Dismantling old ceiling plaster carefully and cleaning the surface for plaster including scaffolding, disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 100 m lead, cutting of 2nos. of 10 mm M.S. Rod per Sq.m. if required etc. complete including protecting the permanently fixed laboratory equipments, other equipments, fragile materials etc. while dismantling. After dismantling and disposing the rubbish, providing and applying white cement based wall putty (Birla wall Care or approved equivalent) over concrete or Plastered surface minimum 3 mm and up to 6 mm thick including cleaning complete all as directed by the Project Engineer. Notes: 1. Fan coil units, fixed equipments in lab etc. to be covered with tarpolene/plastic cover. 2. While dismantling plywood platforms should be fixed on the scaffolding to protect the underlying equipments. This item includes bringing dismantled debris/rubbish from all the floors to the dumping ground within 100 m lead. Dismantling of plastering should be done by chiselling and mechaical means without damaging the RCC.

Providing and applying two coats of anti-carbonaton paint of approved colour and shade of approved manufacturers on concrete surfaces (ceilings, beams, columns etc.)

Providing structural Repairs in Old Damaged concrete structures / surfaces with approved Polymer with following operations : 1) Removal of loose/Spaled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete suface and Reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water jet. 2) Cleaning the Re bars with Acetone for complete Rust removal and washing with water jet to prepare the surface free from Acid content. 3) Applying Protective Coat / bond coat using Polymer and Cement in the proportion of 1: 1.5 (1 part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in Synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush 4) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20 mm with the proportion of Cement 50 Kg : Washed and dried river sand 87.50 kg : Silica sand 37.50 Kg mixed with 10 litres of Polymer (or 1 Kg cement : 1.75 kg Washed and dried river sand : 0.75 Kg Silica Sand : 200 ml polymer) 5) If thickness of repair exceeds 20 mm, after every 20 mm thick bond coat as per 2 above to be applied before continuing further structural repair works. Notes : 1. This work is inclusive of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed at site by Engineer-In-Charge. 2. Approved Polymer suitable for Structural repair shall be used.

Providing Reinforcement Steel for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with PVC coated G.I binding wire, all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings. Steel supplied by the contractor

Using TMT bars of specified grades all dia bars conforming to IS:1786. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor ISI Mark only

Providing 15mm thick plastering using Readymix internal plastering compound of approved quality for internal faces of brickwork/ concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed at site by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing and applying white cement based wall putty of approved quality over concrete or Plastered surface up to 3mm thick to get uniform surfacefree fro undulation including cleaning complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying one coat of cement primer of approved brand on wall surface to receive specified paint including scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing and treating the OLD surface using ANTI-FUNGAL treatment in the following operations: (i) entire old paint to be scrapped out, (ii) The neeru / cement punning to be removed by chipping completely, (iii) one coat of Antifungal chemical having high degree of Santroprite (Sodium Chloro Penta Chlorophenate with diluant & additives) to be applied, (iv) entire surface to be finished with White cement based Wall putty of approved make to get uniform undulation free surface; complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes: 1. Old paint will be removed thoroughly either mechanically or by wire brush before application of primer and paint coats and cost of which shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 2. Providing, applying one coat of primer with ready mixed red oxide primer of approved brand and manufacturer on steel works including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete; as per specification & as directed by the Engineer -in -charge.

Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on Steel Surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade without primer coat. Including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete.as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing and applying one coat of primer with ready mixed pink or grey or white wood primer of approved brand and manufacture on woodwork (hard and softwood) including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete; as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing and painting over wooden surfaces with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacturer of required colour to give an even shade wih two coats on new work excluding wood primer including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- charge.

Providing and applying French spirit polishing for wooden sufaces with two coats on new works including a coat of wood filler to form a uniform neat finish as directed by the Engineer -in-charge and / or as per the specifications complete as directed by the Engieer-in-charge

Removing the damaged PVC Flooring carefully including removing the resins sticking on the floor, cleaning the floor carefully stacking the serviceable materials at places shown and disposing the unserviceable materials within 50 m lead at places shown complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and Fixing Homogeneous 2.00 mm thick PVC sheet / tile in flooring and skirting of approved make in approved pattern on a smooth and damp proof base using rubber based adhesive of approved quality and manufacturer including, levelling small undulations with plasterof paris if required , rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 kg all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge in approved colour and shade

Supply of manpower for carrying out shifting and re-arragement works of furnitures, equipmets, instruments etc. with necessary safety precautions and also seasonable departmental work alloted by the Engineer -in -charge . Note : 1. The contrcator shall deploy each unskilled manpower for 8 1/2 hours per day with 30 minutres of break, in General (Ist/ IInd) or on Round the clock shift whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer in-charge during the contract period. 2. Personal protective equipments(PPEs) for labours shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost.

Providing and fixing 6 mm thick e-board in panelling, masking, fixed in aluminium doors, windows, shutters and partition frames with C.P Brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of Engineer-in-charge

Dismantling brick work in Cement mortar carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of materials and dispoal of unserviceable materials within 100 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H- frames with cup lock type on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding

Provding and constructing brick work in Cement mortar using standard bricks of approved class/ quality, brand in foundation and plinth including curing, raking out joints, simultaneous pointing below plinth level if specified, complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Brick work in C.M 1:4 using crushed sand.

Dismantling Aluminium / Gypsum partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable surplaus material and stacking of serviceable materials within 100 m lead as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing , supplying and fixing Venition Vertical Blinds / Curtains of approved make and quality with all accessories and fabricating to required sizes etc as per approved design and approved Fabric complete all as directed by the Project Engineer

Carrying out Data Entry operations and assisting departmental Officer / Engineers, preparation of monthly and quarterly statements, dispatching and delivering documents/file movement and maintaining registers and documents, checking/preparation of agreements etc. as instructed by Engineer-In-charge. Notes: (1) Qualification: Each job shall be carried out by one data entry operator having minimum HSC pass (12th Standard) with complete knowedge of computer (like MS office, etc.) and should also be well conversant in English and Hindi language. (2) Deployment : The contractor shall deploy one Data entry operator for each job as Single Day work for 6 working days per week for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per day as directed by Engineer-in -Charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Data entry operator exclusively for the particular job. (5) The Data entry operator should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Data entry operator will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of Data entry operator is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1,276/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.

Providing and applying two coats of Solvent Based Fluorescent Paints, based on Synthetic Alkyds, Florescent Pigments & Special additives, over a coat of solvent based cement primer and one top coat of solvent based clear varnish including surface preparation like cleaning the surface with a hose pipe to remove loose dust,oil,grease, any other impurities etc complete as per manufacturers specifications and as directed at site by Engineer -in -charge. Following are the physical properties of the Solvent Based Fluorescent Paints: Finish : Smooth & Matt. Form : Thixotrophic Theoretical Coverage: 130 sq.ft. @ 35 micron DFT. Providing & supplying of Pick-up Van / Utility Van for various areas for the requirements arising from time to time inside and outside BARC. The Pick-up Van / Utility Van of minimum five seaters capacity with the back side provision for transporting/ shifting of various construction / maintenance materials, machinaries and tools etc. and for other works including Driver as assigned and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (8Hrs. a day or 60 km max as per certification of Engineer-in-Charge). Conditions : 1. The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked inside BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 6. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, including Goods & Service taxes (GST). 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a compensation of Rs. 3000 /- per week, for not providing the service, will be levied on the contractor for that week.

Providing and fixing anodized aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS 733 and IS 1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically whereever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per drawings and and directions of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of PVC / neoprene gasket required filling the gaps using silicon grout sealent etc. (fittings glazing and panelling shall be paid for separately) Anodized Aluminium sections (Minimum anodizing thickness of 15 micron)

Providing and fixing 12 mm thick cement bonded particle board, for wall partition & false ceiling conforming to IS 14276-1995, made out of approximately 62% cement, 28% wood particles (dehumidified) and balance 10% water & chemical; with washer, flange type screws etc. to claddings /flooring over existing frame work, metal framework in false ceiling etc. and as per manufacturer specification and directed by Engineer-in-charge at site. Following are the requisite technical parameters of the board: PHYSICAL PROPERTIES : Density : Minimum 1250Kg/cum Modulus of Elasticity (bending) : Minimum 3000 N /sq. mm Bending strength: Minimum 9 N /sq. mm Transverse tensile strength (perpendicular to surface): Minimum 0.4 N /sq. mm Compressive strength (perpendicular to surface): Minimum 15 N /sq. mm Moisture content : 9% + 3% at Factory Point. Surface Alkalinity pH: Between 11 and 13 Nail holding power perpendicular to surface: Minimum 200 Kgs Screw holding power perpendicular to surface: Minimum 300 Kgs Fire Resistance : The board shall have minimum 2 hours fire rating, satisfying the criteria of IS 3809:1979 Weather Resistance : There shall be no sign of disintegration on being subjected to many cycles of soaking, freezing and thawing Biological Proiperties: The board shall be resistant to termite and vermin attack. It shall not support fungus growth. Sound Insulation : The board shall provide minimum sound reduction of 32dB for the frequency range 100-3150 Hz. Chemical Stability: The board shall be chemically stable building material which maintains its strength with time and exposure to elements. It shall be unaffected by many dilute chemicals such as brines, bleaches, detergents and chlorine solutions. Dimensionally Stability : The maximum swelling in thickness of the board after 2 hours of immersion in water shall be less than or equal to 1% and after 24 hours immersion shall be less than or equal 1.5%. The maximum longitudinal and transverse swelling shall be less than or equal to approximately 0.3% for change in relative humidity of air from 30% to 95% at 20 degree Celsius. Durability:The board shall suffer insignificant deterioration when exposed to extreme climatic conditions.It shall withstand any temperatures from – 40 degree Celsius to 90 degree Celsius. It shall not contains any hazardous material like Asbestos or Formaldehyde. Wood Workability : The board shall be capable of drilling, sawing and planable with normal wood working tools. Smooth Surface : The board shall have a smooth finish and can be finished with Laminates, foils and paints using Alkaline-resisting adhesives, primers and paints. Colour can be light grey or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Aluminium required for framework & joint covering will be measured and paid under relevant Item of this schedule. Only the actual covered area of the cement bonded particle board will be measured and paid under this item.
