Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting of any gauge or thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings, removing fasteners, and stacking the steel within a lead of 50 m, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Work to be executed up to the height of a three-storey building, including all necessary scaffolding, safety arrangements, and making good disturbed surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work, such as gates, columns, roof trusses, balcony railings, and similar steel structures, including cutting, unfastening, and removal of steel members of any section or description, stacking the steel within a lead of 50 m, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down chowkats or frames, area not exceeding 1.5 Sqm, and without taking of shutter from the frames, including all labour, materials, making good disturbed surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar, in order to part demolition, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work, and precast PCC blocks, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete flooring, paving and roof surfaces, below or above ground level, unreinforced, of any description and in any position, not exceeding 150 mm thickness, including breaking up, collection and removal of debris from site and disposal outside defence land, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete in all respects as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick Hardcore of broken stone or boulder of gauge exc 63 mm but n. exc 150 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n. exc 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/ rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate, in sub-base for hard standing, including all materials, labour, mixing, laying, compacting, curing, and finishing, complete in all respects as specified and as directed

M&L for 150 mm thick cement concrete pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/sq cm at 28 days in field, using 400 kg cement per cubic metre of concrete, including finishing the surface as specified, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) Type C-2, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, for plinth protection, finished fair and even, laid to a slope of 1:20, including 12 mm wide × 50 mm deep joints at intervals not exceeding 3 m and at corners. The joints shall be filled with mastic filling of bitumen (85:25) and sand in the ratio 1:2, complete all as specified and as directed.
