Material & labour for gently cleaning the surface of the stone masonry and piers in building/jetty/dock above sea water level with specialized water misting techniques employing air water jet using a fine nozzle sprinkling system calibrated to spray a fine mist along the stone surface, without over wetting, followed up by gentle brushing with soft nylon brushes as specified. Gentle surface cleaning may include using water misting and mild pH balanced surfactants as specified for indicated areas to remove surface dirt, grit, surface accretions, lime wash etc by means of water misting and pH balanced surfactants and cleaning as directed by Engineer - in- Charge.

Material & labour for raking out cement pointing or any other hard material used and careful repointing and repairs to be carried on the damaged pointing of stone masonary in jetty/dock above sea water level by using RENDROC SP 40 in FOSROC or equivalent in Sika and others suitable for marine environment and submerged condition. The contractor to ensure use of masking tape and sharp specialized spatula and tools to ensure clear lines and high level of workmanship on site all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for cleaning all loose laitance, algae fungal, foreign material and application of transperent protective paint Nitocote SN 522(transparent) in Fosroc or equivalent in Sika and others with similar properties suitable for stone masonary in marine and submerged condition as per the manufactures instruction all as specified & directed. Note: - FOr Item Ser No 1 to 3 :- (a) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of removing vegetation, sea growth on surface of stone wall surfaces. (b) Rate should be inclusive of necessary arranegemnt of scaffolding or otherwise while carrying out work above sea water level.If there is requirement of small private boat for carrying out the work, same should be arranged by contractor. (c)- Necessary safety precautions as per safety norms like helmet, shoes, life jacket must be ensured by contractor with in the quoted rates. (d) Work should be executed as per manufacturer instructions and in presence of company rep.

Material and labour for applying two coats of PU paint of primer DEKGUARD of FOSROC or equivalent over vertical concrete surface in jetty/dry dock above sea level all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note:- Quoted rate shall be inclusive of scaffolding or alternative way of carrying out the work with proper safety instruction required at site.

M&L for 2mm thick thermoplastic paint in letter writing, line, Nos, Dashes, Arrow etc all as per manufacturer's instruction and all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old wooden/concrete surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old steel surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation and applying one coat of floor/Roof paint (Make-Indigo Floor paint or equivalant as approved by GE). All as specified and directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40 sq. cm and over in section, in any position in unframed work.

S & F 1st class hardwood (TEAK WOOD) any size upto( 5000 mm x300mmx150 to 300mm) Plain, solid, straight, rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered segmental supplied and fixed with nut bolt fastner including two coat of synthetic enemel paint over a coat of pink primer all as directed by Engineer in Charge.. Note Sample kept in GE (NW) Kunjali.

Demolition of plain cement concrete of any description and in any position not other wise speifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for ready mix cement concrete in Pavement/Hard standing (PQC) M-40 of flexural strength of 40Kg/Square centimetre in field using minimum 400 Kg of cement per cubic metre laid in bays or as directed with and including steel formwork to sides of concrete spread including necessary recron as per manufacturer instruction (Make : Reliance or equivalent) , compacted and finished in a continuous operation etc all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material & debries exc. 1.50 Km but n exc. 25 Km and depositing where directed.

Supply and applying microconcrete of Fosroc, Dr Fixit, or equivalent around edges of Dock walls, jetties, corners, grooves, alters, steps, piers and other marine structure after complete cleaning of concrete/stone surface and applying epoxy coat as bonding agent Fosroc's Nitobond or equavalent for bonding between old and new surface, including all lifts, shuttering all as required as per site condition and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
