granite stone slab of approved colour for flooring laid on 20mm thick 1:3 cement sand mortar and jointed with epoxy pigments to match the colour of stones and as per the approved pattern using approved binding agent with all contractor’s material, labour, tools and plants with all lead and lifts, transportation etc complete. Note: Payment for edge moulding, groove cutting and treatment to granite stone such as flaming, leather polish, etc. to make it non slippery with all contractor's labour, tools, plant, consumable etc. complete with all lead and lift is done separately under relevant Item.

Extra for providing edge moulding to 16mm to 20mm thick marble/granite stone counters, vanities etc including machine polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc. complete as per design approved by the Engineer-in- Charge.

Supplying and fixing in position Kota stone slabs 25 mm thick in flooring for stores and depots, etc. of approved quality, good polish including Titanium oxide waxing, etc. laid over 20mm thick base of cement mortar and jointing with cement slurry mixed with pigments to match the shade of tiles with contractor's own labour, materials, all leads & lift etc. complete. The rate also includes provision of rounding edges wherever required.

Providing and laying glossy C. C. interlocking pavers Blocks 60 mm thk (DOVETEX, UNITLE and NITCO) in flooring of approved shade and design laid on sand bed of average 50 mm thk. Sand bedding is to be compacted with mechanical compactor etc. as directed by Engineer. Rates includes contracor's materials, tools and plants, loading and unloading, transport and fuel, labours, taxes, duties, octroi, all laed and lift etc. complete. The block shall be approved by Engineer in charge

Providing and fixing 8 mm thick Stone tile work for wall lining upto 10m height with granite stone of approved colour & special adhesive like araldite or equivalent over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) including pointing in white cement with an admixture of pigment to match the stone shade with all contractor's material, labour, tools and plants with all lead and lifts, transportation ele complete.

Supplying and fixing 12 mm thick Toughened Glass as per approved design including aluminum frame and other fixtures complete. The glass should be "Tuffener" or similar make. Surface may have straight or curved edges.

Providing cast-in-situ vertical bored piles of 600 mm dia in design mix reinforced cement concrete of M-35 Grade with 20 mm graded machine crushed stone aggregate through all types of soils, boulders, soft rock and hard rock including boring, chiseling and socketing in rock with all contractor's labour, material (except reinforcement steel), tools and plants, chemicals, admixtures, all lead and lift, crossing of tracks etc. as per specifications, weigh batching of ingredients, mechanical mixing, placing, providing permanent / temporary liners (payment of permanent liners will be made separately) disposal of excavated materials within railway premises as per direction of Engineer-in- charge, levelling of ground, chipping off pile top to remove laitance concrete above cut-off level including cutting and removing liner above cut-off level etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in charge. (Minimum Cement content 425 kg/Cum and Maximum Water Cement ratio 0.40)

Supplying and fixing in position 40 mm archid ply, assam flush door with 1.5 mm laminated Royal touch or approved quality on both faces, single leaf shutter with solid core block board with teak wood bedding all around & stainless steel fittings such as hinges, tower bolts, handles, stopper, 100 mm mortice latch and lock, stainless steel aldrop of 250mm size of approved quality, CT wood frame of size 100mmx75mm including holdfasts with primer and paint as per Railway's specification, installation complete. The rate includes the costs of all materials, labour, T & P and all lead and lift etc. complete as per specification and direction of Engineer.

Providing and fixing FRP DOORS delux machine moulded of approved quality including frame of size 125x75x4 mm, hardware stainless steel hinges of 4 inches 3 nos. & external steel cylindrical lock push button type necessary hold fast as approved by Engineer-in-charge with all lead and lift etc. complete.0.75mx1.90mx35mm size.

Supplying & fixing powder coated decorative Aluminium rods for curtains of 25 mm diameter with ornamental capping of rods on either ends with decorative powder coated aluminium caps. The rate includes cost of all material, labour, T & P all leads & lift etc. complete as per the specifications and approved drawings. The materials colour & design of curtain rods shall be got approved by Railway Engineer before use on work.

Providing and fixing door closure of Hatim Hardware or any other similar door closer & Fittings series No.H-061-H including necessary fittings & accessories as approved by engineer. The rate includes cost of all materials, labour, T & P and all lead & lift etc. complete.

Supply and fixing aluminum powder coated ventilator for toilets made out of Jindal (series A). Frame size: 600 x 600 made out of section 44.28 x 44.46 x 3 mm thick. Glass: 4 mm frosted glass to be used.

Supply and fixing glazed aluminium-sliding/fixed windows shutters as per approved drawings. Rate includes all labour, materials, lead, lift, fixing etc. complete consisting broadly of following: 1. The frame of sliding window shall be aluminium hollow sections size 100 mm x 40 mm x 2.00 mm thick. 2.Channel for the three track shall be of size 92 mm x 29.5 mm x 1.2 mm thick over the aluminium frame. 3. Sliding shutter shall be of size 50 mm x 20 mm x 1.5 mm thick with 5 mm glass sheet panel plain/etched (50%) with all necessary accessories such as PVC liner.

Providing and fixing PVC pipes for "Soil Waste & Rain Water"(SWR) Pipes and weep holes, Single socketed including making joints air and water tight T shaped rubber rings and rubber lubricant. 110mm dia.

Providing Cement plaster 6 mm thick over masonary walls/ concrete surfaces in all position in single coat in 1:3 mix of cement & sand with Ready Mix Mortar. NOTE:- 1. Ready mix plaster material of approved brand available in market manufactured with well graded & high quality river sand along with approved brand of cement, water soluble additives and fiber shall be used for plaster. 2. Mechanical mixture shall be used for mixing water in ready mix plaster. 3. In exceptional circumstances with prior approval of Engineer in charge, if site mix cement mortar with natural river sand is used for plaster in place of ready mix material. 4. Only natural river sad shall be used for plaster.

Providing Cement plaster 12 mm thick over masonary walls/ concrete surfaces in all position in single coat in 1:4 mix of cement & sand with Ready Mix Mortar.NOTE:-1. Ready mix plaster material of approved brand available in market manufactured with well graded & high quality river sand along with approved brand of cement, water soluble additives and fiber shall be used for plaster.2. Mechanical mixture shall be used for mixing water in ready mix plaster.3. In exceptional circumstances with prior approval of Engineer in charge, if site mix cement mortar with natural river sand is used for plaster in place of ready mix material.4. Only natural river sad shall be used for plaster.

Providing Cement plaster 20 mm thick over masonary walls/ concrete surfaces in all position in two coats in 1:4 mix of cement & sand with Ready Mix Mortar. NOTE:- 1. Ready mix plaster material of approved brand available in market manufactured with well graded & high quality river sand along with approved brand of cement, water soluble additives and fiber shall be used for plaster. 2. Mechanical mixture shall be used for mixing water in ready mix plaster. 3. In exceptional circumstances with prior approval of Engineer in charge, if site mix cement mortar with natural river sand is used for plaster in place of ready mix material, payment will be made at 75% of accepted rate of this item. i.e. rate will be reduced by 25% . 4. Only natural river sad shall be used for plaster.

Finishing exterior surface of walls at all locations with one coat of Birla White Cement as a primer coat and two coats of exterior weather shield (acrylic emulsion paint) of approved brand such as Apex paint- Asian Paint or equivalent of approved color and shade with all contractor’s materials, labour, scaffoldings, T& P, and brushes, water charges etc. complete as per the specifications with all lead and lift, to the satisfaction of the engineer in charge.

Providing and applying plastic emulsion paint in interior of building of approved brand, colour and shade to surfaces in minimum two or more coats, if require to give smooth surface inclusive of scaffolding, preparing to surfaces including priming coat with all lead & lift etc. complete as directed by engineer. The rates includes cost of all materials, labour, T & P, lead, lift etc. complete.

Levelling of walls with plaster of Paris after scrapping the existing surface. Applying plaster of Paris of required consistency in two or three coats to make wall perfectly plumb, in line and with smooth surface as directed by Engineer. Rates includes contractor's materials, tools and plants, loading & unloading, transport and fuel, labours, all lead and lift etc. complete.

Providing and fixing European type W.C. pan, wall mounted with integral trap, Cera make. The rate includes cost of all materials labours, transportation, lead, lift, etc. complete as directed by engineer.

Providing and fixing on previously erected purlins or wall frame work, colour bond (Zincalume/galvalume) sheet of 0.5mm TCT with feed material of 0.45 mm BMT of XRW steel-high tensile with minimum 550 MPA yield strength as per specifications of Tata BlueScope or equivalent make with corrugated or Trafford design approved by Engineer-in-charge for roofing, walling, etc. The Polyester coating shall be 20 micron (DFT) on exposed surface and 5 micron (DFT) on unexposed surface over 5 micron (DFT) of polyester primer on both surfaces on CRCA steel with hot dip coating of 150 gsm mass alloy of 55% Aluminum + 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% silicon (AZ 150) as per ASTM A792M. The sheets shall be fixed with SDST Screws confirming to AS 356 class 3, with EDPM washers. Fixtures used for fixing the sheets shall be as per manufacturer's specification. Rate is inclusive of overlaps, all fixtures like bolts, washers, screws etc. complete as per drawing, with all contractor's material, labours, tools & plants, lead & lifts, crossing of tracks, transportation, machineries, consumables etc. complete as directed by Engineer-In- charge.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound as per IS 2465 in layers a) 1 layer of slurry of cement @0.488kg/m2 mixed with water proofing cement compound @0.253 lit/m2, allowed to air cure for 4 hours.b) 2 layer of slurry of cement @0.242 kg/m³ mixed with water proofing cement @0.126 lit/m2, allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. Rate includes preparation of surface, treatment, sealing of all joints, corners, junction of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry. Rendering/plastering as protective. if required will be paid separately.

Filling bath, W.C depressed area with water proofing brick bat coba conc concrete of M/S India Water proofing Company up to the required level and making the surface suitable to receive floor finish, curing etc. All complete as per drawing and specification of water proofing agencies.

Providing Railing in staircase, Parapets, walkways, gates etc, and all other locations made of stainless steel of SS 316 consisting of tubes of various size and other sections such as, flats, solid, square, circulars bars, box sections as called for etc. arranged in verticals and horizontals with spacing as required and anchored to sides of steps/slab etc, handrail and all other stainless pipes(wall thickness, minimum 2mm) fixed to stainless vertical through SS plates/flats as per approved drawings incl. The hand railing and other members shall be bent to correct profile and shape as required by Engineer-In- Incharge.

Providing, Fabricating, Assembling and erecting in position built up structural steel members from standard structural steel sections procured from primary manufacturer such as SAIL, TISCO, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam LTD, Jindal & Essar confirming to IS 2062-2011 (including latest amendment) including welding with approved quality, bolting in foot over bridges, Elevated decks, skywalks, columns, ramps, stair cases, sheds, track dividers, fencing, Gates etc. and including painting (i.e., surface preparation, one coat of Epoxy zinc phosphate Primer, one Micaceous Iron Oxide intermediate coat, and two coats of Polyurethane Aluminum paint) with all contractor's material, labours, tool, plant , Equipments, labours, consumables etc. complete with all lead and lift as directed by Engineer.

Supply fabrication and Erection of Square Hollow Section/Rectangular Hollow Section & Circular Hollow Section structural steel conforming to IS 4923 and IS 1161 respectively of YST 310 grade of Tata Structura or JSW or similar equivalent and thickness as indicated in drawing including required profile, shape and using structural sections including anchor bolts fabricated/ procured to the required profile and shape as called for, hoisted, installed in position including all cutting, welding, grinding & all operations, necessary templates and zigs, adequate temporary supports, scaffolding, staging, etc. including all tests on material required as per specifications. This item is primarily for roofing and its supporting framework for FOBs, Skywalks and column and roofing of cover over platforms etc. as indicated in approved drawings. Every precaution to be taken against rusting of section. Necessary precaution to be taken during welding to avoid distortions and residual stresses.

Providing and placing in position high yield strength deformed TMT bars of Fe 500D grade procured from primary manufacturer such as SAIL, JINDAL, TISCO or Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. conforming to IS 1786 of all diameters in RCC works. The rates includes supply, loading, unloading, transporting to site, cutting, bending, hooking, placing and fixing in position with contractor’s galvanized binding wire of 18 SWG, cover block of same grade concrete, labour, tools & plants all lead & lift, crossing of tracks etc. as per the approved drawings as directed by the Engineer. Note: 1. The item will be paid only for quantities used actually excluding overlaps other than designed and as indicated in technical specifications. 2. The wastage, cut pieces shall be taken away by the contractor and the same will not be paid.

Conducting High strain Dynamic testing as per ASTM D4945-89 (Code of American Society for Testing and Material ) on cast-in-situ RCC pile of 1200 mm diameter inclusive of analysis including all contractor's equipment, manpower, site preparation, build-up of pile head, lead and lifts etc complete as per standard procedure, and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note:- Rate is inclusive of 1) All equipment such as hammer, crane, steel plate, plywood, fuel, power, water etc. 2) All labour and consumable required 3) Mobilisation of equipment, staff etc. 4) Preparation and submission of Reports in 3 copies. 5) Site preparation 6) Extra length of pile head to be cast for dynamic testing and also dismantling of the same after test.

Demolishing all type of brickwork, stone work, cement concrete including requiring use of chisels/mechanical drills/pavement breakers/rock splitters etc. for demolishing at all locations with all contractor’s labours, tools & plants, scaffolding etc. complete with all lead and lift for disposing demolished material with in Railway area. The usable demolished material will be used in filling as required. The surplus material will have to be disposed outside Railway premises for which payment will be made in the relevant item (Weight assesment for payment will be as per specifications).

Demolishing RCC work including cutting and stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50m lead. (Extra payment for scraping, cleaning and straightening of bars to be made separately)

Dismantling steel work, upto a height of 10 m with all contractor’s labours, tools & plants, machines, scaffolding etc. complete with all lead and lift. The contractor will take all safety precaution and remove the material immediately.The released material will be taken away by contractor as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Credit for taking away of dismanteled steel will done in item no. 79 below.Note:Payment will be made based on standard weight of structural steel sections used in dismantled structure after 20% reduction for loss of section due to corrosion.No actual weighment will be done for dismantled steel.

Providing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring all provisions of the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manual of MRVC during the entire contract period, including deployment of a dedicated SHE organization with prescribed qualifications and adequate support staff, and carrying out all activities required for full compliance with the SHE Manual during execution of works, complete. The scope under this item shall include, but not be limited to, the following: i) Deployment of a separate and exclusive SHE organization as stipulated in the SHE Manual, with qualified personnel and supporting staff. ii) Conducting safety induction, refresher training and toolbox talks for all workmen and staff engaged on the work. iii) Arranging periodic medical and health check-ups of labour and staff. iv) Organizing SHE meetings, inspections, audits and preparation of compliance reports. v) SHE communication through posters, signages, banners, audio/video displays and safety campaigns. vi) Maintenance of housekeeping standards at all work sites. vii) Provision, use and enforcement of personal protective equipment (PPE). viii) Implementation of labour welfare measures as per statutory requirements and SHE Manual. ix) Environmental management measures including dust control, waste management, pollution prevention, etc. x) Traffic management and control of vehicles engaged in construction activities. xi) Any other measure necessary for compliance with the SHE Manual of MRVC.

Conditions of Payment and Compliance a) Payment under this item shall be made proportionately with each interim payment, based on the value of work executed and billed. b) Payment shall be released at the rate of 1% of the total executed value of Item Nos. 1 to 92 of Schedule ‘A’, modified by the percentage rate accepted/quoted by the contractor for this schedule. c) Payment shall be subject to recovery of penalties imposed for non-compliance or violation of provisions of the SHE Manual, as stipulated in Part V of the SHE Manual. d) During periods of non-progress of work, no payment shall be admissible under this item. e) Payment for Ambient Air Quality Monitoring, Noise Level Monitoring, Drinking Water Analysis, Soil Analysis, etc., shall not be included under this item and shall be paid separately under the relevant schedule items. f) Persistent failure or repeated violations of SHE Manual provisions shall render the contractor liable for action, including termination of contract, as per contract conditions. Illustration: If the value of work executed and billed under Item Nos. 1 to 92 of Schedule ‘A’ in an interim payment is ₹1,00,00,000, the payment admissible under this item shall be ₹1,00,000, modified by the accepted percentage rate of the contractor.

Extra for disposing off surplus excavated earth or unusable/unsuitable earth/muck/debris etc. outside Railway Boundary with all contractor's tools, plants, equipments and labours with loading, unloading, transport etc. complete including all lead & lift as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and Fixing temporary barricading to enclose construction area of minimum 2.40 meters high with mild steel angle frame of size 75 x 75 x 8 mm and GI corrugated sheet of 0.5 mm thickness as per the approved drawing and as per specifications, including foundations. The rate includes one coat of red oxide primer before erection, two coats of approved paint & shade (including MRVC logo at every 15-20 metre) as per the specifications, erecting in position, welding / bolting. The materials colour & design of curtain rods shall be got approved by Railway Engineer before use on work.

Providing and fixing door closure of Hatim Hardware or any other similar door closer & Fittings series No.H-061-H including necessary fittings & accessories as approved by engineer. The rate includes cost of all materials, labour, T & P and all lead & lift etc. complete.

Supply and fixing aluminum powder coated ventilator for toilets made out of Jindal (series A). Frame size: 600 x 600 made out of section 44.28 x 44.46 x 3 mm thick. Glass: 4 mm frosted glass to be used.

Levelling of walls with plaster of Paris after scrapping the existing surface. Providing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring all provisions of the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manual of MRVC during the entire contract period, including deployment of a dedicated SHE organization with prescribed qualifications and adequate support staff, and carrying out all activities required for full compliance with the SHE Manual during execution of works, complete. The scope under this item shall include, but not be limited to, the following: i) Deployment of a separate and exclusive SHE organization as stipulated in the SHE Manual, with qualified personnel and supporting staff. ii) Conducting safety induction, refresher training and toolbox talks for all workmen and staff engaged on the work. iii) Arranging periodic medical and health check-ups of labour and staff. iv) Organizing SHE meetings, inspections, audits and preparation of compliance reports. v) SHE communication through posters, signages, banners, audio/video displays and safety campaigns. vi) Maintenance of housekeeping standards at all work sites. vii) Provision, use and enforcement of personal protective equipment (PPE). viii) Implementation of labour welfare measures as per statutory requirements and SHE Manual. ix) Environmental management measures including dust control, waste management, pollution prevention, etc. x) Traffic management and control of vehicles engaged in construction activities. xi) Any other measure necessary for compliance with the SHE Manual of MRVC.

Conditions of Payment and Compliance a) Payment under this item shall be made proportionately with each interim payment, based on the value of work executed and billed. b) Payment shall be released at the rate of 1% of the total executed value of Item Nos. 1 to 92 of Schedule ‘A’, modified by the percentage rate accepted/quoted by the contractor for this schedule. c) Payment shall be subject to recovery of penalties imposed for non-compliance or violation of provisions of the SHE Manual, as stipulated in Part V of the SHE Manual. d) During periods of non-progress of work, no payment shall be admissible under this item. e) Payment for Ambient Air Quality Monitoring, Noise Level Monitoring, Drinking Water Analysis, Soil Analysis, etc., shall not be included under this item and shall be paid separately under the relevant schedule items. f) Persistent failure or repeated violations of SHE Manual provisions shall render the contractor liable for action, including termination of contract, as per contract conditions. Illustration: If the value of work executed and billed under Item Nos. 1 to 92 of Schedule ‘A’ in an interim payment is ₹1,00,00,000, the payment admissible under this item shall be ₹1,00,000, modified by the accepted percentage rate of the contractor.

The sheets shall be fixed with SDST Screws confirming to AS 356 class 3, with EDPM washers. Fixtures used for fixing the sheets shall be as per manufacturer's specification. Rate is inclusive of overlaps, all fixtures like bolts, washers, screws etc. complete as per drawing, with all contractor's material, labours, tools & plants, lead & lifts, crossing of tracks, transportation, machineries, consumables etc. complete as directed by Engineer-In- charge.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound as per IS 2465 in layers a) 1 layer of slurry of cement @0.488kg/m2 mixed with water proofing cement compound @0.253 lit/m2, allowed to air cure for 4 hours.b) 2 layer of slurry of cement @0.242 kg/m³ mixed with water proofing cement @0.126 lit/m2, allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. Rate includes preparation of surface, treatment, sealing of all joints, corners, junction of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry. Rendering/plastering as protective. if required will be paid separately.

Supply fabrication and Erection of Square Hollow Section/Rectangular Hollow Section & Circular Hollow Section structural steel conforming to IS 4923 and IS 1161 respectively of YST 310 grade of Tata Structura or JSW or similar equivalent and thickness as indicated in drawing including required profile, shape and using structural sections including anchor bolts fabricated/ procured to the required profile and shape as called for, hoisted, installed in position including all cutting, welding, grinding & all operations, necessary templates and zigs, adequate temporary supports, scaffolding, staging, etc. including all tests on material required as per specifications. This item is primarily for roofing and its supporting framework for FOBs, Skywalks and column and roofing of cover over platforms etc. as indicated in approved drawings. Every precaution to be taken against rusting of section. Necessary precaution to be taken during welding to avoid distortions and residual stresses.

Providing and placing in position high yield strength deformed TMT bars of Fe 500D grade procured from primary manufacturer such as SAIL, JINDAL, TISCO or Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. conforming to IS 1786 of all diameters in RCC works. The rates includes supply, loading, unloading, transporting to site, cutting, bending, hooking, placing and fixing in position with contractor’s galvanized binding wire of 18 SWG, cover block of same grade concrete, labour, tools & plants all lead & lift, crossing of tracks etc. as per the approved drawings as directed by the Engineer. Note: 1. The item will be paid only for quantities used actually excluding overlaps other than designed and as indicated in technical specifications. 2. The wastage, cut pieces shall be taken away by the contractor and the same will not be paid.

Conducting High strain Dynamic testing as per ASTM D4945-89 (Code of American Society for Testing and Material ) on cast-in-situ RCC pile of 1200 mm diameter inclusive of analysis including all contractor's equipment, manpower, site preparation, build-up of pile head, lead and lifts etc complete as per standard procedure, and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note:- Rate is inclusive of 1) All equipment such as hammer, crane, steel plate, plywood, fuel, power, water etc. 2) All labour and consumable required 3) Mobilisation of equipment, staff etc. 4) Preparation and submission of Reports in 3 copies. 5) Site preparation 6) Extra length of pile head to be cast for dynamic testing and also dismantling of the same after test.

Conducting low strain pile integrity test on RCC bored piles of any dia., using standard equipment confirming to ASTM- D5882. The rate includes submission of reports in 4 copies including one soft copy.

Demolishing all type of brickwork, stone work, cement concrete including requiring use of chisels/mechanical drills/pavement breakers/rock splitters etc. for demolishing at all locations with all contractor’s labours, tools & plants, scaffolding etc. complete with all lead and lift for disposing demolished material with in Railway area. The usable demolished material will be used in filling as required. The surplus material will have to be disposed outside Railway premises for which payment will be made in the relevant item (Weight assesment for payment will be as per specifications).

Demolishing RCC work including cutting and stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50m lead. (Extra payment for scraping, cleaning and straightening of bars to be made separately)

Dismantling steel work, upto a height of 10 m with all contractor’s labours, tools & plants, machines, scaffolding etc. complete with all lead and lift. The contractor will take all safety precaution and remove the material immediately.The released material will be taken away by contractor as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note-(I) Maximum 2000 Km Per Month ( all seven day of all weeks) with 24 hours availability. (II) The rates includes petrol/diesel, vehicle maintenance, overtime allowance as applicable.

Providing Environmental Monitoring services from NABL Accredited and recognized by Ministry of Environment & Forest (MoEF) Laboratories with all contractor’s equipment, consultant, technical staff, and labours on location decided by MRVC for monitoring following parameters. Providing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring all provisions of the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manual of MRVC during the entire contract period, including deployment of a dedicated SHE organization with prescribed qualifications and adequate support staff, and carrying out all activities required for full compliance with the SHE Manual during execution of works, complete. The scope under this item shall include, but not be limited to, the following: i) Deployment of a separate and exclusive SHE organization as stipulated in the SHE Manual, with qualified personnel and supporting staff. ii) Conducting safety induction, refresher training and toolbox talks for all workmen and staff engaged on the work. iii) Arranging periodic medical and health check-ups of labour and staff. iv) Organizing SHE meetings, inspections, audits and preparation of compliance reports. v) SHE communication through posters, signages, banners, audio/video displays and safety campaigns. vi) Maintenance of housekeeping standards at all work sites. vii) Provision, use and enforcement of personal protective equipment (PPE). viii) Implementation of labour welfare measures as per statutory requirements and SHE Manual. ix) Environmental management measures including dust control, waste management, pollution prevention, etc. x) Traffic management and control of vehicles engaged in construction activities. xi) Any other measure necessary for compliance with the SHE Manual of MRVC.

Conditions of Payment and Compliance a) Payment under this item shall be made proportionately with each interim payment, based on the value of work executed and billed. b) Payment shall be released at the rate of 1% of the total executed value of Item Nos. 1 to 92 of Schedule ‘A’, modified by the percentage rate accepted/quoted by the contractor for this schedule. c) Payment shall be subject to recovery of penalties imposed for non-compliance or violation of provisions of the SHE Manual, as stipulated in Part V of the SHE Manual. d) During periods of non-progress of work, no payment shall be admissible under this item. e) Payment for Ambient Air Quality Monitoring, Noise Level Monitoring, Drinking Water Analysis, Soil Analysis, etc., shall not be included under this item and shall be paid separately under the relevant schedule items. f) Persistent failure or repeated violations of SHE Manual provisions shall render the contractor liable for action, including termination of contract, as per contract conditions. Illustration: If the value of work executed and billed under Item Nos. 1 to 92 of Schedule ‘A’ in an interim payment is ₹1,00,00,000, the payment admissible under this item shall be ₹1,00,000, modified by the accepted percentage rate of the contractor.

Extra for disposing off surplus excavated earth or unusable/unsuitable earth/muck/debris etc. outside Railway Boundary with all contractor's tools, plants, equipments and labours with loading, unloading, transport etc. complete including all lead & lift as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and Fixing temporary barricading to enclose construction area of minimum 2.40 meters high with mild steel angle frame of size 75 x 75 x 8 mm and GI corrugated sheet of 0.5 mm thickness as per the approved drawing and as per specifications, including foundations. The rate includes one coat of red oxide primer before erection, two coats of approved paint & shade (including MRVC logo at every 15-20 metre) as per the specifications, erecting in position, welding / bolting. The rate includes cost of all materials, including fixtures, bolts, painting, labour, transportation, leads, lifts, crossing of tracks, etc., complete. As directed by the engineer. Note: 2. Released materials will be the property of contractor after satisfactory completion of work. Contractor has to remove and clear the site after work is over. 1. Providing and laying glossy C. C. interlocking pavers Blocks 60 mm thk (DOVETEX, UNITLE and NITCO) in flooring of approved shade and design laid on sand bed of average 50 mm thk. Sand bedding is to be compacted with mechanical compactor etc. as directed by Engineer. Rates includes contracor's materials, tools and plants, loading and unloading, transport and fuel, labours, taxes, duties, octroi, all laed and lift etc. complete. The block shall be approved by Engineer in charge

The materials colour & design of curtain rods shall be got approved by Railway Engineer before use on work.
