Laying only rerouting serviceable any type of cable up to 300 sqmm 2/3/ 3 ½ /4 core size all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation, sand, bricks and connected items shell be measured and paid separately.

Laying only old bricks over the sand cushioning dry and flat for cable protection. Note:- Bricks obtained from the removing of unserviceable cable and re routing cable.

Testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 11 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Excavation, earth work, cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable cover/bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra PCC cover/bricks and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) M&L for emergency maintenance work of HT/LT cable line during breakdown by deploying skilled labour and electricians at faulty site having gang of minimum 4 persons including transportation and other tools and plant required at site for fault rectification. (e) Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within two hours of notification of breakdown. In case the contractor or his rep shall not come to the site of breakdown and start attending breakdown within two hours, a penalty of rs 600 per fault per hour shall be imposed over contractor and shall be deduct from his dues.

Taking out faulty underground 1100 volt LT cable of different sizes by excavation and removing bricks of any size and relaying in the same trenches or re routing after rectification of fault or replacing faulty portion of cable with new cable and removing of surplus soil and using new bricks as required. Note:- (a) 1100 volt LT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra bricks/PCC cable cover and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule.

(ii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. The envelope of the vacuum interrupter and insulating materials shall be wiped with a clean cloth. (iii) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc. use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (iv) Check for rust and wear. (v) Check spring tension and pitting of thecCluster contacts. (vi) Visual check for rust and deformation. (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Checking of jaw contacts conditions and repair/adjust. (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required. (xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish. (xv) Replacement of dashpot/shock absorbers. (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor (b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Primary injection test of CT / PT (ii) Closing & opening timing test for all three poles.
