(ii) The preventive maintenance schedule shall be as follows:- (a) MONTHLY - Checking of all cards (control card, zone card, fail card, charger card etc) in control panel for their healthly working condition. Testing of all zones by checking smoke detectors at random with smoke testing of Hooters and MCPs. (b) QUARTERLY - cleaning of all smoke detectors, heat detectors, response indicators, hooters, MCPs and Beam mastars and testing of all smoke detectors with smoke and heat detectors with heat. (iii) Service report is to be generated for the above monthly and quarterly maintenance for all the systems and submitting to Engr-in- Charge. (iv) Brakedown should be rectified as and when the system brakes down.
