Providing of multi stage HC Pump of 5000 GPH X 250MTR head coupled with suitable induction motor. The recommended make of pump should be Kirloskar, Mathur & Platt, and KSB along with recommended make induction motor of kirloskar, ABB, Alstom, Marathon. The specification of motor should be 384+15 % voltage range, 2900 rpm, 50 HZ, 2 Poles, TEFC Cooled. The pumping machinery should confirm relevant ISO standard with all latest amendment. The equipment should also be accompanied with test certificate and performance curve. (Total no of pump-sets 2x4nos=8nos)

| 2.00 | INSTALLATION of Pump sets:-
Foundation Block(2Nos):-Construction of R.C.C. foundation block – 1No of 1800mm X 900mm X 1000mm (L X B X D) inside the pump room at each stage of WSS ChontraNomal for installation of pumping units by excavation of soil to finish with required dimensions of the pit, removal of excavated material and disposing off the same outside the pump room at suitable place as per site conditions. The job also includes demolishing the existing flooring of requisite area with jack hammer, high carbon steel chisels and sledge hammer, providing and laying of crushed stones 40 mm and ramming properly. Laying of one layer of 1:3:6 concrete mass 30 mm thick. Fabrication& Providing of steel foundation bolts of 25mm diaX600 mm in length – 6 Nos. having threaded portion at one end and an anchor at the other end. Also providing fabrication of steel hexagonal nuts and washers for the foundation bolts. Fabrication of steel reinforced cuboidal structure of requisite size for the foundation block out of T.M.T steel bars 10 mm thick by way of cutting, the steel bars of required length and placing in position at proper spacing longitudinally and transversally and binding with black annealed wire them properly so that internal cube meshes of 6” size are formed. Job includes fabrication charges as well hirer charges of welding set. Lowering the reinforced/cuboidal steel structure in the pit and then placing the base frame of the pump over the steel reinforced cuboidal steel structure making proper leveling and alignment of the base frame over the cuboidal steel structure. Placing the threaded end of the foundation bolts in upright vertical position at required distance in position and in alignment after lowering through holes of base frame. Binding of the foundation bolts with the steel mesh of cuboidal steel reinforced structure at various spots and then fastening the base frame over the reinforced steel structure by tightening the nuts of the foundation bolts, simultaneously ensuring proper leveling and alignment of the base frame over the reinforced cuboidal steel structure. The job further includes laying of M-20 grade cement concrete block including steel reinforcement, machine mixing laying and compaction with vibrator using stone aggregate 1:11/2:3 mix (1 cement 11/2 coarse sand and 3 graded stone mixture of specified grade of nominal size 20mm) including binding chemical up to top level from inside the base frame and up to the bottom line of base frame from outside of the base frame – also plastering the exposed surface of block. Construction of drain for draining out the occasional leakage water of pump. Also repairing of damaged flooring wherever required with cement concrete mixture using chemical bonding material for smooth finish of the flooring of the pump room, and proper curing of cement works for proper strength for a minimum of 07 days. The whole job also includes cost of material and carriage charges for all material from various sources by Mech. Transport as well as head load, hire charges of shuttering material, vibrator and concrete mixture and welding set, POL for vibrator and concrete mixture, labour charges for laying of foundation block, including skilled and semi-skilled workers deployed for execution of job -2 Jobs
Carriage(2Nos):-:-Carriage of pumping machinery (pump, motor, coupling set, base frame) from divisional store/contractor’s site to site of work by Mech. Transportation-38Km and Head Load-15Km upto Pump Room. The job also includes dismantling the pumping unit, unfastening the coupling bolts, nuts, bolts of the base frame for separating each component viz. motor pump, coupling set, base frame etc., for their proper handling and carriage.
Installation(2Nos):-Installation of new 5000 GPH X250M. Head H.C. pump set -2No on the foundation blocks at each stage of WSS ChontraNomal by way of providing and fitting of bolts with nuts and washers for fitting of new pump and motor on each base frame, Also leveling of pump and motor in proper alignment with each other. Tightening the nut bolts of the base frame. Providing and fitting graphite gland packing with fitting of pump glands. Coupling the pump and motor by way of fixing of coupling bolts. Job includes cost of graphite gland packing, nut bolts of the base frame and labour charges for skilled and semiskilled workers deployed for execution of job.
Suction manifold(1Nos):-:-Fabrication of suction manifold out of 150 mm dia MS pipe 6 feet in length by plugging both the extreme ends by welding 2 Nos. blind flanges at each end and placing in position at required height outside the pump room and anchoring by laying of RCC Cubical blocks 2 nos. Of required size over the manifold with required foundation of blocks beneath the manifolds and curing RCC block for proper strength and finally the suction manifold to be connected with suction line of sump tank by creating a hole of required size in the manifold by gas cutting making v-groove all along the circumference of the cut and then welding by way of joining of suction line of sump tank to the manifold by proper welding works in a precise manner- 1Job
Delivery manifold(1Nos):-:-Fabrication of delivery manifold out of 150 mm G.I. pipe 2000 mm length by plugging both the ends by welding 1 No. blind flange at each end and placing in position and required height outside the pump room and anchoring by laying of RCC Cubical blocks 2 nos. Of required size over the manifold with required foundation of blocks beneath the manifolds and curing properly the RCC cubical blocks for proper strength and finally the delivery manifold to be connected with the Rising main by creating a hole of required size in the delivery manifold by gas cutting making v-groove all along the circumference of the cut by way of joining of rising main to the manifold by proper welding work in a precise manner-1Job
Suction Line(2Nos):- :- Providing andLaying of 100mm dia GI pipe of required length as suction line from water tank to the suction end of the H.C pump The job includes cutting of the 100mm dia GI pipe in the convenient lengths/ as per site condition with the help of oxygen acetylene gas cutting system. The cut edges shall be grinded with grinder to give then a smooth and even surface. Then laying, aligning welding of 100mm GI pipe in continuous fillet weld of 6mm in three layers of superior quality welding electrodes. The job includes fabrication of bends negotiated in laying as per the site conditions. Then providing / fabrication of M.S flanges having 100mm ID having thickness 6 mm. Cutting of 100mm inner circular cut with oxygen acetylene gas cutting system and finishing on heavy duty lathe from both sides drilling of holes 5/8 dia at equal spaces in three operations making of groove from proper fitting of packing sheet. The job also includes fabrication of 90 degree bend out of 100mm GI pipe by cutting it into required pieces and welding at regd. angle. then fitting the one bend with suction flange of HC pump and flanged end of the 100 mm pipe with P/F of rubber sheet and reqd. no. of 5/8” 3” long high tensile MS bolts with nuts and spring washers. Job also includes Providing and Fitting of cast iron Sluice Valve heavy duty 100mm-1no on suction and then testing the mechanical system on load.
Delivery Line(2Nos):-:-Providing andLaying of 80mm dia GI pipe 100mtr. in length. The job includes cutting of the 80mm dia GI pipe in the convenient lengths/ as per site condition with the help of oxygen acetylene gas cutting system. The cut edges shall be grinded with grinder to give then a smooth and even surface. Then laying, aligning welding of 80mm GI pipe 100mtr in length( approx.) in continuous fillet welded of 6mm in three layers of superior quality welding electrodes of 4mm and 3.14 mm dia. The job includes fabrication of bends negotiated in laying of as per the site conditions. Then providing / fabrication M.S flanges having 80mm O.D & 80 mm ID having thickness 6 mm. The job includes providing of MS plate 6 mm thick 80mm x 80mm. Cutting 80mm outer circular cut and 80mm inner circular cut with oxygen acetylene gas cutting system and finishing on heavy duty lathe from both sides drilling of holes 5/8 dia at equal spaces in three operations making of groove from proper fitting of packing sheet. The job also includes fabrication of 90 degree bend out of 80mm MS pipe by cutting it into required pieces and welding at regd. angle. then fitting the one bend with suction flange of HC pump and flanged end of the 80 mm MS pipe with P/F of rubber sheet and reqd. no. of 5/8” 3” long high tensile MS bolts with nuts and spring washers. Job also Providing and Fitting of cast Steel sluice Valve 80mm (150PSI) Dia -1no, NRV cast Steel 80mm (150PSI) -1no with pipe on delivery side and then testing the mechanical system on load then testing the mechanical system on load. The whole job includes cost of material i-e., G.I Pipes, Reflex Valve, Sluice Valve (it should confirm relevant ISO standards) welding rods, M.S. flanges, M.S. bends, nut bolts, rubber insertion sheet, oxygen acetylene gas used and POL used by DG set, hire charges/carriage charges of welding set, DG set, gas cutting apparatus and labour charges for skilled and semi-skilled workers deployed for execution of job.
LT control Panel(2Nos):-Designing, Fabrication, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of LT Control Panel of 415 volts, AC 3 phase, 50 HZ for 50/60HP capacity motor Installed at WSS ChontraNomal. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof fabricated out of 14/16 SWG CR sheet. The panel should be sturdy enough for vibration free operation and should be equipped with suitable Locking/ Sealing arrangement. The structure should be provided suitable entry and exist holes for incoming and outgoing cables. The panel should be given two coats of anti-Rust primer and two coats of enamel paint. It should be equipped with MCCB 200Amp 35KA in input side for short circuit protection, Contractor MNX110A-2no (L&T Make or equivalent) for main and delta supply and 1No contractor 80Amp (L&T Make or equivalent) for star operation, I No timer for change over the supply of motor from star to Delta, 2 No push buttons for stop and start operation of motor. 1No thermal relay fitted with main contractor.
Metering:The enclosure should be voltmeter, ampere meter are to be provided along with the required current transformer and selector switches. All control wiring should be neat and clean with flexible copper cable to complete the star- delta circuit of outgoing supply.
Features and specifications
a)Automation:- the system shall trip off the motor on power failure and on appearance of an electrical fault mentioned below which may otherwise damage the motor field coils and restart the motor automatically on resumption of electric fault thus providing automation to the system and protection to the motor. The system shall provide against:-
1. Low voltage below 350V.
2. High voltage above 450V.
3. Single phase.
4. Reverse phasing.
5. Un Balanced phasing.
6. Dry running.
7. Over loading.
Testing and Commissioning of control panel by making connecting to incoming terminals and outgoing terminal of control panel. The job includes providing/ Laying/ fitting of suitable PVC copper conductor properly thimbles at the ends. Testing the performance of the panel on no load and on full load. The job includes the cost of all types of material and labour charges.
Panel Board, Main switch, Starter(1Nos) - Fabrication of panel board out of MS angle iron 40mm x 40 mm x 6 mm having a rectangular frame (6ft x 2 ft) and 2 no horizontal legs and 2 no vertical legs for mounting on the wall and on ground in the pump room, fitting of 12 mm thick one sided mica ply in the Angle iron rectangular frame (6ft x 2ft), cutting/drilling of holes for fitting of different equipment over it. Providing and fitting of 1 No. Main switch of HRC type 400 Amp capacity. Fitting of Star delta motor starters 01 no of 50/60HP, Providing & fitting of voltmeter 0-500 V – 1 No., ampere meter (0-100 amps.) – 1 Nos. with selector switches, C.T’s of requisite current carrying capacity, indicators for all the three phases, making of the internal wiring using P.V.C. wires. Filling of transformer oil in new motor starters up to the required level, Job includes proper installation of panel board at appropriate place first by way of creating two No. holes in the wall and two No. pits in the ground and then fixing with cement concrete mix. Connecting the panel board to the incoming out going cables with providing & fitting of thimbles to the cable leads. Job includes cost of material, labour charges for skilled and semiskilled workers to be deployed for execution of complete job
Voltage Stabilizer(1Nos):-
Supplying/Providing/fitting of 100KVA oil cooled manual operated step up/Down voltage stabilizer with following Specifications:-
Input Voltage Range 290 ( Phase to Phase) out 400-410 Volts + 5% (Phase to Phase)
The stabilizer should be fitted with MCCB 200Amp at output side of Stabilizer. The Stabilizer shall filled with fresh T-oil. Complete job includes mechanical transport/Manual labour for delivery of Stabilizer at Site. Complete job
Painting(2Nos):-Cleaning all the surfaces of suction and delivery lines by scrubbing with emery paper, sand paper, wire brushes and then applying a single coat of red oxide primer, drying out at moderate temperature then applying two coats of black synthetic enamel paint for smooth and even shades. Job includes cost of material and labour charges.
cables :-providing and fitting of following size of PVC insulated copper cable with thimbles :-
1. Providing and fitting of 3.5 x185 Sqmm core armored aluminum cable from Transformer to Main Switch -25mtr
2. Providing and fitting of copper cables 70 sq mm from Main Switch to voltage stabilizer- 30mtr
3. Providing and fitting of copper cables 50 sq mm from Voltage Stabilizer to the LT Control Panel/Star delta manual Starter -30mtr.
4. Providing and fitting of copper cables 35 sq mm from LT Control Panel/Starter to motor -60mtr.
All the cables shall be of requisite current carrying capacity as per the equipment and shall be routed through the flexible conduit and firmly connected to the electric points of stabilizer, main switch starter and motors.
Electrification(1Job): - Complete electrification of pump room job involves providing and fitting of 3 No’s Light point and 1no heating point complete with 2x1.5 sqmm wiring along switches, GI Box etc. The wiring should be laid through P.V.C baton/PVC pipes as per requirement Fitting of main switch board having Off/On switch and Sockets. Complete job including the cost of material and labour charges and Job also includes providing and installation of 02 Nos LED Flood Lights (50 watts) by making proper provision control with on/off switches etc as required.
Chemical Earthing(2Nos):-Providing and fixing of Chemical Earthing by way of digging of pit approximately 7ft. P/f of copper electrode with chemical material and P/L of copper wire with proper nut-bolts. Complete job includes cost of material, labour charges, and tools-tackles for working at site. Complete job includes the cost of material and labour charges for skilled and semi-skilled workers deployed for execution of work. Complete Job in all respect
Testing Commissioning(2Nos)0 :-Testing commissioning of the newly installed pumping units at each stage of WSS ChontraNomal along with allied starting and controlling devices for their smooth functioning. Rectifying the faults noticed during testing and also setting, adjusting the instruments of the panel Board , LT Control Panel and tightening of each cable thimbles of electrical points of stabilizer, main switch, starters and motors and realignment/leveling of pump & motor and checking the leakage of water from suction and delivery line if any.
