Part A

Fabrication and Supply of 36 meter high G.I Trestle tower( Hot dipped Galvanized as per IS 2629 Specifications and minimum 120 microns galvanizing) with all members, accessories, G.I nuts & bolts, foundation bolts, washers etc. including supply of template, all materials as per approved drawings/specifications or as directed, tools & plants, transportation charges, loading & unloading, testing charges, cost of supply of all tower complete from approved manufacturers/ supplier etc. complete as directed by Engineer in charge. Including Conveyance/ transportation charges of one number 36 meter G.I trestle Tower from the factory/ manufacturing unit to Deep Bhavan premises at Port blair. The tower shall have the provision for fixing of earth tape (25 mm x 3mm copper stripe). Drawing of the trestle tower will be supplied by the Department.

a) Trestle Tower Materials Confirming to 120 Microns (Including Template) Hot dipped Galvanized as per IS 2629 Specifications and minimum 120 microns galvanizing

b) Assorted Size of G.I. Full Threaded Bolts & nuts, Washers

c) Supply of 36m high Lighthouse Tower Template

Transportation of 36 M G.I trestle tower materials and its other components from Port Blair to work site by Department vessel, dinghi and manual labour including the cost of dinghi, labours unloading and loading, stacking at site safety without damaging and all other charges etc completes as directed.(departantal ship required from Port Blair Jetty to site anchorage point)

Part B

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood,trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared. .

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Ordinary Rock

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m all complete.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete as directed by the engineer in charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) ) in Foundation and plinth including laying, compacting, curing with materials, tools, labours etc. complete as directed by the engineer in charge.

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-40 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Plinth beams

Providing Steel reinforcement (Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars) of Fe 500 grade for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level including supply of all labours, tools, materials, etc. complete as directed by the engineer in charge.

Setting up template in position, mounting, fixing anchor foundation bolts in position, leveling, checking diagonals etc. complete requried for erection to tower as directed including cost of all labours, tools & plants and all other charges etc complete as directed (Template and Anchor bolt shall be supplied by department.)

Erection of 36 M high G.I Trestle Tower as per drawing safety with all accessories/ components bracing, platform, hand rails etc. tightering bolts and nuts, punching etc for proper holes etc(if required) completely including cost of all labours, tools & plants, equipments, ropes, pulleys, safety belts, scafolding, all other items requires for erection and all other charges etc. as directed.

Painting two or more coats with synthetic enamel paint to 36 M high Trestle Tower and its other components/ accessories & foundation with approved 1st quality, brand, make of ASIAN/ICI DULUX/BERGER Brands in red and white alternate band over one or more coat of approved 1st quality, brand zinc chromate primer after cleaning and preparing the surface at all heights to make an even shade including cost of all materials , labours, tools & plants and all charges etc. complete as directed.

Collection and storing of portable water at site for execution of the work and day to day use for working persons camping at site either from nearest avaible source of dept. vessel including transportation, labour, hire charges of mechanised dinghi etc. complete.

Purchase PVC tank of capacity 1000 Ltr

Engaging khalasi to assisting dept the site engineer-in-charge in day to day supervision work as directed including cost of all other charges etc complete as per drawing/ sepcification and as directed.

Hiring of mechanized dinghy boat for conveyance of supervisory staff from ship to shore and vice-versa including the cost of all materials, labours,tools & plants machinary etc complete.

Providing temporary tents/shed of good quality with raised base for platform for supervisory staff, with tarpaulines, jungles ballies, plants, nylone ropes GI/ aluminium sheets including supply of all materials, cleaning & levelling of ground, necessary earth work all labours, tools plants etc complete.

Providing camping materials for supervisory staff & officer for supervisorion during erection of construction works including at site for supervisor staff.

Dismantling of existing trestle tower including dismembering of all members such as angles, tees, flats, channels, gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc., and stacking within 50 metres lead including cost of all labours, tools & plants etc. complete as directed by the engineer in charge.

Recovery of salvage value/scrap value of recovered steel material at the time of dismantling of Steel structure including cost of transport from the site but excluding the cost of dismalting, labours, tools materials etc. complete.
