STORAGE SHED Design Supply and Erection of storage shed of size 12.00 Mtr × 6.00 Mtr × 3.00 mtr as per arch line drawing. The structural design all including of RCC footing and foundation needs to be prepared and also to be vetted from NIT or IIT by the contractor. Structure frame system design with structural steel conforming to IS Code and design as per IS Code. Provisions with std worst combination of load as per IS Code prevailing in Leh should be done by the contractor. The structural frame system should support the structure. The vetted drawing should provide all details of Reinforcement, Size of RCC, excavation depth of Foundation, Column, Plinth Beam, Truss details, Structural member details, and all fixing details required for execution. Certificate from NIT/IIT needs to be in conjunction with codal provisions and submitted by the contractor before execution of work. Reference shall be taken from attached drawings. Design Criteria: The structural shall be designed in accordance with relevant IS Provns/NBC code/ extent government guidelines suitable for Leh however,some design criteria are listed as under: (a) Seismic Co-efficient: As per Seismic Zone IV. (b) Snow Load : Snow Load as per IS codal Provn for Leh. (c) Wind Load : equivalent to wind load speed as per relevant IS Provn. (d) Roof Slope : as per design requirment (e) Design load : As per IS 875/Relevant IS Provn (f) Design of foundation as per the structure vetted by the auth as mentioned above. (g) The design of the structure shall be carried out minimum 10 Ton/m2 of soil bearing capicity (SBC). The quoted rate is deemed to incl this aspect. Design Data: (a) Length: 12.00 M. Foundation/Column/Pedestal/Plinth Beam shall be designed by the tenderer and quoted rate is deemed to include the same (Design Cost). All the items i.e. Excavation for foundation/PB, removal/refilling of soil, PCC Work in fdn, Reinforcement/RCC work, formwork are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. Quoted rate is also deemed to include necessary vetting of Structure duly signed and stamped from any IIT/NIT of the structural drawing prepared by the approved structural design consultant of tenderer. Vertical main member/Wall Work/frame work: Supporting framework (vertical member) as per designed made with mild steel hollow pipe connected with base plate at bottom and with stiffener plate if required, coated with synthetic enamel primer shall be connected to the RCC foundation/pedestal with the help of J hooks having a min length of 400 mm and a suitable dia as per design to secure connection between the steel structure and RCC foundation/Pedestal. A base plate of suitable thickness, size & strength provided at bottom of steel members as per design requirements with non-shrink grout to ensure structural stability and load transfer. Walls made of suitable overlapping by 150 mm and proper flashing shall be done. There shall be no gap at any point of the framework of angles/MS pipe. Joints of sheets shall be overlapped by 150 mm and proper flashing shall be done. There shall be no gap at any point of the framework and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitered angles, clout nails or rivets required complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. All items are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. Roof: Supporting framework (truss) made with mild steel pipe/angles coated with red oxide primer and incl necessary two coat synthetic enamel painting and 0.50 mm thick PPGI Sheet fixed on the top & sides of frame (truss & purlin) with fastener and all edges covered with side flashing properly (Colour: Multani Mitti) and joints of sheet be overlapped by 150mm (min). Pre painted (matching with roof tint) wind tie of size 40 × 5mm flat iron shall be provided at lower and upper horizontal end of each pitch for protection against wind. The Profile of Galvalume sheet on roof will project 400mm outside the ends of front and rear side and 300mm at the both gable ends. In addition to self-tapping screws shall also be fixed for roof sheeting. The sheets shall be as per IS provn. All items are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item.

Floor: 50mm thick 1:2:4 PCC floor (20mm graded stone aggregate) smooth & finish over 100mm thick 1:4:8 subbase (40mm graded stone aggregate) over 150 mm thick Hardcore : (Broken stone boulders) of guage exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface over rammed earth filling under floor are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. Chowkhat (02 Nos). S & F for MS angle chowkat of angle size 50×50×6mm, fixed with frame work of sheet with welding and connecting member, etc complete all as specified and directed. Door (02 Nos). S & F for Mild steel 1 mm thick, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed on MS angle frame for door of size 40×40×6mm fixed with 4 Nos MS 100mm butt hinges including MS fittings like 300mm MS sliding door bolt (02 Nos), 150mm MS handle (02 Nos) and including preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described with one coat of primer with Red oxide and two coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as shown in drawings are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. Ventilator (04 Nos). S & F for Framed work of angle (40×40×6mm) as in chowkat of ventilator with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc. complete with MS angle frame for ventilator 25×25×5mm with 4mm thick glass pane to be prepared for hanging with and including either hooks and 02 Nos butt hinges per shutter and including steel fittings such as tower bolt, steel handles...etc as shown in drawing, and incl preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described with one coat of primer with Red oxide and two coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as shown in drawings are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. Chajjas: Chajjas with a projection of 1000 mm width to be provided over each door as shown in drawing with angle iron frame work including 0.50mm thick PPGI sheet on top as per details in arch and structural drg are deemed to be incl in the quoted rate for this item. Plinth Protection: 50 mm thick, PCC 1:3:6 over 75mm thk hardcore (broken boulder) n exc 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and shown in drawings are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item.

Block Masonry Steps. M&L for concrete block masonry with solid blocks, type C1 1:3:6 (20mm graded aggregates) exc. 10cm in width and setting in mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Electrical point: 60 Electrical point, light point, fan point, exhaust fans all as per requirement of Engr in Charge. NOTE: ALL FEATURES LIKE FAN WILL BE IN CLIENT SCOPE Note: (a) Anything missed out above but reqd as per site/ arch line plan for construction of functional structures is deemed to be included in quoted rate and no extra claim shall be admissible.
