Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel engine driven Generating set, self excited, self regulated, brushless AC generator of Capacity 400 KVA / 320 KW, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 0.8 power factor, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, with silencer pipe ( acoustic enclosure) protected with asbetos rope independently supported from engine to outside power house up to 1 mtr, AVM pads, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) foundation as per manufacturer design, battery start with suitable cable for connection up to panel board . The DG Set will be capable of operating in Temp range of (-) 35 degree centigrade to (+) 35 degree centigrade at an altitude of 4250 metre above MSL complete with and including the following:-

ALTERNATOR : Alternator rating 400 KVA(320 KW), 3 phase, 50 cycles, 415 volt, 4 wire supply at NTP , 0.8 power factor, running @ 1500 RPM self excited, self regulated, mounted on a strong fabricated steel frame, suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation 4 wire, 415 Volts,50 cycles, 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulated, mounted on a strong fabricated steel frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation to be coupled with above engine. The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation within ± 3% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS 2613/ 5000 or IS 1722 along with self regulated AVR system. Make : Kirloskar/cummins.

DIESEL ENGINE : Vertical diesel engine of suitable capacity, naturally air cooled, closed circuit as per BS-649 or IS-1002 direct injuction type turbo charged Make : Cummins India Ltd/Kirloskar/Greaves/Ashok Layland/Ruston/ Mahindra Powerol/ Caterpillar Electric starting system having rated speed 1500 RPM. The DG set Shall be capable for running 24 hrs continuously with 10% over loading for one hour in every 12 hours as per BS-5514/BS-649. Engine shall be multi cylinder, multi stroke, direct injection, cold starting and equipped with all standard fitting as per manufacture's recommendations and mounted on common base frame with following fittings for Make of Diesel Engine : Cummins /Kirloskar.

(a) Fly wheel with housing (i) Common base frame of sturdy design suitable for anti vibration mounting and permanent concrete foundation for mounting engine and alternator as per manufacturer's instructions (b)Cooling system Naturally water cooled type (Use DAFC 50%) (c) FUEL SYSTEM : Fuel injection system with fuel injector, fuel injector pump/governer electronic type fuel filter and fuel hose. (d) LUB OIL SYSTEM : Lub oil pump,Electric motor driven and lub oil filter. (e) AIR INTAKE SYSTEM : Air intake manifold and air cleaner dry type. (f)GOVERNER : Electronic Governer.

(g) ELECTRIC STARTING SYSTEM : Electric Self starter , 24 volts DC battery (12 volt, 180 AH battery 2 No) charging alternator with regulator battery as per manufacturer's design, copper leads with lugs of adequate size complete with initial charging fly wheel ring and start and stop push button. Battery:- 1 No maintenance free battery 12 volts 180 AH capacity complete with copper conductor multistranded leads to suitable length from self starter to the battery terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified. (h) Safe Controls Engine low lub oil pressure ,high water temp, over speeding of engine and battery charging voltage display.

j) GENERATOR MONITORING PANEL : Comprising of following :- (i) Microprocessor based genset controller for metering, monitoring, governing and protection. (ii) Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shutdown) (iii) Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current, under frequency, over frequency (alarm & shut down)

(k) ACCESSORIES: AVM Pads built or separately mounted to manufacturer base frames. (l) COUPLING ARRANGEMENTS: Fixed coupling, flywheel to suit fixed coupling and fly wheel housing. (m) EXHAUST SYSTEM : Silencer complete with exhaust pipe of suitable size upto and out side the building all covered with asbetos rope of suitable size all as directed. (n) FUEL TANK: Daily service fuel tank of capacity suitable for 8 hours continuous operation made out of 3 mm thick (heat retardant) sheet top and bottom with caliberated level indicating arrangement, stop cock, drain plug, fuel pump of suitable capacity and connected pipe line should be installed with in built tank inside the acoustic enclosures inclusive of the cost of DG set and is as per manufacturer design.

(o) . ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions, with the following features:- (i) Custom built product for various Equipments, which ensure the optimum performance. (ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site. (iii) 16 SWG (1.6 mm) thick CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets. (iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action.

(v) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder / epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. (vi) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficiently. (vii) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to used. (viii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs. (ix) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement. (x) A see through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to provided for monitoring the operation. (xi) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided. (xii) Deliverables. 75 dBA @ 1 mtr at full load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within as per manufacturer’s recommendations above ambient temp. (xiii) The enclosure should be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination.

(xiv) The battery should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable insulated plat form. (xv) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. (xvi) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pretreatment process. The powder coating shade should be as per manufacture's design. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. Make for ACCOUSTIC PANEL:- DG SET OEM Make of DG Set: - Auth OEM OF CUMMINS /KIRLOSKAR.

The following items are deemed to be included in the rate quoted for all DG sets:- (i) DHPP for testing purpose shall be supplied by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (ii) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load (water load) for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer. (iii) Testing of sound level should carried out at the site in presence of GE or a person as authorised by him. (iv) One year Maint Spare as per manufacturer's maint schedule and as directed by Engr-in-Charge is deemed to be included in the above offer. (v) One set of latest Spare part catelogue with price, exploded view of parts and user's manuel are deemed to be included in the offer.

(P) Civil Works:- All civil works including PCC plat form type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) and related to foundations including of panel and Equipments including making good of existing disturbed surfaces during installation and commissioning of genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300mm with anti-vibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer including chainlink fencing with Gate for operation of DG Set.

Excavating in trenches, n exc1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out and laying electric cable /LT Polesand getting out in hard and dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item Srl item No 2.00 above for each additional 1.5 m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Cement concrete PCC Type D-2 1:4:8(40 mm graded aggregate) in foundations,filling and mass concrete

M&L for walling of randowm rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement mortar 1:6 complete all as spd & directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm, As specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point As specified and directed.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry Type C-1 (1:3:6) 20 mm graded aggregate with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete in CM 1:4 and finishing the surfaces even and smooth (without using extra cement) as specified and directed.

M&L 75 mm thick Cement concrete type B- 2, 1:4:8 (40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base as specified and directed.

M&L for 40mm thick Cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as top layer finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth using extra cement as specified and directed.

M&L for colour Glazed ceramic tiles in vertical surface 300x 200x 7 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match over and including 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 as specified and directed.

M & L for coloured non-skid ceramic tiles 400x400x7 mm thick in flooring set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in cloured cement to match the shade of tiles over and including 15 mm thick cement mortar screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surface and applying two coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for 0.63mm thick galvanised corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugations side lap fixed with L-type or J-type cranked hook bolts in lieu of screws in roofs, walls etc with grade of zinc coating 275 gm/sqm complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for two coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint on steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described including preparing new zinc(or galvanised) surfaces to receive painting by coating with mordant solution incl washing and cleaning, etc. over a coat of red oxide complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated wooden surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as spd.

Surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for hardcore of gauge n. exc 63mm deposited spread and levelled in layers not exc 15cm thick watered and rammed to a true surface with brick stone boulders complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F 2nd class hardwood , plain, solid, straight chowkats andframes, wrought , framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints & fixing with shutter, etc complete all spd & directed.

S&F 2 class clean swan timber hardwood in scantling fixed as specified and directed.

M&L 30mm thick second class hard wood plain framed paneled shutters (any number of panels) with panels of timber flat on both sides (feather edged ), or of veneered particle board medium density wood particle board with commercial face veneers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F 4 mm thick sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square n.exc 0.5 sqm in each pane complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
