Demolition Brick work built in Cement Mortar and in any Position including all Quoins, Arches and Pillars, etc. And removal of debris from site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Brick Work with Fly-Ash Bricks (Old Size Bricks), Straight or Curved on Plan exc. 6.0 Metre mean Radius, built in Cement Mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Brick work using Serviceable Bricks obtained from Item No. 16 here-in-before including removing old Mortar, Straight or Curved on Plan exc. 6.0 Metre mean Radius, built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed.

Raking out joints/pointing to brick walls of drains built in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for flush pointing in cement mortar 1:4 to brick walls in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster from brick or concrete surfaces of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and removal of debris outside AF land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering, 15mm thick, in cement mortar 1:4 on Brick Walls or on Concrete Surfaces, Plastered Surfaces finished Even and Smooth without using Extra Cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone agg) as in coping incl necessary form work finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement Concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in surface channel and drains, innser surface of drain finished even and smooth without using extra cement including demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for including removal of debris from site and diposed off outside AF land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removal of accumulated silt/soil (depth of silt/soil n. exc 50cm) alongwith grass/bushes if any, from the beds of R/way/PTT side open drains (depth of drain up to 1.5 m), girth of drain bed not exceeding 1.50 m, getting out including removal of excavated material from the sides of drain to outside Air Force premises and disposed off as per Municipal Corporation/State Govt regulations complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Depth of silt/soil only shall be measured for payment. Rates of removal of grass/shrubs/vegetation etc from drain are included in the item and no extra depth shall be measured for the height of grass/shrubs/vegetation removed.

All as per item No. 10 here-in-before but for depth of drain exceeding 1.5m and n. exc 3.0m

M&L for removal of accumulated silt/soil (depth of silt/soil n. exc 50cm) along with roots of grass/bushes if any from the beds of R/way/PTT side drains (depth of drain up to 1.5 m) covered with RCC Drain Cover, girth of drain bed not exceeding 1.50 m, getting out including removal of excavated material from the sides of drain to outside Air Force premises and disposed off as per Municipal Corporation/State Govt regulations complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) Rate of Removing & re-fixing of RCC drain cover are included in the item as mentioned. (b) Hydra/Crane/JCB or any other arrangement shall be used for safely removal & refixing RCC Drain covers to avoid any damage to the drain and covers and the rates are also included in the item. No claim shall be admissible in this regard. (c) Depth of silt/soil only shall be measured for payment. Rates of removal of grass/shrubs/vegetation etc from drain are included in the item and no extra depth shall be measured for the height of grass/shrubs/vegetation removed.

All as per item No. 12 here-in-before but depth of covered drain exceeding 1.5m and n. exc. 3.0m

M&L for removal of accumulated silt/soil (depth of silt/soil not exceeding 100 cm) along with grass/bushes if any from the beds of Recharge Pits/ manhole/ sump, of any size and depth not exceeding 1.50 m, getting out including removal of excavated material from the sides of drain to outside Air Force premises and disposed off as per Municipal Corporation/State Govt regulations complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Depth of silt/soil only shall be measured for payment. Rates of removal of grass/shrubs/vegetation etc from drain are included in the item and no extra depth shall be measured for the height of grass/shrubs/vegetation removed.

All as per item No. 14 here-in-before but depth of recharge pit/manhole/sump exceeding 1.5m and n. exc 3.0m

S&F in repair polycarbonate sheet of thickness not less than 2mm, pasted with self adhesive reflective tape/sheet background of approved colour/tint, fixed with brass screws on existing Cautionary/Sign boards of air field complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the cost of self adhesive background sheet alongwith the polycarbonate sheet. Alphabets / Numbers / letters etc shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F self adhesive reflective tape background of approved colour/tint including taking down of existing self adhesive reflective tape/ sheet background including alphabets / numbers / letters from existing polycarbonate sheets of DTGM/Cautionary boards/Sign boards etc including prepartion of surfaces, removal of old adhesive etc prior to pasting new sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge Note : Alphabets / Numbers / letters shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F self adhesive retro reflective tape/ sheet laminate with 50 micron transparent PVC lamination, cut to size & shape for alphabets / numbers / letters etc and pasted on DTGM/Cautionary boards/Sign boards including preparation of surfaces prior to pasting new letters etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge Note : Area of retro reflective sheet shall be measured based on the actual length/width and height of letters cut from square / rectangular sheet and area of lamination sheet shall be same as the area of retro reflective sheet.

S&F new sign board & frame including dismantling of existing signboard & frame, of size exc 0.36 Sqm and n. exc 0.81Sqm as per following specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) Main frame for sign board shall be made of aluminium square / rectangular hollow section, of size not less than 38.10mm x 38.10mm x 1.20mm. (b) 2mm thick polycarbonate sheet of size exc 0.36 Sqm and n. exc 0.81Sqm fixed with brass screws on both sides of aluminium frame. (c) Bottom side of Board shall be fixed at a minimum height of 300 mm above ground level or as per users requirement. (d) The legs of sign board frame shall be fixed minimum 300 mm below ground level with and including PCC 1:4:8, type D1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate of size 300x300x450mm. (e) The numbers/letters/digit/sign/lines/arrows, etc. made of retro reflective tape having reflective tape background shall be fixed over Polycarbonate sheet of approved colour as per existing provisions. Note : Before procurement/ supply, sample of board shall be produced by the contractor for approval of GE.

All as per item No. 19 here-in-before but for sign board of size exc 0.36Sqm and n. exc 0.81 Sqm, fixed with 2 mm thick polycarbonate sheet on only one side of aluminium frame.

S&F new sign board with frame including dismantling of existing signboard & frame, of size exc 0.81 Sqm and n. exc 1.50Sqm as per following specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) Main frame for sign board shall be made of aluminium square / rectangular hollow section not less than 63.50m x 38.10mm x 1.2mm. (b) 2 mm thick polycarbonate sheet of size exc 0.81Sqm and n. exc 1.50 Sqm fixed with brass screws on both sides of aluminium frame. (c) Bottom side of Board shall be fixed at a minimum height of 450 mm above ground level or as per users requirement. (d) The legs of sign board frame shall be fixed minimum 300 mm below ground level with and including PCC 1:4:8, type D1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate of size 300x300x450mm. (e) The numbers/letters/digit/sign/lines/arrows, etc. made of retro reflective tape having reflective tape background shall be fixed over Polycarbonate sheet of approved colour as per existing provisions. Note : Before procurement/ supply, sample of board shall be produced by the contractor for approval of GE.

All as per item No. 21 here-in-before but for sign board of size exc 0.81Sqm and n. exc 1.50 Sqm, fixed with 2 mm thick polycarbonate sheet on only one side of aluminium frame.

S&F new glow sign board & frame including dismantling of existing signboard & frame, of size exc 0.36 Sqm and n. exc 0.81 Sqm as per following specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) Main frame for sign board shall be made of aluminium square/rectangular section (63.50 mm x 38.10 mm). (b) 3 mm thick transparent perspex sheet of size exc 0.36Sqm and n. exc 0.81Sqm fixed with brass screws on both sides of frame. (c) Bottom side of Board shall be fixed at a minimum height of 450 mm above ground level. (d) The legs of sign board frame shall be fixed minimum 300 mm below ground level with and including PCC 1:4:8, type D1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate of size 300x300x450mm. (e) The numbers/letters/digit/sign/lines/arrows, etc. made of retro reflective tape having reflective tape background shall be fixed over transparent perpex sheet as per existing provisions. (f) The board shall have suitable lighting arrangement (incl all light/ electrical fittings, bulbs, LEDs, etc alongwith suitable copper wire 15mtr long (from outside the board) for necessary electric connections to glow both sides of the board to see both side markings. (e) The gap between both sides of sheet shall not be less than 30 cm and the gap shall be covered with 1mm thick Aluminium sheet all around the aluminium frame. Note : Before procurement/ supply, sample of board shall be produced by the contractor for approval of GE. The box frame shall be properly designed to provide protection from water ingress during rains.
