| 3.01 | (A) Engine comprising of the following:
The 200 kVA diesel engine genset (BS-5514) is designed for prime duty operation with an output of 200 kVA / 160 kWe. It is powered It is powered by engine power of 178 kW (approximately 243.3 HP), 6-cylinder, inline, turbocharged aftercooled (TCAC) engine with a displacement of 7.31 litres and bore × stroke of 108 × 133 mm. The radiator liquid cooled and operates at a compression ratio of 16.8:1. It runs at a rated speed of 1500 RPM with an overspeed trip at 1650 RPM and is equipped with an electronic/CRS G3 governor, ensuring isochronous frequency regulation for stable performance.
The exhaust system is designed to handle a maximum back pressure of 13 kPa with an exhaust gas temperature of around 530°C and includes an after-treatment system comprising DOC, SCR, and ASC. The engine electrical system consists of a 12V, 35A charging alternator and a 2X12V, 150 Ah battery for starting. It operates on High Speed Diesel (HSD) as per IS 1460 standards, with a fuel tank capacity of 320 litres. The fuel consumption is approximately 44.3 LPH at full load and about 33 LPH at 75% load.
The lubrication system has a sump capacity of 17.5 litres with an oil change interval of 500 hours. The engine uses 15W40 grade lubricating oil (API CI4+) with oil consumption limited to ≤0.06% of specific fuel consumption. It is equipped with spin-on type oil filters (single unit), ensuring efficient filtration and reliable engine operation.
(B) Alternator comprising of the following:
The alternator of 200 KVA genset is designed ( IS- 13364) part-II for three-phase operation at a voltage of 415 V and a frequency of 50 Hz. It delivers a rated current of 278.24 amps and is of 4-pole, rotating field type construction. The alternator is equipped with an automatic voltage regulator (AVR) ensuring voltage regulation within ±1%, providing stable and reliable output.
The insulation class of the alternator is Class H, suitable for high-temperature operation, with a permissible temperature rise of up to 125°C. It is fitted with a single sealed bearing for durability and requires minimal maintenance. The alternator is coupled to the engine through a flex disc coupling, ensuring smooth transmission of power and reduced vibration. Additionally, it has the capability to handle unbalanced loads up to 25% of the rated current, making it suitable for varying load conditions. | - | - | - | - |
| 3.02 | Control Panel comprising of the following:
(C) AMF / Control panel is manufactured with 16/18 gauge CRCA sheet and is powder coated for weather-proof and long lasting finish. The control panel consists of the following parts of makes as per OEM recommendation: microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system. AMF Functionality is inbuilt and this control includes an intuitive operator interface that allows for complete generator set control as well as system metering, fault annunciation, configuration, and diagnostics, Copper bus bars with suitable capacity with incoming/outgoing terminals, Indicating lamps for ‘Load ON’ and ‘Set Running', Instrument fuses / MCBs duly wired and ferruled, Circuit breakers of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protections. along with motorised change overs /on load power contactors with copper busbars, cables and protective accessories with load / bypass arrangements.

| 3.03 | (D) Controller should be compatable to the following specifications:

(ii) Intuitive operator interface which includes LED backlit 128X64 pixel graphic display with tactile feel soft-switches. Indications - Generator set, Utility Status Lamp.
(iii) Remote start-stop with Engine Metering: Oil pressure, Engine temperature, Starting battery voltage, Engine running hours
(iv) AC Alternator Metering: L-L Voltage and L-N Voltage, Current (phase and total), KVA (phase and total) and Frequency. kwh, Total & per phase (kw & KVA), PF, Utility Voltage and Freq.

(j) Mounting Arrangement shall be of the following:
(i) Engine and alternator are mounted on a common MS fabricated base frame with AVM pads.
(ii) Base frame with integral fuel tank is provided with drain plug, air vent, inlet and outlet connection, level indicator and provision for cleaning.
(k) Fuel Tank of capacity 12 hrs running capacity along with Fuel pipe MS C class 25mm ID with bends , flanges , valves, tees and bends.
(l) Control / service cables shall be of 4cx 2.5 sqmm, 24 c x 2.5 sqmm , 2 c x 2.5 sqmm, and 8c x 0.75 sqmm shielded control cables ,pvc insulated copper armoured, control panel for auxiliaries with starters for pumps, heaters etc.
(m) RCC foundation with necessary earth work ,PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete / RCC M-30 (20 mm graded aggregate) as in foundations, Plinth beam along with necessary form work/ TMT bars of 10mm dia and over cut to length bend to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia securing with clips / 10 mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in CM (1:6),even and smooth without using extra cement/ Sand filling in layers around the foundation including watering and consolidation as per OEM dimensions.
(n) Acoustic Enclosure shall comprise of the following
(i)Specially designed to meet stringent MoEF/ CPCB norms of 75 dBA @ 1mtr at 75% load under free field conditions
(ii) The Acoustic Enclosure as per CPCB Norms is made of CRCA sheets in Munsel green shade and a structural/ sheet metal base frame painted in black. or any other standard colour as specified by the OEM
(iii) High quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material (P.U. Foam) complying to IS-8183 designed to have optimum serviceability
(iv) Air inlet louvers specially designed to operate at rated load, Made on special purpose CNC machines for consistency inquality and workmanship

The 250 kVA diesel engine genset (BS-5514) is designed for prime operation with an output of 250 kVA / 200 kWe. It is powered by engine power of 223 kW (approximately 303.4 HP), 6-cylinder, inline type with turbocharged aftercooled (TCAC) aspiration, having a displacement of 7.31 litres and bore × stroke of 108 × 133 mm and radiator liquid cooled. It operates at a compression ratio of 16.8:1 with a rated speed of 1500 RPM and an overspeed trip at 1650 RPM. The engine is equipped with a CRS/G3 governor and provides isochronous frequency regulation, ensuring stable performance.
The exhaust system allows a maximum back pressure of 17 kPa with an exhaust gas temperature of about 550°C and is fitted with an after-treatment system comprising DOC, SCR, and ASC. The engine electrical system includes a 12V, 35A charging alternator and a 2x12V, 180 Ah battery for starting. It runs on High Speed Diesel (HSD) as per IS 1460 standards, with a fuel tank capacity of 385 litres. The fuel consumption is approximately 53.5 LPH at full load and 39 LPH at 75% load.
The lubrication system has a sump capacity of 25 litres with an oil change interval of 500 hours. The alternator delivers a rated current of 347.8 amps and is of 4-pole, rotating field type construction, ensuring efficient and reliable power generation. It is fitted with an automatic voltage regulator (AVR), maintaining voltage regulation within ±1% for stable output under varying load conditions.
