Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters including fitting and fixtures area not exc 1.5 Sqm each (without taking off the wooden shutters from the frame) including cutting holes for hold fasts and making good disturbed surface with cement mortor or PCC after fixing new chowkats complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters including fitting and fixtures area exc 1.5 Sqm but not exc 4 Sqm each (without taking off the wooden shutters from the frame) including cutting holes for hold fasts and making good disturbed surface with cement mortor or PCC after fixing new chowkats complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal size 90cm x 90cm x 90cm including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx6 mm, MS sheet cover of 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement with one number 50 mm dia brass pad lock complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note :- (i) Brick wall shall be 23 cm thick built in cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Internal plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and external plaster upto 450mm from top shall be 20mm thick in CM (1:6) and remaining external surface shall be flush pointing in CM (1:6) as the work proceeds. (iii) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external face of the walls. (iv) PCC coping shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete ( 1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including grouting of angle iron frame in PCC. (v) Three coats of white wash to internal surfaces of valve pit. (vi) Depth of valve pit shall be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, connected to earth lead of GI wire 4 mm dia (8 SWG) by means of bolts, nuts and washers of the earth wire galvanised iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to earthing test point and protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 15mm dia and water pipe 20mm dia GI light grade top of pipe with funnel & wiremesh, and bottom connected to earth plate by slit and two bolts/nuts/washers, PCC chamber in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 and 40mm thick RCC cover, excavation & earth work complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I of SSR-2009 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes :- (i) GI wire upto DBs or upto earth test point is included in this item. (ii) Outer edge of earth pit chamber shall be 1.5 metre away from the outer edge of PCC chamber. (iii) Minimum weight of reinforcement for RCC cover shall be 1 KG.

All as per item No 189 above but taking out old earthing

Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty underground electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 16 sq mm 2 core confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I-1988) laid in trenches, along poles through pipes etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting / floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of the above provisions.

All as per item No 191 above but including taking out old cable

M&L for dry sand (Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning to underground cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note: - For payment purpose thickness after punning shall be measured.

M & L for brick protection with old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat, length of bricks across the route of underground cable all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Galvanized iron tubing, 40mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches / under road / drains, fixed to poles / walls with required numbers of clamps made out of 25x3mm flat iron, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Cost of flat iron clamp if required is included in the unit rate of this item. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account..

All as per item No 196 above but including taking out old tubing -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note :- A sum of Rs. 67926/- will be deducted on account of credit for dismantled/ demolished / taken down material.
