Charges for rack out the L.T modules from the panel –Removing from its position –Removal of coal dust deposited over all electrical components such as power contactors, auxiliary contactors , fuse switch , control fuse holders, CT ammeter, selector switch , indicating lamp holders control transformer , power and control wiring and etc., by using blower / vacuum cleaner / cleaning brush. Removing the power contactors arc chute, auxiliary contactor top cover and cleaning the carbon deposition over the fixed and moving contacts by using good quality electrical contact cleaner (molykote) Tightness checking of all bolts and nuts, of power and control wiring with components. Reassembling the contactor arc chute and top covers in the respective places – After completion of work check the IR values of wirings and racked in the L.T modules to the panel and put into service position and check the operating condition of the module. Including assistance for shift operator round the clock in shift duty in the locations 6.6kV Switch Gear of Unit III.. (Incl T&P and consumables) a) Size 3modules 30KW and above (Total 34 nos.)
