SPL REPAIR OF ROAD IN GOVIND ENCLAVE AND INTERNAL ROAD OF APS UNDER GE(S) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Material and labour for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all the loose dirt etc. including removing the mud etc. to a distance minimum 1.5 mtrs from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5Kg per 10 sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanism including supplying, laying, spreading 30 mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete grading 2, maximum aggregate size 9.5 mm, with job mix formula using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using mechanical paver for levelling within the specified tolerance as specified in SSR Part-I, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 5.5% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 5.5% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 5.5%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 50/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Material and labour for Repairs to potholes not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-30), blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed, depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. . Note as per MORTH Specification: (i) Loose material and standing water shall be brushed from the area to be repaired. (ii) Potholes shall be cut to vertical sides and deepened to reach sound material . (iii) Fill the patch with the granular mix in layers of about 75mm at a time. Each layer shall be compacted with hand rammers or with small vibratory compactors. The patch shall be compacted to the correct shape. (iv)100% quantity of Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work. (v) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings

Supplying, laying and spreading upto 75mm thick or less ( consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam (BM) filling in depression grade 2 (using 19.2 mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer with using mechanical paver using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 3.4 % by weight of total mix with job mix formula, laid / rolled and compacted/ consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 3.4% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 3.4% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 3.4%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 50/- per Kg. Material & Labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, marking etc of thermoplastic paint applied Min 6 Kgs /Sqm on new surfaces or previously treated road surfaces with hot applied reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (White / Golden yellow) conforming to MORT&H (clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% Type 1 glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160˚ C including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Thermoplastic paint should be applied Minimum 6Kg/Sqm

Supply and fixing two way (dual direction) reflective road cat eye of plastic body as approved by GE of approx dimensions 100mm x 110mm x 20 mm with red / amber / white reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 12 mm dia and 120 mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cat eye complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing solar road stud having 3 LED as approved by GE of colour Red/Yellow to a side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of size 125mm x 125mm or 120mm x 130mm with built in stem of suitable length for fixing with epoxy, LEDs solar cells battery & light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet top system, workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge in 8 to 10 Hrs. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

Supply & Fixing dual direction delineator 600 mm long made of 16 gauge MS rectangular pipe of size 25mm x 68mm, pipe stove enamelled and baked to 120 degree celcius or powder coated, head made of ABS plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflector of colour (white/yellow/red) of size 100mm x 125mm with additional 2 reflective strips of 25mm wide, shade as approved by GE and fixing in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: The rate of cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm and excavation and earth work in any strata is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Material & Labour for frame work for sign board or any other structure/ position made out of stainless steel chromium plated round/ square pipes 304 grade, cut to shape including bending, welding, drilling, gusset plates and riveting with and including embeding in PCC block of size 40cm x 40cm x 50 cm in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate , excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The payment for this item shall be considered only of the weight of stainless steel chromium plated round/ square pipes 304 grade weight as ascertained by BOO as ordered by GE. (ii)The Rate of necessary accessories required at site including leg/ post embedded in PCC block of size 40cm x 40cm x 50 cm in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate , excavation and earth work is included in this item but the measurements and payment made only on the actual weight ascertained by BOO of stainless steel chromium plated round/ square pipes 304 and nothing shall be extra paid on this account .

Supply and fixing New Sign Board made with Aluminium Composite Panel Sheet 6mm thick (ACP Sheet) used for informatory / cautionary/ warning sign board for road safety features etc, fitted / framed in steel pipe frame including fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. Note:- Steel frame, legs, letter writing shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of Schedule 'A' BOQ.

Material and labour for writing letter or figures arrows, Bldgs/ colony layout computer cut (Block Roman), italic or Indian) width 25mm and height as directed by Eng-in-Charge, made out of ertry reflective luminious tape as per IRC standard, in approved colour, pasted firmly without appearance/ sign of bubbles on Aluminium Composite Panel Sheet complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.Note :Aluminium Composite Panel Sheet shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of Schedule'A' BoQ.

Supply & Fixing for Convex Mirror of 1000mm dia made from long life poly carbonate with strong impact resistant and shattler proof fitted with a sun shield or protective hood of colour as approved by GE and 75 mm dia MS pipe duly painted of approved colour of suitable length as directed including fixing in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 450mm x 450mm x 600mm deep including excavation and earthwork complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. Note: The rate of cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 450mm x 450mm x 600mm deep and earth work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Material and labour for solar delinator 600mm long made of ABS material dual directional rectangular, fittied with 4 ultra bright flashing LEDs and mounted on MS Pipe 50mm dia, powder coated (shade as approved by GE) anti rust and anti theft, steel nuts 125mm x 100mm size and fixing in cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:The rate of cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm and excavation and earth work in any strata is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
