Repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1 sqm each in area including sweeping from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth but making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm (paving bitumen VG-30), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exceeding 30mm complete all as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms, finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as directed.

Applying evenly priming /tack coat with bituminous primer at 5kg/10 sq metres with (using paving bitumen VG-30) complete all as directed.

Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mixed plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical paver complete to a uniform surface complete all as directed.

Preparation of new or previously treated surfaces to receive the thermoplastic paste and marking of guide lines, dashed arrows, letters etc with reflective thermoplastic paste 2 to 2.5 mm thick using marking machine, white, golden, yellow or black colour as required using glass beads necessary for achieving reflection on roads pavements and the like as per BS 6088 complete all as directed.Note : 1. Unit rate quoted by the contractor include for provision of red signals to keep off traffic from work, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light.2. The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing any signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment until the desired result is obtained.

Demolition of cement concrete(Un reinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cm thick (below or above ground level) complete all as directed.

Precast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in edge stone fixed in cement mortar 1:6 along road of minimum size 20cmx10cmx25cm including necessary earth work in hard and dense soil (including removal of surplus soil) complete all as directed.

Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate)100mm thick as in sub base complete all as directed.

Sand cushioning 50mm thick for laying of interlocking tiles complete all as directed. (Note: Punned / compacted thickness shall be measured for payment purpose).

Machine pressed (rubber mould) coloured precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, of M-35 grade with grey cement and pigment fixed over 50mm thick sand cushioning complete all as directed. (sand cushioning will be measured and paid under relevant items)
