COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM AT 512 ABW AND CAFVD AND REPAIR SERVICING OF DG SETS AND CONNECTED WORKS UNDER AGE EM II IN GE CENTRAL KIRKEE

Comprehensive maint consisting of normal repairs, preventive maintenance and attending day-to-day break down/complaints of entre fire fighting system including pumping,water pipe line ,hydrants, fire alarm system, CO2 flooding system complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note:- (a) Any complaints regarding breakdown must be attended with in 12 hours failing to which an amount of Rs.500.00/day on sub sequent days will deducted from payment due to the contractor. In case of major repair/defects,contractor has to intimate the department with 24hours, failing which a recovery as mentioned above will be affected.

(b) Quated rates are deemed to be inclusive of the cost of all T & P, materials and labour required for dismantling and re-assembling of equipment in whole as a part there of, minor fabrication work at site and cost of minor spares and material required such as grease ,cotton waste ,lugs ,nut bolts, washers, insulation tapes,welding rod etc.

(c) Major defects such as major repair to pipe line,pumps,motor rewinding starter parts ,cable ,MCCB are not included in the rate quoted by the contractor and they shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

(d) Technicians are responsible for keeping system upto date and serviceable at 512 ABW and CAFVD at any time, height and location as directed by Engineer in Charge.

(e) Contractor should employ skilled workers with all required saftey equipments and contractor shall be solely responsible for saftey of workers.

(f) The workers empolyed by the contractor will collect compaint slip at water supply complaint cell every day and return the slip after duly rectrifying the complaint.

(g) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive all the safety equipments and other T & P required for carrying out the repairs/maintence. The contractor has to liase with the department in case of taking of electric shutdown of each machinery and has to make the machinery functional by carrying out the maintenance.

(j)Contractor should visit the site before quoting the rate for better understanding of the scope of work.

Supply only Single type fire hydrant landing valve, SS, ISI Marked, type A Single headed outlet of 63mm dia with and including rubber gasket, nut & bolts complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply only Double type fire hydrant landing valve, SS, ISI Marked, type A Double headed outlet of 63mm dia with and including rubber gasket, nut & bolts complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply only Branch pipe, SS, 63mm, ISI Marked, instantaneous inlet, made threaded outlet, 15mm bore with nozzle short type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply only Hose pipe 63mm dia, 15 mtr long hose confirming to IS 636, SS, ISI Marked, complete with male and female coupling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply only Hose box, Out door type of suitable size made out of minimum 1mm thick MS sheet with double door with 4mm thick plain sheet glasses and door frame made of 1.2 mm thick MS sheet painted fire red outside and brilliant white inside complete with fixing nut bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply only Hose reel drum with 20mm thermoplastic hose pipe- 20 Mtr long, ISI marked with Nozzle complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply only Pressure guage, Glycerin filled, 21 KG, 4", complete all all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply only Butterfly valve, both end flanged, of size 50 mm dia, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Make: Kartar or equivalent in Normex/Zoloto as approved by GE.

Supply only Photoelectric smoke detector, 2 wire, 24V DC all as per exising make (Agni Model ASSD 16) or equivalent as approved by GE.

Material and Labour for Cleaning of RCC underground/semi underground water supply sump, static water tank of capacity Exceeding 10,000 GLNS to 50,000 GLNS by dewatring and taking out all scales,dirts, mud, algae etc from inside the tank and from mouth of circulating pipes with and including taking out sludge with help of sludge pump of suitable capacity including washing of tank wall with bleaching powder solution and then with water and draining out sludge water and painting with existing type of paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Note for Item No 29 :- (i) Cleaning should be done by scraper and removing dirt with brush and washing with bleaching powder all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (ii) The inlet and outlet / over flow pipe of sump should be cleaned properly and care should be taken to prevent entry of sludge into pipe line by blocking mouth of pipe. Any blockage of the inlet / outlet / overflow pipe line shall be cleaned by contractor at no extra cost. (iii) Date of cleaning 'CLEANED ON ___________ NEXT due DATE ______________' should be painted with black and white paint as per Existing size. (iv) Tank / Sump capaciting 'CAPACITY ________ GLNS' should be painted on tank as per existing size.

Material and Labour for Mild Steel brackets, frames ,supports channel and stands of type as required made out of angle iron, channel, flat or strip of grade Fe-410-S of any size as per site requirement etc complete with painting two coat with synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and Fix cast iron specials, bends and type, reducer and angle tapers, any straight bends, double socket etc, Tee pipes single branch all socketed and spigot CI upto 350mm dia including dismantling of old one complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and Fix cast iron air valve of size 50 to 100 mm dia with flanged end including rubber gaskets, nut bolts and washers etc complete including taking out old unserviceable air valve complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and Labour for Excavation in trenches not exceding 1.5 m wide not exceding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and Labour for Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling watering well ramming in layer n.exc 1.5 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and Labour for Removal of excavating material n.exc 50m & deposited where directed and n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note for Item No 61 :- (a) Contractor should visit the site before quoting the rates and provide skilled labour while executing the job. (b) Proper Scafolding arrangement is to be made while Dismantling , fixing and painting of exhast pipe and silencer. Rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to be inclusive of the rate for scafolding. (c) Misc items such as replacement of worn out nut, bolts etc required for satisfactory completion of job are deemed to be included in the above cost.

Supply & Refilling of Electrolite Chemical for Ni Cd batteries- 50 ltrs with and including Distilled water 150 ltrs including testing of batteries complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & Fixing of fabricated MS bracket /MS Plates/supports for MS and CI Pipe line, made out of angle iron and flat iron including bolts, nuts, washers and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for repairing of self starter of 110/160 KVA DG 24 volt DC supply by repacement of bearing, solonoid switch, rewinding of Armature etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for repairing of self starter of 1000 KVA DG 24 volt DC supply by repacement of bearing, solonoid switch, rewinding of Armature etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for spray painting of DG Sets/DG Driven pump sets with two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer after removing the existing deteriorated paint by scrapping the complete body along with foundation of DG Set/Diesel driven pump sets and filling the cavities with filter and marking of SM/MES No. with black paint for 1000 KVA DG set complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & Fix in repairs earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or fixed to pole Copper strip or burried in ground 20 x 3 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & Fix in replacment DG set starting unit as per existing suitable for 1000 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for cleaning of oil sump, with replacment of oil pump strainer, drain plug, packing complete of DG Set upto capacity 160 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for cleaning of oil sump, with replacment of oil pump strainer, drain plug, packing complete of DG Set upto capacity 1000 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for greasing to bearing of Alternator of capacity 1000KVA with pressure gun complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
