Cleaning of RCC Over Head Reservoirs as described below : i) Before starting the cleaning of Over Head Reservoir, distribution line from OH tank is to be disconnected and plugged with suitable fitting. After cleaning, plugged line should be washed out and connected to the distribution pipe line as per existing position. Cost of required earth work and excavation at places is deemed to be included in item rate quoted by the contractor. ii) The inner surface of the walls and ceiling of the tank shall be cleaned with high pressure jet pump after emptying the water in the tank. iii) After thorough cleaning of the tank, the cleaning water and sludge is to be removed by using pump and the sludge has to be disposed off at a place as directed. iv) After removing the sludge from tank the tank shall be first cleaned thoroughly by using high pressure water pump and again the floor and inner surfaces of the tank shall be cleaned by using a industrial vaccum cleaner and the tank shall be made fully dirt free. v) After making the tank dirt free, the inner surfaces of walls and ceiling of the tank shall be treated with anti bacterial agents. vi) After the treatment as mentioned at (iv) above, the inner surfaces of walls and ceiling shall be treated with UV Radiator. NOTE : (i) The unit rate quoted deemed to be including draining of water with mechanical equipment and working in water and mud etc. (ii) The unit rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of all safety precautions which shall be taken while working on RCC over head tank/underground sump and contractor or his Engineer shall be available during execution of the job. (iii) Lighting arrangements if required shall be provided by the contractor temporarily at his own arrangements and the rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of this and electricity / diesel shall not be provided by the department. (iv) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to do the work inside each OH tank/UG sump to precvent interruption of water supply to the users. Taking down water level indicator unit from Over head reservoir/Semi Under ground sump, supply and fix new water level indicator with complete accessories such as copper ball, necessary pully, nylon rope, steel patti duly painted white with marking at every 10cm interval, letter writing of size 15mm width and 100mm long with signal red radium paint and painting of indicator with illumination postal red paint and errected at the height of 3 meter from ground level with necessary angle iron, nut and bolts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for replacement of existing unserviceable base frame for the pump set of any capacity fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts and washers, welding, bending, cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or sizes as indicated or directed inclusive of one coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw including taking out old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long including taking out old unsserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, laying, connecitng, testing and commissioning PVC insulated, PVC sheathed armoured, heavy duty electric power cable with multi stranded copper conductor, 1100 volts grade, of cross-sectional area 2.5 Sqmm 3 - core for aviation obstruction light of OH reservior upto 25m height including cutting to required lengths and connecting with necessary lugs and glands at both ends and taking out the existing burnt/ unserviceable one from panel/ starter complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replace MCB DB DD 4 - way SPN 240 Volts and removig unserviceable materials out of site including connecting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replace existing unserviceble MCB SPN 5 - 30 Amps complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replace aviation obstruction light aviation yellow painted die cast aluminium alloy housing built in heat resistant clear thick glass and accessories LED aviation obstruction light suitable to operate on 230 volts single phase AC supply complete on OH reservior complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Make:Bajaj/Philips/Wipro.

Taking down angle iron of any size from top of MS tank and replacing the same with existing size angle iron including drilling holes/welding to fix the MS sheet on top and other minor accessories as required all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down old us rusted MS plain sheet from top of Over head Tank and replacing the same with 3.15mm thick MS sheet by welding or with nut, bolt and washers including cutting in pieces inclusive of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer as per site requirement and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting existing water level indicator, taking out defective MS wire rope from overhead tanks of any head, pulley, ball and replacing with new MS wire rope, ball of dia 300mm with provision for fixing wire, greasing and refixing both the pullies on another side as directed including marking the level on the indicator complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L Preparation of old surface and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint on MS/CI/GI pipes, LT Panels/Pump & motors, MS channel, water level indicators etc in E/M installations over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replace chain link coupling complete with necessary locking arragement suitable for 40 HP pump set complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replace chain link coupling complete with necessary locking arragement suitable for 12.50 HP pump set complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replace rubber coupling exists in star coupling set complete with necessary locking arragement suitable for 40 HP pump set.

M&L for Preparation of plinth for placing of motors, pumps etc with cement concrete of type D2 1:4:8 (40mm graded aggregate) as per site requiement including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

S&F wire netting of galvanised steel wire 1.40mm dia and 12mm size of mesh fixed with tinned tacks of wire staples for preventing entry of leaves, dust and other foreign material into Over Head Tanks, UG Sumps etc as per site requirement all as specified and directed.
