Supply and erection and commissioning of 400 KVA /320KW, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50Hertz, 0-8 power factor with provision for electrical starting silent diesel Generating set (with acoustic enclosure) comprising of Kirloskar / Leyland / Ruston / Greaves Cotton / Cummins make ) water industrial diesel engine water / Air cooled suitable for generator set application shall be multi stroke, multi cylinders developing not less than 490 BHP at 1500 rpm under normal temperature and pressure condition. The engine shall be conforming to BS 649 or IS 10002 with latest amendments. It shall be capable of taking 10% over load for 1 hour in every 12 hours of continuous operation including 6 Nos. of anti vibration pads. The Engine shall be completed with following accessories. Fly wheel, electrical starting provision, engine cooling fan, fuel and lubricating oil filters, Oil bath air filter air cleaners, lubrication oil pressure gauge 450 litres capacity fuel tank mounted with engine, Hour meter, with exhaust manifold, flexible pipe, 24 V electric starting equipment

complete with starter motor, charging dynamo or alternator, 2 nos. of 12 volts with 25 plate battery of make. AMCO / STANDARD/ EXIDE/DAGANITE (With Guarantee cards) of adequate capacity and low lubricating oil pressure / high temperature varying engine shut down devices. adequate nos of Anti Vibration Mounting pads. Accoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent canopy shall be of nut bolt type construction. Powder coating is done after seven tank surface preparation process of sheet metal, Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE - RETRADANT foam / Rock Wool as acoustic material. Four hinged doors shall be provided to canopy, one door shall have glass window for control panel. Base frame is fabricated either in ISMC channel or in sheet metal. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting engine and alterator, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame shall have provision for mounting of acoustic enclosure and it is having provision of lifting hook for convenient lifting of complete set, i.e. along with canopy, engine and alternator. Fuel tank shall be fabricated out of 14SWG CRCA MS sheet and is part of base frame. It is duly painted and fitted with inlet and outlet connections of suitable capacity The Acoustic enclosure shall be Type test approved as per CPCB norms.

The average sound level when measured in green field condition (ISO m3744 OR 8528 PT 10) at 1-meter distance from all four sides shall be less than 75-dBA averag. The average stabilized hot air temperature rise with in the canopy is maintained with in 10oC over and above ambient temperature Accoustic enclosure is suitable for Outdoor / Indoor installation. Lockable doors shall be provided. Locking fuel filling arrangement to be provided external to the canopy. Residential silencer is housed in the canopy.

The exhaust gasses shall be taken out through a suitable flexible pipe to prevent any back pressure on the engine. ALTERNATOR: The alternator shall be Crompton / Kirloskar Stamford / ELGI make shall self exited, self regulated, screen protected, drip proof alternator with static excitation system, capable of developing 400 KVA/320KW at 0.8 power factor, 415V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50Hz when running at 1500 rpm, generally conforming to IS 4722/1968 or BS 2613:1970 under NTP condition, the voltage regulation will be +/-5% of rated voltage. It shall be with end shield / ball roller bearing complete.

Making earth pit of G.I. pipe for earthing in earth pit with 40mm dia. G.I. pipe medium class of length 3.05m perforated with 46 Nos of 12mm dia. holes, pipe lowered in bore holes of 150mm dia. and filled in with charcoal and salt in alternative layer of 300mm, the top of G.I. pipe shall be clamped. Earth pit shall be provided with 60cm dia precast ring with 60cm depth alround,covered with R.C.C. precast slab etc. as per I.E. standards.

Supplying and fixing of copper flat (25 x 3mm) for earthing arrangements including bolts and nuts etc.

Supplying of 3.5x240 sqmm underground cable (Paragon/suncab/ Empire) complete.-(above 250KVA Genset).

Laying of UG cable and providing termination of cable joint with suitable cable gland,cable socket etc. complete - 3.5 x 240 sqmm cable.

Providing and fixing of fire safety equipments comprising 1 No. of 4.5 kg of CO2 fire extinquisher 1m x 2m x6mm thick rubber mat shock proof of superior quality with two numbers of 10 litres capacity fire buckets (red colour) with M.S. stand arrangements etc.

Providing and fixing of 4 pole change over switch of STANDARD/HAVELLS/KUNDAN/ GEM make including M.S. frame as per I.E. standard.-400 Amps(Above 100 KVA)

Providing and laying of aluminium cladding with 50 mm thick glass wool slab with chicken mesh and covered with 24 SWG aluminium sheet (the rate includes double calculation for flanges & bends) as per I.E. standards.

Charges for transporting, erection, testing and commissioning of generator set excluding foundation,but including mechanical and other unskilled wages for installation of equipment, wiring from generator set to panel board and change over switches, handling charges, purchase of spares if any required for the installation and commissioning, the cost of fuel and other materials for a trial run of 6 hours. This rate also includes for testing and commissioning of generator set as specified, obtaining approval of Central Electricity Authority (CEA), payment for CEA inspection/Licence fees or any other charges and fulfilling other requirements and conditions laid down by CEA - above 200 KVA

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms , lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed , within a lead of 50m -All kinds of soil.

Supply of Quary rubbish including stacking to department gauge for premeasurement and spreading required thickness as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering.- All work upto plinth level -1:2:4 (1 cement:2coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering.- All work upto plinth level -1:4:8 (1 cement:4coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)
