Maintenance and operation of 02 (two) Nos of sewage submersible monoblock non clog pump set of 7.5 HP Capacity and 01 (One) No of self priming 3 phase motor coupled sewage pump set of capacity 10 Hp (7.5 KW) located at south camp sewage collection tank area by engaging one qualified FGM (Pump operator, semi-skilled) in a each Shift of eight hours on all days including Sundays and Holidays with required tools for carrying out necessary operation of equipments/installations including cleaning, greasing, checking and tightening of bolts and nuts and provision of all sundry materials like cotton waste, grease, etc. all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) Work to be carried out in 02 (two) shifts 06.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs and 14.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs. (b) Pump house and its surrounding area to be kept clean every day. (c) The weeds and grass in the pump house area shall be removed periodically as per Engineer in charge

Maintenance and operation of MES Electrical complaint cell at north camp of out sourcing the services for manning the complaint cell registering and attending the complaints for the day to day maintenance in a shift of Eight Hours on all days including sundays and Holidays by engaging one Experienced Electrician per shift all as specified and directed. Note:- Work to be carried out in two shifts of 8 hours from 06.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs and 14.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs. (a) The Electrician shall be capable to operate the HT/LT circuit breakers / switches as and when required and will be attending emergency complaints as per the direction of Engr-in-charge. The contractor shall arrange necessary tools to the electricians for attending complaints. (b) Necessary daily complaints of the North, south and mutga camp station complaint registers shall be maintained by the Electrician. The printed complaint registers and other necessary stationary items shall be made availiable by the contractor.

Manning and operation of stand by DG Set during failure of electricity or in event of low voltage of capacity 75 KVA & 30 KVA, 415V, 50 cycles, 1500 RPM with control panel installed at Air Force station Sambra signal section (South Camp) in a shift of Eight Hours on all days including sundays and Holidays by engaging one Experienced FGM per shift. Note:- Work to be carried out in three shifts of 8 hours from 06.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs, 14.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs to 06.00 hrs. (a) FGM shall be capable to operate the DG set, Electrical panels and all machinery installed. He shall keep the installation clean & tidy including surrounding area of the buildings. Necessary tools required for regular maintenance of DG set shall be provided by the contractor. (b) Necessary daily log sheets shall be maintained by recording all parameters and printed log sheet, register and other stationary items will be provided by the contractor. (c ) DHPP ‘N’ will be provided by the department free of cost. Contractor shall collect fuel from E/M store yard

Maintenance and operation of MES Electrical receiving Sub station at south camp in a shift of Eight Hours on all days including sundays and Holidays by engaging one Experienced Electrician per shift. Note:- Work to be carried out in three shifts of 8 hours from 06.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs, 14.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs to 06.00 hrs. (a) The Electrician shall be capable to operate the HT/LT circuit breakers / switches as and when required and will be attending emergency complaints as per the direction of Engr-in-charge. (b) Necessary daily log sheets of the receiving station and break down / shut down registers shall be maintained by the Electrician. The printed log sheet, registers and and other stationary items will be made available by the Contractor.

Maintenance and operation of Water treatment plant of capacity 1 MGD with 40 KVA DG set at North camp AFS Belgaum along with the under mentioned electric driven pump sets, aerators and other connected control panels with accessories, auxiliary systems controls in shift of Eight hours on all days including Sundays & Holidays by appointing ONE qualified FGM (Semi Skilled) in each shift and reliever on duty with required tool for carrying out necessary operation of equipments / installations including cleaning, greasing, checking and tightening of bolts and nuts and provision of all sundry materials like cotton waste, grease, etc. all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Work to be carried out in THREE shifts of Eight hours from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs. A) Water treatment plant consists of the following plants / equipments:- (a) Treated water collection sump of capacity 6,00,000 glns -01 No. (b) Aerator Cascade : 01 No. (c) Clarifier -01 No (d) Filter Beds - 02 Nos. (e) Back wash water collection OH tank 50,000 lts -01 No. (f) Pump house consisting 15 HP pumps - 02 Nos and 7.5 HP pumps -02 Nos. (g) Monoblock pump set of capacity 3 HP for make up the back wash storage OH tank : 2 Nos. (h) Submersible pump set of capacity 3 HP -01Nos for recycling the bed wash water

(j) Alum mixer of capacity -1 HP -03 Nos (motor with gear) (k) Clarifloculator motor with gear of various capacities - 03 Nos (l) Flash Mixer motor with gear of capacity -01HP - 01 No. (m ) DG set of capacity -40 KVA -01 No. NOTES:- a) FGM shall have ITI certificate in the trade Electrical / Mechanical with minimum 4 years experience. b) The FGM shall operate the Water Treatment Plant of capacity 1 MGD including proper mixing of alum ferric/PAC powder, beaching powder, including operation of chloronome plant etc all directed by Engr-in-Charge. c) The FGM shall also operate the booster pumps installed in water treatment plant for pumping to Pump House No. 2 , Pump house No. 3 and Mutaga Pump House. d) Necessary daily log sheets in respect of the WTP, DG set & the booster pumps shall be maintained separately by the operator on printed log sheet, log sheet shall be provided by the contractor as approved by Engineer-in-charge. The cost of printed log sheets is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. e) The main control valve of raw water installed at Muchandi Village which is 10 Km away from the WTP as and when required. Necessary transport for operating the valve at Muchandi village shall be arranged by the contractor and cost for the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. f) Daily cleaning of the clarifier track / channel, Aerator cascade and channel, filter bed etc shall be carried out.

h) Operator shall carry out the back wash cleaning of the filter bed daily or as per the requirement in accordance with the filter bed conditions/ as directed by Engineer -in - Charge. GENERAL NOTES FOR ALL ITEMS 1 to5 (a) Area cleaning etc up to 5 Mtr from the plinth protection all around the pump house and cleaning of all types of valves (butterfly valves, water monitoring valve and sluice valve) etc. (b) Cleaning of all equipments electrical and mechanical inside the pump house including cleaning of inside walls and roofs. (c) Daily check of plant as per manufactures manual before starting the machine and ensure routine maintenance as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Minimum required tools shall be made available with the operator. (e) Log sheet to be maintained regularly, in bound book from month wise as per the Performa approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (f) First Aid box including medicines shall be kept in the installations. (g) Preparation of the display charts & posters as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Any abnormality observed shall be immediately intimated to the complaint cell of MES & Engineer-in-Charge. (j) The contractor shall keep sufficient stock of following spares/stores required for the first line maintenance of installations so that the same may be available without any loss of time. The cost of stores consumed in the work is deemed to be included in the unit rate coated. (k) All types of bolts, nuts, washers, screw and other fasteners. (l) All types of gland packing, gaskets etc. (m) Lubricating materials, cotton waste, soap, torch cell etc. (n) Indicating lamps, thimbles, cables sockets, cable lugs etc.

(o) All kinds of working cable, fuse wire for connection of LT panel, insulation tape. (p) Two sets of dress per operator as approved by Department. (q) One set of safety shoe per operator. (r) One set of hand gloves. (s) Nominal hand tools required for carrying out manning and operations. (t) The deploying of operators against various installation shall be as decided by Engineer-in-Charge. Employment of each operator in every shift shall be measured and paid. (u) In case of emergency, the Engineer-in-Charge may ask the contractor to detail operators on other installations as required. The contractor should not have any objection in ordering as above. (v) In case of working on all the days of week, contractor shall provide reliever as required under labour laws. (w) The contractor is advised to insure the labour employed in the installations from any eventualities while operating the installations. (x) Payment shall be made to the employee in adherence to minimum daily fare wages issued by labour commission time to time.

Periodic quality testing on potable water as per IS 10500:2012 from a verified NABL lab. Testing will be carried out on every two months basis, Sample will be collected from Water Treatment Plant and the result obtained will be displayed on the board at WTP and a copy of result sheets obtained from NABL to be submitted to Engineer-in-charge
