EARTH WORK ITEMS

Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Add( or deduct from) item no 1 above item for every 3 cm or part thereof,above or below 15cm average depth complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Forming embankments with soil including raising (or lowering ) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick watering, ramming/rolling with 8-10 tonne power roller under optimum moisture condition (OMC) to modified proctor density and finishing to required size shape etc., not exceeding 1.5 m high from the base complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth obtained from any type of excavation in items herein after shall be used for embakment and balance earth requried shall be obatined from Rough excavation vide item no 7 below

Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas exceeding 1.5m and not exceeding 3.0m in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rough Excavation not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance exceeding 500m and not exceeding 1.5 Km, depositing where directed (for embankment) complete all as specified and directed.

ROAD/PATH (NEW)/ROAD STRENGTHNING

Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller/Vibromax earth compactor at OMC to achieve minium 95% density including filling in depressions which occurs during the process of rolling, rolling to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 150 mm compacted thickness GSB Gde–II in two layer (75 mm Each) over prepared sub grade, to required gradient and camber etc, all as specified in MORTH complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate of specification grade as per MORTH spread rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using mechanical paver/grader and tandem vibratory rollerd/earth compactor of capacity exc 8 tonne and not exceeding 15 tonne at OMC to achieve the min 98% density of MOD determined using modified density determination method as per IS Code on prepared subgrade complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finning the cleaned surface with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt for laying tack coat complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Premixed bituminous macadam with using 4% binder content by weight of total mix with paving bitumen grade VG 30 rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less).complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack of coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing, laying and consolidating 40mm thick semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient (by using paving Bitumen of grade VG-30 by using hot mix plants and laid by using mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Exact quantity of binder content based on mix design and no price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in execution of work under this item. (ii) Cost of cement (filler) is deemed to be included in this item. (iii) Work shall be done by using hot mix plant and sensor paver. (iv) Mix design to be done in accordance with clause 505.3.1 of MoRTH Vth revision

Material and labour for old size fly ash brick as in continuous brick edging; with width equal to the width of the brick; laid dry on end vertically complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack of coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm using mechanical sprayer all as specified and directed.

Scarifyig or picking gravelled or bitumenous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm, depth exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing old surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finialy fanning the surfaces with mechanical compressor blower to remove all loose dust/dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths etc cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Brick work or stone/bouder Masonary, laid dry complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new bituminous/concrete surface and painting lines dashes, arrows, letters etc exceeding 10 cm width with adequate No of coats of water base road marking paint in white,golden,yellow or red colour over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

PQC ROAD

Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including filling in depressions which occurs during the process of rolling, rolling to required gradient and camber and testing of desire 'K' value before laying of first layer of GSB @ 60 metre C/C complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 300mm thick compacted thickness GSB Gde-II in two layers (150mm thick each layers) over prepared sub grade to required gradient and camber etc. as specified in MORTH complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing and fixing HDPE Sheet 400 micron thick as per IS 2508 of approved colour and quality laid over DLC fixed with tack coat etc. all as specified and directed

Material and labour for Pavement Quality Concrete (Thickness of concrete shall be 250mm) in pavement etc of flexural strength 40 Kg/Sqcm in field using minimum 400kg of cement per cubic metre mixed with polyester non circular virgin synthetic monofilament fibres @ 1 kg/cum of weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions, spread and compacted including necessary steel form work finishing , belting, curing, complete all as specified and as directed. Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula should be compatible to as per IRC 44-2017 and IS -456.

Note: (i) Polyester non circular virgin synthetic monofilament fibres as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule. However mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

(iii) Trimming of vertical edges of construction joint (longitudinal and traverse) shall be carried out using sawing machine to maintain straight edge before laying of adjacent /subsequent lane. The quoted rate shall be deemed inclusive for this provision and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iv) Minimum cement content per cum of concrete shall be 400 kg/cum. However actual cement content shall be worked out as per design mix and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (v) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of use and waste form work for total thickness. (v)i The trial will be executed as per above specification and shall be got approved from GE. The quoted rate shall be deemed inclusive for this provision and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (viii) Curing compound will be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and surface is dry, and rate for use of curing compound shall be incl in quoted rate.

Material and labour for finishing surface of concrete pavement by brooming of Concrete pavemet complete while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only non circular ,virgin ,synthetic monofilament poyester fibers of length 12mm to 18mm , specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39 UV stable alkali resistance equivelent diameter 15-40 micron minimum melting temp 250^C and minimum tensile strength 300 mpa be used up to @ 0.25 % by weight of cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for forming construction joint 10mm wide and 30mm deep and filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for forming construction (dummy) joint 65mm deep and 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed.

CULVERT

Material and labour for hard core of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick watered and well rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm stone aggregate as in bed plates,coping and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles as directed including form work and finishig all exposed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY

Supply, lay, jointing and testing ductile iron K-9 SS including specials, 100mm (4 inch dia) with socket and spigot ends, ISI marked, confirming to IS 8329/2000 suitable and including rubber gaskets joint and fitting (push on) and including cutting existing pipe line making connection complete all as specified and directed. Note- All necessary fitting/material/accessories with specials bend, elbow , joint deemed to be included in quoted rates

Supply and fix Sluice valve of 100mm dia with brass spindle with hand wheel of class PN 1.6, conforming to IS 14846-2000 including suitable size bolts, nuts and washer and rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cast iron air valve with two air outlets 50 mm dia bore conformiing to IS 14845 and fixing up in DI water supply mains of size 100 mm 4 inch dia complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for construction of valve pit in PCC block masonry built in CM (1:6) of size 1200mm x 1200mm x 1200mm (internal dimension) along with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate foundation concrete, 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:6 on internal and exposed external surfaces including 40x40x6 mm mild steel angle iron frame and 3 mm thick MS sheet cover with locking arrangement and 1 no. 50 mm size 4 lever lock with triplicate keys including painting to steel and iron surfaces with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20cm size complete all as specified and directed. (FOR 2 POLE STRUCTURE)

Supply and fixi LED street light fitting 60 watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminium housing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 66 protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix GI pipe bracket light grade of 50mm dia ISI marked 1.5m total length duly bent to shape with an angle including clamps, nuts, bolts, washers etc.complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix LT Cable junction box outdoor shall be made out of Polycarbonate with glass fiber reinforced and size should be not less than 225mm x 295mm x 122 mm (upto Cable Size 10/16sq.mm). The Polycarbonate Junction Box shall be environment friendly, recyclable, halogen & silicon free, anti acid & anti corrosive. The Junction Box shall be rated for Degree of ingress Protection IP 66/69 in accordance with IEC 60529.Weatherproof, UV-resistant, rainwater-proof, temperature-resistant. The gasket material of junction box shall be Polyurethane and the gasket shall be internally embedded. The Junction Box shall be complies with requirements of the standards IEC 60998 - 1, IEC 60670 - 22 & IEC 60670 - 2 - 5. The Junction Box with Connectors or Terminal Trip or Bus Bar. The manufacturer of Junction Box / Enclosure shall submit a copy of IEC Certificate . For better safety the Polycarbonate enclosure and shall be fire retardant & self - extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60695 - 2 - 11, DIN VDE 0304 Part - 3, UL Subject 94 for Flammability V-2. It should be tested at Glow Wire test for 960 degree Centigrade & Current Carrying Capacity upto 102Amps. The impact strength of Polycarbonate enclosure / boards i.e. the Degree of protection against mechanical load shall be in accordance with EN 50298 - 98 for IK 08 including one No. 4 pole connector and one no. MCB SP 'B' curved 6-32 Amp and chromium plated clamps and nut bolts, Glands complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions
