BRICK WORK

Material and labour for brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

STEEL AND IRON WORK

Material and labour for mild steel work for bands, straps, supports or stays for eves gutter, rain water, ventilating pipes including bolts/welding if required, hooks(stay) and similar articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for rolled,.mild steel sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors, fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates conforming to Fe 410 w (Gde E 250) quality A complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel work as in wind ties, hold fasts and brackets for holding boarding and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel (machine made) screw bolts with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed other or screwed both ends, fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut not exceeding 5 cm long, dia of neck exceeding 11 mm but not exceeding 15 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

ROOF COVERING WORK

Supply and fix grey colour pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick, multirib TM profile and having tensile strength of 550 Mpa and having pitch of 250mm centre to centre and 28mm minimum crest depth as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including providing crimps at eaves level/edges level shape of crimp (end /reversed) complete all as specified and directed. Note : The quoted rate shall include provision of end flashings.

Supply and fix plain, galvanised, mild steel sheeting 0.80mm thick, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix plain, black, mild steel sheeting 3mm thick, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) including cutting, bending to required shape and welding, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix poly carbonate translucent corrugated sheeting 3mm thick with two corrugation side laps, fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook and bolts in roofing/wall cladding etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cast iron rainwater socketed pipes 150mm dia, with cement joints, with ears, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Roof turbo ventilator coloured (Approx, weight 6.0 Kg) with throat 21"/24" with 120mm, 304grade stainless steel bottom neck, mddle outer dia 28", aluminium fins mounted on stainless steel ring with aluminium pop rivet (width 70mm after 5mm bending, length 435mm) 36 Nos, top neck dia 21" with 0.5mm thick stainless steel top cover, galvanised iron shaft assembly, complete with 1200mm x 1100mm, 2mm thick corrugated/semi-corrugated coloured translucent fibre glass reinforced sheet with 650mm height dome, matching of corrugation with galvalume sheet or any type of sheet, complete with all accessories and tools for fitting on hanger roof at approximately 10metre height with self tapping screw or L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolt and washer or all necessary fixing arrangement, complete all as specified and directed. PLASTERING AND POINTING WORK

Taking down cement plaster of any description from brick, concrete or stone walls including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., and removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with using water proof compound (WPC) @ 3% by weight of cement, finished even and smooth with out using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note: WPC will be measured and paid separately under supply only item.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on other than fair faces of brick work or stone masonry surfaces, finished even and smooth with out using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

WHITE WASHING, COLOUR WASHING AND DISTEMPERING WORK

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment from old wall surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

GLAZING WORK

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden/steel frames or stone, concrete or brick surrounds, glazed with putty or fixed with beads, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix rough cast wired glass, 6.4mm thick and glazing with oil putty in square not exceeding 0.5sq.m in each pane, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix sheet glass, 3mm thick, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in squares not exceeding 0.5sq.m in each pane, complete all as specified and as directed.

PAINTING WORK

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint at any height, complete all as specified and directed.

DEMOLITION AND DISMANTLING WORK

Dismantling single layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing including ridge tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling battens for tiles, shingles etc, of any size including tilting fillets spaced exceeding 15cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings as in fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlins etc., under 40square centimeter in section, in any position, unframed work complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling boarding of any description, fixed in any position with nails, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40square centimeter and over in section, in any position, unframed work complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (Un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes, 150mm internal dia of pipe, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required complete all as specified and as directed.

INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION

Taking down existing copper/aluminum point wiring (light/ fan/ socket or power points) complete including (fittings such as switches, bell push, ceiling roses, pendents, regulators, sockets etc including wooden battens /casing /capping and conduit etc, and making good disturbed surface of walls, ceilings and floors etc. complete all as specified & as directed.

Material and labour for point wiring with two single core, PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi-stranded bright annealed copper conductor cable, 1.5 Sqmm size, 1100 volts, FRLS grade and one run of PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi-stranded bright annealed copper conductor cable, 1.5 Sqmm size, 1100 volts, FRLS grade as earth wire, drawn in & including heavy duty PVC casing and capping size not less than 25mm width as per IS with all fittings such as bends, tee, junction boxes, etc surface mounted on walls, ceilings etc., on and including PVC box and plate for mounting swiches, sockets, regulators etc., and connected to earth dolly for one light / fan point controlled by one switch complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix DOL starter suitable for 3 phase exhaust fan MK1 relay range 11-18 Amps, 415 volts, 50Hz, including laminated / fibre sheet of 3mm thick in required size including necessary fixing MS screws, nuts, washers etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for air termination, single pointed, aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long, fixed with aluminium strip clamping with wire, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for aluminium strip 25x3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors isolated from building above ground level fixed on walls/roof with all neccesary fixing arrangements including, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled and screwed including, 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC block of size 150x150x150mm in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregte) for fixing on roof conductor / air terminal rod / Aluminium strip/ GI pipe etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick,buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level,connected to galvanised iron strip 25x4mm as earth lead by means of bolts,nuts ,washer and check nut of galvanized steel, protected by and including GI pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) and connected to main switch / MCB DBs box point / LP test point as directed and including cement concrete pit in 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate, with cast iron milled steel frame embedded in the concrete enclosure finished flushed & CI cover 10 mm thick of size (300mmx300mm CI) having locking arrangement hinged to CI frame all as shown under electrical plate no 3 of SSR Pt - I 2009 including painting the external surface of chamber & cover with enamel paint in different colour as directed and writting earth results

and date of test carried out with white paint on black painted background, wiremesh funnel 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering adequate quantity of charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm 3ft x 3ft thick all around the electrode including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil/strata complete testing on completion complete all as speccified and as directed. NOTES :- (a) Quantity of GI strip/ protection pipe beyond 7.5mtrs length shall be measured and paid separately. (b)Rates quoted are deemed to be included with:- (i) Filling the pit with black cotton soil brought at site from outside of defence land. (ii) Testing on completion & achieving resistance less than 03 ohm & submitting report to Engineer-in-charge duly signed by user in every month after successful completion of earthing during contract period & defect liability period.

Note: The amount against Schedule of Credit on Page No. 37 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Schedule 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance as mentioned on Grand Summary.
