M&L for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600mmx600mmx6mm, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtrs deep below normal ground level, connected to GI earth strip of size 32x6mm by means of brazing and connected to earthing test point / distribution board/equipments or any other indicated situation by means of brazing all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I (2009) and testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling, removing of soil. GI medium grade pipe 20mm dia 1.5 mtr long with funnel and wire mesh as watering pipe, and GI medium grade pipe 32mm dia as earth lead protection pipe. Note :- (i) The rates quoted for the complete earthing shall deemed to include the cost of GI Earth strip 32 x 6 mm dia and GI medium grade protection pipe upto 7.5 Mtrs. (ii) GI earth strip and GI medium grade protection pipe beyond 7.5 Mtrs length shall be measured and paid separately.

GI medium grade pipe 20mm dia 1.5 mtr long with funnel and wire mesh as watering pipe, and GI medium grade pipe 32mm dia as earth lead protection pipe. M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required GI strip of size 25x4mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required GI or steel wire 4.00mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed inlcuding 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting the joints made with nut, bolts and washers of earth lead conductors of any type (copper/GI/aluminium) and jointing by means of exothermal joints or brazing by using silver/copper/brass brazing strips complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, laying in trenches or under floor or fixed on walls including all pipe fittings PVC pipe ISI Marked of size 20 mm dia for earthing lead protection including saddle clamps, fastners, nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying in trenches or under floor or fixed on walls including all pipe fittings GI pipe medium grade of size 32mm dia for earthing lead protection including saddle clamps, fastners, nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for dismantling the existing broken earth pits and supply and fixing prefabricated PCC earth pit covers made of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate evenly finished, 40mm thick chamber cover made of 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars at 100 c/c on both ways precast chamber cover with lifting handle 16mm dia round bar complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs earth Pit Covers made of Heavy duty polyethylene FRP, environment friendly, Rust Proof with bottom dia 330mm, top dia 254mm and height 260mm, having load bearing capacity of 3 Tons, with factory Built Holes for accessing Strip/Wires easily at two sides including measuring the resistance value of earthing and writing on top of cover with white/black colour synthetic enamel paint of existing chemical earth pits complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for making high conductive ,corrosion resistant , CPRI approved maintenance free Chemical Earth pit of brand conforming to minimum ISO 9001-2000 certification as approved by accepting officer comprising of chemical earth enhancing non ferrous compound containing no carbon or graphite filled in earth pit (Qty 50 Kg ) of bore hole of >150 m and depth upto 3.3 mtr (approx) and comprising of "Fast earth electrode (Double pipe technology based chemically pre- filled fully sealed earth electrode) or equivalent conforming to minimum ISO - 9001-2000, with outer pipe 80 mm dia and inner pipe 40 mm dia and 3.00 mtr long made of high conductive Zinc coated Hot dip galvanized mild steel with 40x6mm GI strip at top, technically required to achieve resistance of 1 ohm along with heavy duty high density lockable plastic cover cum inspection chamber mounted on earthing electrode shall be fixed stainless steel fasteners including all other required accessories to complete the job of earth pit with earth termination to achieve rod resistance 1 ohms complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- (i) Cost of earth strip and GI protection pipe for earth strip shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of boring of earth polymer chamber with cover and test point.

M&L for chemical earthing with copper earth plate of size 900mmx900mmx5mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit depth not less than 3 Mtr below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.25 Mtrs below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 30 cm thick and packed layers of charcoal dust, salt and magnesium sulphate in alternate layers and electrode connections by using copper strip lead 50x6mm size by means of copper brazing, provision of 63mm dia GI medium grade pipe for protection of earth strip and 40mm dia GI pipe medium grade 4mm holes at every 15 cm all around the pipe for watering arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and heavy duty polymer earth pit chamber with cover including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and testing of earthing all as specified and directed by Engnieer-in-Charge. (The earth resistance shall be not be more than 0.50 Ohms).

Note :- (i) Charcoal (dust) - 400 Kg, Salt - 200 Kg & Magnesium sulphate (fine crystal) - 100 Kgs. (ii) Copper strip shall be brazed with copper earth electrode. (iii) Alternate layers of charcoal and salt to be laid in the earth pit all around the copper plate i.e. minimum 30 cm all around the plate (i.e. all the six faces) at least 5 layers to be laid. (iv) Alternate layers of charcoal and salt (15 cm each) and a 10 cm layer of magnesium sulphate to be laid. (v) Copper shall pour sufficient amount of water in earth pit before and after earthing and to be rammed properly. (vi) Copper strip is to extended upto the equipment and connected by brazing with the help of brazing strips. Provsion for GI Pipe medium grade 63 mm shall be made upto equipment for protection of earth lead.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep in soft/loose soil) for laying of cables, GI pipe or filling of earth resistance enhance compound and getting out including levelling of bottom suface to required level complete all as specified and directed

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (i.e. soil) from site to a distance n. exc 50 m away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Supply, laying, jointing and commissioning in replacment LT underground cables XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminium conductors, 1100 volts grade cross sectional area 35 Sqmm 4 core including taking down unserviceable cable, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of road of any description for crossing the cable across the road width through GI light grade pipe of 50 mm dia and filling the road cutting with excavated materials including necessary returning filling in and including spreading, levelling, watering complee all as directed by Engineerin in charge.

M/L for plain cement concrete type 1:2:4, B-2, (40mm graded aggregate) 100mm thick, as in for making top surface of road cutting , finished fair & even complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying GI pipe light grade 50 mm bore under road crossing or on poles for protection of cable.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required GI strip of size 32x6mm dia complete all as specified and directed.
