Excavation in any type of soil in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for cable trenches for laying of cable / pipes etc.and getting out in soft / loose soil including taking out old bricks complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Serviceable bricks shall be stacked for reuse and Old unservicable bricks shall be sold to contractor under Sch of credit. (ii) Existing sand cushioning shall not be removed. (iii) In case different strata is met with during excavation, contractor shall not claim extra on this account.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour sand cushioning using dry clean sand (Tibba Sand) for protection of underground cable, consolidated and compacted complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour well burnt old size sub Class ‘B’ bricks, laid flat, in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per description of item No. 5.00 here in before but except bricks. Note:- Old servicable bricks retrived vide item No. 1 shall be re-used.

M&L Cement concrete 1:4:8 Type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates as in filling / foundation of poles / mass concrete complete all as specified.

M&L Cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-2 using 20mm graded stone aggregates as in coping on foundaion of poles incl necessary form work complete all as specified.

Taking out defective cable XLPE/PVC sheathed 1100 volt grade heavy duty armoured with aluminium conductor Cross sectional area 10 Sqmm, 4 core from trenches, from wall/poles/under floor etc, shifting serviceable cable for relaying or removing the unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) Unit rate of this item is also includes the removal of GI pipe and cable joint etc. and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iii) After taking out the cables from the trench, serviceability of cable shall be checked by the contractor in presence of the Engr-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

S&F as in repairs LT Cable route indicator / cable joint marker made with Jodhpur stone of size 200 mm width x 150 mm depth x 900mm height size with top oval shaped, engraved with letters 'LT cable', letters painted with approved colour, embedded in ground including necessary excavation and earthwork all as specified and directed.

S&F bus bar chamber cubical inclined top out door type made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet of size 450mm x 300mm x 200 mm including aluminum busbar of capacity 200 Amps for each phase and 100 amps for neutral for incoming and out going. The panel shall be suitable for 415 volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase 4 wire system all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth work, PCC work and MS work for legs / holding of chamber shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing sheet metal enclosure with powder coated Vertical TPN DB double door suitable for fixing 100 amp MCCB, IP 45 protection4 way insulated busbar assembly rating 200 Amps including MCCB 4 pole, 415 V, 100 A, 16 kA - 01 No complete all as specified and directed. Make : IndoAsian / Legrand/ ABB.

M&L as in repairs mild steel work in framed work such as grills, gates, framed guard bars, gratings, ladders, cable tray, fencing etc, with end of bars soldered / welded and or riveted or forged into spikes and similar work confirming to Fe 290 E -165 incl two coats of mettalic paint over a coat of mettalic primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repairs on load change over switch of capacity 100 Amp 415 volts 50 Hz for perimeter light including fixing in angle iron frame and with and incl two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- MS works shall be measured and paid separatly

M&L boring of road crossing of size 80mm bore at a depth not less than 1.00 metre by using machinery / equipments for passing pipes / cables etc. complete without damaging the surface including removing excavated soil to a distance n exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Location of boring holes shall be decided by the Engr-in-Charge as per requirement, nothing extra shall be payable on account of variation in length of crossing of road etc. (ii) During boring soil strata may be changed, hence nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor for boring of holes through different strata/different type of soil. Tenderer is hereby advised to keep in mind this aspect while quoting his rates.

Supply, install and erect as in repairs, in true vertical position (or to be fixed in an inclined position as strut pole) steel tubular swaged welded pole complete with MS base plate of 6 mm thick of size 300mm x 300mm, finial taper plug, pole cap, bolts, nuts and washers and screwed, pole made out of ERW MS tubing conforming to IS-2713 (Part II),1980 type 410-SP-31, 9 meters long L.T pole including drilling of holes of required size and Nos for fixing of cross arms, painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of aluminium paint on exposed surfaces and two coats of black bituminous paint on portion embeded in concrete, painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) PCC for foundation and coping shall be measured and paid for seaparately. (ii) Taking out existing pole includes the cost of excavation, dismantling of PCC in foundation / around pole and PCC as in coping

Supplying and laying as in repairs 50mm bore GI tubing light grade incl all accessories for pssing of cables for mechanical proctection, laid under Plinth / Floors/ Paths Culverts or fixed on wall or concealed in wall / floor or along poles or as street light poles or as street light mounting bracket with complete accessories such as bends / sockets / reducers / saddles incl necessary threading / drilling works all as specified and directed. Note:- Earthwork, wherever required, shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply and fixing as in repairs Stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 incl GI Adjustable Stay Rod of 20 mm Dia, GI Stay wire of size 7/4 mm incl stay clamps, loop type insulator, excavation in any strata and PCC 1:3:6 concrete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Unit rate of this item includes the cost of earthwork, loop type insulator, PCC and stay wire. (ii) Taking out stay assembly includes dismantling of PCC, the cost thereof also included in unit quoted rate

S&F straight through cable joint kit by using M-seal Kastex cable accessories based on cast resin system ie (electrical insulation, mechanical protection and moisture imperviousness to the joint) for LV PVC / XLPE cable up to 35 sq mm x 3.5 / 4 core 1100 volt grade at site (technical / domestic area) complete all as specified and directed. Make: Raychem / Denson/ M-seal.
