SPECIAL REPAIR TO PERIMETER ROAD FROM GUARD POST NO 3 TO 16 AT KANASAR UNDER GE (N) BIKANER

Dismantling/demolition of complete existing black top surface or bitumen macadam surface in any area exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm but not exceeding 150mm (average depth 75mm) as per requirement in single pass with suitable cold milling machine fitted with loading convey or for loading the milled material directly on the trucks and stacking where directed complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Stacked/milled material removing from site to any lead at contractor site (out side MOD land) after completion of road work or as directed by GE being contractor property (as per credit Sch) cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Material and labour for laying and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), grading as per table 400-13 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), grading as per table 400-13 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for Preparing surfaces of WMM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure to remove all loose dirt etc. & after preparing applying evenly a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 conforming to IS: 8887 @ 7-10 kg/10 Sqm on surfaces of WMM as specified in Table 500-3 of MORTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for providing and laying Dense bituminous macadam of compacted thickness in any range from 50mm to 75mm as per site requirement, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 4.5 % by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type Hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic sensor paver, rolle d and compacted to required gradient and camber with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per clause 505 MORTH (5th revision) specification and as directed. Note :- (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 4.5 % VG-30 bitumen content, Job mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORTH ( 5th revision) for BM shall be worked out from any Govt Lab/Govt Engg college/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the contractor and same shall be submit for approval of Accepting Officer through GE before execution. The cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 50/kg of binder and NO adjustment shall be made on plus side. (ii) The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within a maximum of 48 hours. If there is to be any delay by the contractor, course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of clause 512 of MORTH (5th revision) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately. (iii) The contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorpoation of the same in the work. (iv) Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using BM. (v) Payment shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. For any variation in bitumen contents the re-testing to be got done by contractor at without any extra cost. (vi) Repair to pot holes shall be carried out as directed by Engineer-in-charge under this item and not measured separately, cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Material & labour for Preparing of DBM /black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure to remove all loose dirt etc. & after preparing applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 @ 3 to 3.5 kg/10 sqm on DBM/bituminous surfaces as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for laying Premix bituminous concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.4% paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30, content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type Hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per clause 507 MORTH (5th revision) specification and as directed. Note :- (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 5.4% VG-30 bitumen content, Job mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORTH ( 5th revision) for BC shall be worked out from any Govt Lab/Govt Engg college/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the contractor and same shall be submit for approval of Accepting Officer through GE before execution. (ii) Cost of filler i.e. cement (OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. (iii) After spreading of mix as as per clause 507.4.7 MORTH (5th revision) entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight , followed by finished rolling 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per clause No 507.4.8 MORTH (5th revision) and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iii) The contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorpoation of the same in the work. (iv) Payment shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. For any variation in bitumen contents the re-testing to be got done by contractor at without any extra cost. (v) Top of road surface shall be broomed on next day after completion of rolling and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous new surfaces of road and marking thermo plastic reflective paint 2mm thick as in centre lines, side lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like (in any colour as directed like white, golden, yellow, orange black etc.) on road surface to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5kg/Sqm and glass beads @ 250gm/Sqm conforming to MORTH clause No 803-4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep and getting out in any type of soil including cutting of grass, bushes and grubbing up/digging out roots of tree girth not exceeding 30cm etc, levelling, rolling consolidation formation surfaces by exc 8 tonne and not exc 12 tonne power roller including removing unserviceable material (surplus soil, trees/grass/roots) to a any distance and depositing where directed complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for Continuous Jodhpur stone slab edging 60-70mm thickness, 25-30 cm wide (for depth of edging) and 60cm to 90 cm long, laid dry vertically, jointing and pointing in CM (1:4) each stone slab self faced on both the vertical sides, edge slightly true and square on top edge, hammer dressed for the full thickness so that the depression from a straight edge held against the surface shall not exceed 20mm between two joints of slab, including necessary excavation and earth work, embedding to depth as required and tamping ground around stone edging and removal/spreading of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and deposited as directed complete all as specified. Note :- (i) The stone slabs shall be laid abutting to each other in such a way that thickness of edging is equal to thickness of stone slabs and depth of edging is equal to width of stone slabs. (ii) The stone slabs shall be obtained from 'Chitter Quarry' at Jodhpur.
