ROUTINE GRASS CUTTING FOR THE ADJACENT AREA OF RUNWAY, PTT AND ADJOINING AREA AT TECH AREA AND REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF VARIOUS OLD/UNSV SIGN BOARDS FOR AVIATION NEEDS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AF STN HASIMARA UNDER GE (AF) HASIMARA.

Note 1:- (Applicable for all parts/items) : The biidders/contractors are advised to read tender documents & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Supply, fabricating, installation, testing and commissioning of back-lit signage including embedding the signage baord firmly with the wall/ MS Angle frame/as per approved Art work and nomenclature as given below:- Box with frame- 25 x 25 mm square pipe (18 G) frame with cross supports @ spacing not exceeding 1.0 m on the box length including 20 mm x 20 mm MS Square pipe (18 G) stifferenrs duly white enamel painted in 2 coats over a coat of zinc oxide iron primer, depth of box should not be less than 165 mm, Side, Top, Back and bottom Panels- Made out of 24 gauge chemically treated GI Sheets duly precoated / powder coated with white MATT finish coating on both inner and outer surface. Top panel to have 24 guage precoated drip cap (fixed with pop rivet or machine moulded to shape) of 25 mm on front and side to prevent damages due to rain etc. The bottom panel should be provided with access door fixed with ss screws and suitable housing for LED drivers. LED Module- LED 12V Module beam angle >=150 degrees with IP rating >= 64, 0.72 W/70 Lumens per module of 3 LEDs with 7000 to 8000 K colour temperature, Make: Tridonic / Osram / Cree / GE LED configuration- 29 LED Modules per Sq mt (Equal division on spacing based on height of box) and one module every 0.20 m on running length of box. LED power supply- Input 230 V AC, power supply should be CPCC (Constant power constant current) of 30W/60W/120 W each. Graphics- Graphics shall be computer plotter cut with translucent cast vinyl matching the colour specification of the installation

S&L XLPE Insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 4 sq. mm 4 core complete all as specified and directed.

S&L double walled corrugated (DWC) HDPE duct pipe of 40mm dia conforming to IS, approved colour complete with fittings for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

S&F posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation of pole / stay, or cable trenches and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in incl spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting pointcomplete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing & testing complete with Gl earth plate electrode 60cmX60cmX6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers etc. made of GI & connected to earthing test point and earth dolly all as shown in elect plate No 3 of SSR Pt I including all necessary earth work, excavation, PCC chamber, (1:2:4) B1 & RCC (1:2:4) B1 chamber cover with suitable reinforcement with hand e including 15mm bore GI light grade protection pipe upto 7.5m length & 20mm bore Gl medium grade watering pipe and wire mesh, funnel, char coal dust, common salt, wire mesh etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&L of 4 MM dia Gl wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with the existing cable on surface/recessed / cable trench or in pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

Labour and T&P for cutting grass by mechanically operated slasher including removing of material upto a distance exc 250m & n.exc 500m, obtained from cutting & cleaning, (from the concrete edges) complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Mechanical slasher (i.e.set of one tractor & Jungle Jim) with POL & MT driver shall be arranged by the Contractor and quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive all provisions. (ii) The mechanical slasher shall be operated from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs including lunch break of half an hour, excluding Sundays and holidays on requirement basis. (iii) Minimum output of one mechanical slasher shall not be less than 6000 sqm per day (grass cutting clear area). (iv) Attendance register shall be maintained by the Engg in Charge for operation of this item and shall be submitted to GE duly signed by contractor, JE and Engg in charge while processing payment of RAR).(v) On any particular day more than one slasher may be provided as on required basis. The unit of work shall be measured multiple of job per day. (vi) Min. Output of 6000 sqm is not achieved in one day shall be considered in balance to that day for accounting.

Labour and T&P for cutting of glass by bush cutter operated slasher including removing of material upto a distance exc 250m & n.exc 500m. obtained from cutting & cleaning, (from the concrete edges) complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Bush Cutter with POL & operator shall be arranged by the contractor and quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive all provisions. (ii) The bush cutter shall be operated from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs including lunch break of half an hour, excluding Sundays and holidays on requirement basis. (iii) Minimum output of one bush cutter shall not be less than 350 Sqm per day (Grass cutting clear area). (iv) Attendance register shall be maintained by the Engg in Charge for operation of this item and shall be submitted to GE duly signed by contractor, JE and Engg in charge while processing payment of RAR).(v) On any particular day more than one slasher may be provided as on required basis. The unit of work shall be measured multiple of job per day.

Cutting/Scraping grass/wild growth and all vegetation etc manually around the runway light etc, stacking into heaps and removing off from the premises upto a distance exceeding 250m & n.exc 500m complete all as specified and directed.(Note:- The work shall be carried out on requirement basis during the contract period.)
