Schedule 'A'Section-XV (Misc Items of Works) Note : This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col. 5 siginifies this fact only.
High intensity retro reflective sign boards made of hardened ACP sheet 2 mm thick POP riveted to stainless steel pipes as required. Sign boards shall be reflective on both sides with wide HIP sheet and overlay film of blue/green colour with computer cut letters/sign and border made of high intensity grade white/yellow sheeting and mechanically fixed on ACP sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:-(i) Stainless steel pipe will be measured and paid for separately under item No. 15 above. (ii) The rate shall include all computerized lettering of any height, width and any Nos and may consist of letter, symbols or alphabets in any pattern and of any size etc complete as per data provided during execution. (iii) The sign board shall be manufactured as per sample kept in GE office.

ROAD, PATH, CULVERTS AND HARDSTANDING WORKS Providing, Laying, compaction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material conforming to specifications i.e Grading II, conforming to Clause 401 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne to achieve the desired density, 150 mm thick compacted thickness, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Providing, Laying, compaction of Wet Mix Macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) , 250 mm thick (compacted thickness,125 mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed graded stone aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ), grading of aggregates as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) ,including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density , required gradient and camber etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES: 1. The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each layer of 125 mm thick (compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose,both layers shall be considered as one unit.
Preparation of un-surfaced Wet Mix macadam (WMM) surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for re-moving caked mud ,dust, loose material, foreign material etc., sweeping with power brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced wet mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 50 mm Compacted thickness conforming to Clause 504 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.
Preparation of surfaces and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to Clause 503 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metres using using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M & L for precast (factory casted) cement Concrete kerb stone casted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with plain or interlocking joints (as directed), making groove in existing road of desired dimension, placing in erect position Kerb stone in edging and set and jointed in cement mortar 1:4, making good distrubed surface of ground complete all as specified and directed.
Centrifugally cast ductile iron pressure pipe 100 mm bore, with socket & spigot ends ISI marked with IS 8329/2000 classification K9, In standard length of 5.5 - 6 mtr suitable for and including push on joint (gasket D jointing) with cement mortar lining in the pipes, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:-Ductile iron fittings will be measured and paid for separately.
Cast iron fittings for pressure pipes for water supply such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket or flanged etc.), tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot of flanged), collars, tail pieces, caps and plugs suitable upto 300 mm bore cast iron pressure pipes including nuts, bolts, washer and push on flexible rubber gasket joints, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of brick masonary valve pit of size 600 mm x 600mm x 600 mm (Internal size) thickness of walls shall be 23cm in brick work in cement mortar 1:6 internally plastered in cement mortar (1:6) and externally plastered in cement mortar (1:4) over 15cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 having 15cm offset around, including 4 cm thick coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 on the top of the brick wall and 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover and angle iron frame of size 40 mm x 40mm x 6mm including provn of suitable hold fasts to hold the frame, locking arrangement and lifting handle, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint, over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .
Construction of brick masonary valve pit of size 1200 mm x 1200mm x 1200 mm (Internal size) thickness of walls shall be 23cm in brick work in cement mortar 1:6 internally plastered in cement mortar (1:6) and externally plastered in cement mortar (1:4) over 15cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 having 15cm offset around, including 4 cm thick coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 on the top of the brick wall and 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover and angle iron frame of size 40 mm x 40mm x 6mm including provn of suitable hold fasts to hold the frame, locking arrangement and lifting handle, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint, over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .
Sluice valve, 100 mm bore, cast iron body, having brass spindle with iron wheel at top, class PN 1.6, with flanged ends, drilled suitably, complete with joints and including necessary joints by means of bolts, nuts washers and rubber gaskets, conformig to IS 14846-2000 complete all as specified for the following size complete all as specified and directed.
EXT ELECTRIC SUPPLY, LIGHTENING PROTECTION WORKS AND ALLIED ELECTRICAL ITEMS FOR FIRE ALARM AND FIRE FIGHTING WORKS Supply, installing, testing and commissioning, factory made and tested (incl CPRI type test certified), LT Panel of appropriate dimensions (as per Indian Electricity rules) to accommodate following components, outdoor type, platform/floor mounted front and back openable, suitable for 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire, 50 Hz AC supply system, having 01 No bus bar chambers with insulated copper bus bars of rating not less than 1.5 times rated capacity of individual MCCB installed on porcelain insulators 4 wire extendible in both ends, fully compartmentalized for each control gear having back side of panel openable (Keeping in mind the space constraints at site) and shall be provided with suitable louvers for ventilation. Bus bars provided shall be adequately supported on insulators to withstand dynamic stresses due to short circuit current & shall be suitably colour coded with heat shrinkable sleeve for phase indication. The standard phase arrangement when facing the switchgear shall be R-Y-B from left to right the bus bar connections and their insulated supports shall be mechanically strong, & shall withstand all the stresses which shall be imposed upon them in ordinary working due to fixing vibration, fluctuation in temp, shot-circuit or other causes. The bus bar will be supported on DMC provision shall be made for expansion and contraction of the bus bars and connections with variation of temp. Internal wiring shall be done with multi-stranded copper conductors and shall be properly bunched, tied, ferruled for proper identification, crimped and shall be connected with suitable lugs and PVC sleeves etc. The bottom of the panel shall contain detachable plate having provision for entry of armoured cable of adequate size with glands. Threaded earthing studs -02 Nos. shall be provided at the bottom and lifting lugs of suitable size at top to lift the panel safely shall be made. The cubicle incomer MCCB as well as outgoings shall have copper TPN/TP extension links of current rating not less than 1.5 times rated capacity of individual feeders. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof, IP 65 class protection and made of 3.15mm thick CRCA MS sheet and 50x50x6mm thick angle iron frame work, duly power coated with Siemens grey shade RAL 7032 over one coat of red oxide primer with locking arrangement {including provn of 65mm Godrej (Freedom) lock with 2 keys for both shutters}.
