"Manufacturing, supplying and fixing fly-proof mesh double-leaf window shutters complete with all fittings, fastenings and accessories, and fixing the same in position to the existing wooden/aluminium framed windows. The shutters shall be fabricated from powder-coated aluminium sleek window sections (Model No. X412 or approved equivalent) and fitted with removable and washable SS 304 grade stainless steel insect-proof mesh, securely fixed with EPDM rubber spline. The shutters shall be provided with 90° corner joints, stoppers, centre clips, hinges and all necessary fixing accessories, complete with all incidental works, lead, lift, labour and materials, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Specifications: Frame: Powder-coated aluminium sleek window section, Model No. X412 or approved equivalent, of size 20.4 x 10 x 1.2 mm, having an approximate weight of 580 g per 12 ft length. Mesh: SS 304 grade stainless steel insect-proof mesh having 16 x 16 apertures per square inch. Hinges: 2 Nos. per shutter, made of polypropylene copolymer, size 9.8 x 7.5 x 7.8 mm, with needle of 3 mm diameter x 11.3 mm length. Corner Pieces: 4 Nos. per shutter, made of powder-coated nylon, size 54.5 x 15.3 x 7.4 mm. Stoppers: 3 Nos. per shutter, made of polypropylene copolymer, size 24.3 x 16 x 16.5 mm. The work shall include all labour, materials, tools and tackles, lead, lift and incidental works required for satisfactory completion of the work, complete in all respects and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The item rate shall include the cost of supplying the fibreglass mesh, adhesive materials, stitching, fixing accessories, transportation, handling, labour, lead, lift and all incidental charges necessary for complete installation. Measurement: Payment shall be made based on the actual area of fibreglass mesh fixed in position, measured in square metres." Above/

The work shall include careful dismantling of the existing fly-proof mesh shutter, rectification of defects, replacement of damaged EPDM rubber spline 5 and minor accessories wherever required, re-fixing of the mesh and shutter assembly in proper alignment, and all labour, materials, tools and tackles, lead, lift and incidental works necessary for satisfactory completion of the work, complete in all respects and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.
