Providing and constructing Gabion structure for erosion control and protection works with polymere wire crates of size 2.00 x 1.00 x 1.00 mtr each divided into 1.00 mtr compartments by cross netting with mesh opening size 150 x 150mm, made from 9mm polymere rope (PP) having a weight of 40gm/mtrwith a tolerance of + or _ 8%, 1560 kg beaking strength (min) and after 1000 cycles of abrasion the rope shall be subjected to tensile test as per IS:7071 (part-IV)-1986, which shall be more than 85% of the original breaking strength of the rope, crates shall be filled with boulders with least dimension of 200mm, all loose ends to be securely tied with 9mm polymere wire as per the specification of Gabions and as per the direction of the Engineer-incharge.
