REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE OTM ACCN OF AGE B/R II UNDER GE NARANGI

Material and labour for repair to potholes, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by filling in screened & graded road metals, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metals) complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm complete all as specified and directed

Materials and labour for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) of lime/sand stone spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 3.00 above but except stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminuos primer of grade VG-10 (Paving bitumen) @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminuos primer of grade VG-10 (Paving bitumen) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) binder content any penetration by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as per design mix. Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as 5.5 %. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs. 68.00 per KG of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.

Material and labour for providing premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road with retroreflective thermoplastic road marking paint 3mm uniform thickness finished with glass beads (MORTH Grade) white or yellow colour not exceeding 10cm wide with the help of road marking machine including cleaning the surface thoroughly and removing all dirts, dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road with retroreflective thermoplastic road marking paint 3mm uniform thickness finished with glass beads (MORTH Grade) white or yellow colour exceeding 10cm wide with the help of road marking machine including cleaning the surface thoroughly and removing all dirts, dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair of colour reflective pavement marker (Cat Eye) of colour white/red/yellow with Micro prismatic lens in both direction having thermoplastic body with flex resistant base & abrasion resistant creamer coating and fixing on road surface with special adhesive and suitable reivet head nail complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in repair sparkle road stud of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm high with detachable battery 6 LEDs, three on each side, ultra bright LED in red colour complete water resistant and weather proof using of adhesive and fixing procedure as per manufacture's instruction complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for earth filling for road side shoulders including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30cm thick; watering, ramming/ rolling and finishing to required size, shape etc. not exceeding 1.5m high from base complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/ loose soil for cleaning of road side berms complete all as specified and directed.
