M&L chemical earthing complete with plate 90cmx60cmx5mm thick copper plate electrode buried direct in ground vertically not less than 4.25 mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 3.50 mtrs deep below ground level with connected to copper strip of size 32x6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolt nut and brazing , check nut and washer all as directed to test point including necessary excavation and earth work (in any type of strata ) and providing charcoal dust 250 Kgs, common salt 200 kgs , magnesium sulphate 100 kgs and all around the plate 15 CM depth and wide and up to 2 mtr height in continuous layers, balance pit will be filled with soil up to ground level including watering pipe GI medium grade of 20mm dia and 50 mm dia pipe medium grade for earth strip protection up to 7.5 mtr , PCC (1:3:6 ) type C1 chamber , cast iron chamber frame , heavy duty funnel and RCC pit cover all as directed . Note:-(i) Copper strip 32X6 mm upto 7.5 mtr length shall be deemed to include in this items rate. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost by the contactor.

M & L Earthing complete with copper earth electrode 60cm×60cm ×3.15mm burried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to and including copper strip of size 20x3 mm by means of nut, bolt, check nut and washer etc made of copper alloy and connection to test point and earth dolly all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 SSR Part I 2009 and specified or indicated including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, (in any type of strata ) PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 in chamber, precast 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 with CI frame, funnel, GI Pipe 20 mm bore medium grade for watering and 40 mm bore GI Pipe middium grade for protection and test point complete Note:-(i) Copper strip 20 x 3 mm upto 7.5 mtr length shall be deemed to include in this items rate. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost by the contractor.

S&F Copper Strip 20x3.mm with Saddles with centre to centre distance bot nore then 50 cm and fixing Screws for ground Roof/ Earth Conductors and Down Conductors above Ground complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Brazing.

S&F Test Point Terminal Block made of Gun Metal or Phosphorus Bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled and screwed including 3 No. 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal Head Screw complete all as specified and directed.

S&F earthing pit identifier / marker for lightening arrester made of MS plate 3 mm thick oval size having major axis 30 cm & minor axis 20 cm mounted on 25 mm dia GI pipe medium grade project 60 cm above the ground and embeded suitably in concrete PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of size 20 cm x 20 cm x30 cm. The oval shape identifier & earthing pit cover shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and writing letter e.g. LA 1/10 on the plate and earth pit cover all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per item No.5 above but having tringular plate of base 30 cm & vertical height of 20 cm for equipment earthing pit and writing letters e.g. EQ 1/10 etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Ditto all as per item No. 5 above but having rectangular plate of length 30 cm & width 20 cm for power supply earth and writing letters e.g. PS 1/10 etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note for item No. 5 to 7 : The cover plate of earth pit and MS plate is to be painted with colour code of the type of earthing pit for Chemical earthing pit RED colour and for conventional earthing pit YELLOW colour and writing letters on plate and cover of pit in BLACK colour. The detail guidelines has been incorporated in the particular specification. Contractor to quote their rate accordingly

Ditto all as per item No. 5 above but the plate of shape having combition of rectangle & circle segment as directed for signal earth and writing letters e.g. SG 1/10 on the plate and earth pit cover all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material & labour for Electrical Earthing with GI plate electrod of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically earth pit not less than 2.5 mtr deep below normal ground level with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to GI strip earth lead of size 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers made of galvanised iron and connected main control board/switch gear/pannel boards all as specified and shown in Electrical plate No 3 of MES shcedule (SSR) Part-I, 2009 including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, charcoal dust, salt and PCC 1:2:4 type B1 in chambler RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover slab with 6 mm dia mild steel bars at 100 mm center to center both ways and with 6 mm dia MS hook complete and testing resistence all as specified and as directed. Note:-GI strip 32 x 6 mm upto 7.5 mtr length shall be deemed to include in this items rate. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost by the contractor.

Supply and fix GI strip 32x6mm for loop earthing laid in ground. Note :- Earth work will measured and paid saperately.

M&L earthing complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.0mm thick, buried directly vertically in ground in a pit depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less then 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth strip 25mmx4mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing strip shall be protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 40 mm bore light grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole / test point. Watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be of inclusive of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & tested complete. Note 1.
