Piyala LPG Bottling Plant is having an 8 nos. tank lorry gantry for loading and unloading of bulk tank lorries. This gantry is having individual double earthing mechanism available on each bay. Earthing connections are provided on each tank lorry at two points one at chassis and one at body of the tank lorry before starting of the loading or unloading operation. But there is no interlock available for this earthing system. The system will not stop the loading or unloading operation even if the earthing connections are not properly made or not made at all. Tank lorry gantry needs to be provided with earthing interlocking such that the tank lorry loading or unloading operation does not take place without proper earthing of all tank lorries. ok
