ROAD/PATH (NEW)/ROAD STRENGTHNING
Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller/Vibromax earth compactor at OMC to achieve minium 95% density including filling in depressions which occurs during the process of rolling, rolling to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for 150 mm compacted thickness GSB Gde–II in two layer (75 mm Each) over prepared sub grade, to required gradient and camber etc, all as specified in MORTH complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate of specification grade as per MORTH spread rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using mechanical paver/grader and tandem vibratory rollerd/earth compactor of capacity exc 8 tonne and not exceeding 15 tonne at OMC to achieve the min 98% density of MOD determined using modified density determination method as per IS Code on prepared subgrade complete all as specified and directed.
Preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finning the cleaned surface with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt for laying tack coat complete all as specified and directed.
M&L Premixed bituminous macadam with using 4% binder content by weight of total mix with paving bitumen grade VG 30 rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less).complete all as specified and directed
Material and labour for applying evenly a tack of coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Pavement Quality Concrete (Thickness of concrete shall be 250mm) in pavement etc of flexural strength 40 Kg/Sqcm in field using minimum 400kg of cement per cubic metre mixed with polyester non circular virgin synthetic monofilament fibres @ 1 kg/cum of weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions, spread and compacted including necessary steel form work finishing , belting, curing, complete all as specified and as directed. Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula should be compatible to as per IRC 44-2017 and IS -456.
Note: (i) Polyester non circular virgin synthetic monofilament fibres as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule. However mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.
(iii) Trimming of vertical edges of construction joint (longitudinal and traverse) shall be carried out using sawing machine to maintain straight edge before laying of adjacent /subsequent lane. The quoted rate shall be deemed inclusive for this provision and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iv) Minimum cement content per cum of concrete shall be 400 kg/cum. However actual cement content shall be worked out as per design mix and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (v) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of use and waste form work for total thickness. (v)i The trial will be executed as per above specification and shall be got approved from GE. The quoted rate shall be deemed inclusive for this provision and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (viii) Curing compound will be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and surface is dry, and rate for use of curing compound shall be incl in quoted rate.
