Canal Strengthening and Protection work between KM-108.660 to 115.00 OL-50 and MR-51 of Chandil Left Main Canal

Clearing and Grubbing Road land (Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetating ,Grass,bushes shrubs,sapling and tree girth up to 300 mm removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness (i) by Manual means (A) in area of light jungle Corr. Part-A 2.03 (i) common item of works.

Earth work in filling in canal banks (Canal discharge up to 28 cumecs ) as well as special repair of canal banks in ordinary soil in proper profile obtained from borrow area or any other sources free from logs, roots,or any other ingredients etc. with initial lead of 15 M and initial lift of 1.5 M inclding bearing clods to maximum 50 mm cubes placing the earth in layers not exding 225 mm thick complete as per specification and direction of E/I. (Lead beyond 0.5km upto 1km).

E/W in excavation of foundation in tranches in ordineary soil (Vide classification of soil item- A) and disposal of excavated earth so obtained to a distance up to 50 Mand average lift of 1.5 M including levelling raimaing the foundation tranches removing the roots or shrubs etc.all complete as per specification and direction of E/I

Watering and consolidation of earth laid in 150mm to 225mm layer by manual labour with C.I. hammer to achive minimum 85% of maximum dry density including supply of water and necessary tools and plants with leads and lifts all comlete job as per specification of E/I.

Providing compacted 75 mm thick sand filter of required F.M. as per design on side slopes and in bed of canal with coarse sand,including the cost of watering, ramming ,levelling and dressing etc.all complete as per specification and direction E/I.

Supplying and laying hession cloth (0.3 Kg/M2 cot) as per specification and direction of E/I

Providing brick flat soling with designation 75A bricks , joints filled with coarse sand of approved quality including royalty and all taxes , all complete job as per specification and direction of E/I.(WRD PART-B 7.7.14)

Providing 100 mm thick P.C.C.lining in M-100 with nominal mix of (1:3:6) well graded stone chips (20mm and down) and coarse sand of approved quality of requisite F.M. (2.5 to 3.0) in side and bottom curved portion of the canal in panel with construction joint including cost of form work and its removal,curing,royalty and all other taxes etc.all comlete job as per specification and direction of E/I.

Providing 100 mm thick P.C.C. or R.C.C in M-150 with nominal mix of (1:2:4) well graded stone chips (20mm and down) and coarse sand of approved quality of requisite F.M. (2.5 to 3.0) in side and bottom curved portion of the canal in panel with construction joint including cost of form work and its removal,curing,royalty and all other taxes etc.all comlete job as per specification and direction of E/I.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering- All work up to plinth level :-- 1:3:6 (1 Cement 3 coarse sand (zone-III) : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nomainal size).
