Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft /loose soil for laying of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exc 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil (excavated soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L River sand, spread dry in trenches as in cable cushioning complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm laid in trenches as in protection of UG cables complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for locating UG cable fault using Microprocessor based fault locator suitable for low/medium and high volatge up to 11KV, XLPE/ PVC/ PILC of Aluminium/ Copper cables under trenches/ RCC surface & on wall for finding OC/ SC/ Flashing faults with any one of the suitable methods Time domain reflectometer method (TDR)/ Secondary impulse Method (SIM)/ Impulse Current method (ICM)/decay Method to achieve pin point fault location up to 5 Km distance complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Quoted cost deemed to be included all accessories , equipments and labour cost)

M & L for filteration and dehydration of transformer oil on line by using streamline filteration plant the dielectric strength to be brought to not less than 60 KV (at 2.0mm gap for 1 minute) and testing the oil sample after dehydration complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) Test result before and after filteration to be recorded as per the sample provided by Engr-in-charge. (ii) The rate quoted deemed to be included for taking necessary connection and the connection to filteration plant from transformers and switchgear oil duly removing the inlet and outlet connections. (iii) For topping up transformer oil will be measured and paid separately under relevent items. iv) The rate quoted deemed to inclusive of testing charges.

Collecting the oil samples of transformers /voltage stabilizers installed at CHAFB areas after filteration and dehydration and carrying out testing the oil from NABL accredited Laboratory and as per IS 335:1993 detail analysis of physical, chemical & electrical parameters including dissolved gas analysis, Furan Analysis etc and full report is submitted on printed form for each transformer oil samples tested complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for filling insulating oil (transformer oil) confirming to IS-1866:2000 having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV for topping up in 11/0.433 KV transformer all as directed (Filling shall be done by on line filtration plant only) Make. Sarita/HP

S & fix in repairs of air breather any type upto 630 KVA transformer complete with filled silica gel complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting the transformer indoor/ outdoor of capacity ranging from up to 630 KVA after preparation of surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel (matching existing colour) paint on old steel surface and marking serial no, MES No, SM No, date of installation etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting the compact substation including transformer, SF6 breaker and canopy complete of capacity ranging from up to 630 KVA after preparation of surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel (matching existing colour) paint on old steel surface marking serial no, MES No, SM No, date of installation etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & fix in repairs of HT 11 KV bushing porcelain with copper alloy terminals for transformer of capacity upto 630 KVA including dismantling unserviceable complete all as specified and directed

All as per item 16 here-in-before but LT bushings complete all as specified and directed.

S & fix in repairs of burnt brass bush connecting rod for transformer up to 630 KVA and refixing new connecting rods with oil seal o-ring, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for servicing of two pole structure complete including repairs of unserviceable jumpers with PVC 50 Sqmm aluminium cable single core, vice type connectors, bolts nuts washers connecting lugs/thimbles knife contacts, applying petroleum jelly to the moving as well as fixed contacts tightening all the connections for its smooth functioning and preparing the old painted surfaces of the structure such as poles, cross arms, bracing and supports clamps back plates complete painting of two coats of anticorrosive aluminium paint over a coat of redoxide zinc chrome primer and providing yellow and black paint from the ground level at site as directed by Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and directed. M&L danger notice board/plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enamelled white with letter, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, nuts and bolts of approved size of HT 25 x 20 cm size complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preventive maintenance/ repairs to transformer step down 11 KV/ 0.43 KV in door/out door type of any make of 250 KVA - 400 KVA - including cleaning the transformers externally thoroughly with lint free cloth, tightening the HT/LT terminal nuts, opening the top cover and replacing the worn out copper alloy nuts and tightening the earth terminals and conducting various tests as stipulated in the particular specification complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preventive maintenance/ repairs to transformer step down 11 KV/ 0.43 KV in door/out door type of any make of 100 KVA - 200 KVA - including cleaning the transformers externally thoroughly with lint free cloth, tightening the HT/LT terminal nuts, opening the top cover and replacing the worn out copper alloy nuts and tightening the earth terminals and conducting various tests as stipulated in the particular specification complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preventive maintenance/repairs to transformer step down 11 KV/ 0.43 KV in door/out door type of any make of 500/630 KVA - including cleaning the transformers externally thoroughly with lint free cloth, tightening the HT/LT terminal nuts, opening the top cover and replacing the worn out copper alloy nuts and tightening the earth terminals and conducting various tests as stipulated in the particular specification complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for maintenance/repairs to tap changer of transformer upto 630KVA capacity, tightening of nuts ,bolts and all check the functioning of all moving parts, including changing all worn out parts such as moving contacts, L-connectors, fixed contacts, mounting blocks etc including testing of tap changer in all positions complete all as specified and directed.

S & Fix in repairs of vaccum bottle interrupter rated 11KV, breaking capacity 31.5 KA, rated current 630A min, including testing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for detecting faults in HT Installation or trip of breakers HT Panel or defects in 2 pole/ 4 pole/ 6 pole structure checking the cable ends, Terminals, connections etc in CHAFB, No.2 Offrs Mess area and rectifiying the defects for restoring supply including replacing of defective items immediately from the items catered BOQ. Note :- (i) Rate for item required to be replaced shall be measured and paid under respective item of schedule. (ii) Essential material like, insulation tape, screws and all tools required for carrying out the works shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) All emergency nature complaints must be attended and completed within 2 hrs as and when assigned. (iv) All other complaints to be attended and completed within 6 hrs as and when assigned (v) Non rectification of complaints in said time shall be penalized at Rs 500- per hour per complaint and recovery shall be made in the payment due to the contractor.
