Petroling and attending day to day complaints and maint/repairs to street light/security light fittings/Garden light/ Post top lantern light fitting of any type and capacity fixed at any height by replacing unserviceable parts of the fittings such as lamps. tubes, etc and connecting to main to make the fitting serviceable including cleaning of perpex cover, checking loose connections, power supply problem, etc. detecting and repair of under ground cable fault etc as and when required round the clock complete all as directed at site on daily complaint basis. Note: 1. Due to security point of veiw one electrician with helper shall be present daily round the clock with required T&P, spares and transport for attending unserviceable security/street light complaints received from users. The Contractor will ensure attendance of electrician and helper before JE E/M and the same will be produce before Engineer-in-Charge for payment. Note 2. Repair/replacement of spares/loose connection of particular fittings shall be measured and paid as one job for one day irrespective of any numbers of complaints attended in a particular day. 3. Street light complaints should be attended and rectified within the same day failing which recovery at double the rate quoted by contrator against this item shall be affected from his becoming due's

Relaying only of serviceable bricks/PCC slab cover obtained from item No 10.00 here-in-before for cable protection cover laid width wise along length of cable complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, install and erect in true vertical position (or to be fixed in an inclined position as strut pole) steel tubular swaged poles complete with MS base plate of 6 mm thick of size 300 mm x 300 mm, finial taper plug, pole cap, bolts, nuts and washers and screwed pole made out of FRW MS tubing conforming to IS-2713 (Part-II) 1980 type 410-SP-31 ( 9 meters long ) pole including drilling of holes of required size and Nos for fixing of cross arms, painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of aluminium paint for exposed surfaces and two coats of black bituminous paint for portion embeded in concrete, incl taking down carefully old deterioiated RCC/steel pole etc complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE: cable fault shall be located with use of cable fault locator machine as and when required with minimum possible time to reduce the downtime. If fault is not attended/located within 24 hours, recovery will be made at Rs 4000.00/Day from the date of such occurance.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of LT feeder pillar, compartmentalised design of sie not less than 70 x 70 x 25 cm suitable for 440 volts 3 phase 4 wire system made out of 2.5mnm CRCA sheet powder coated having gasketed front two hinged doors with locking arrangement including bottom and top detachable gland plate complete with suitable size of rust proof nuts, bolts and washers, etc. with mounted accessories including the following components fixed in repairs,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Cutting of tree branches of any girth along HT/ LT OH lines & street light pole at a distance not less than 2 meter on either side of the pole cleaning of bushes and shrubes of any type along entire RM of poles. Cleaning /prunning should be carried out as and when required during entire running period of contract or as and when directed by Engineer-in-Charge. A fine of one time quated rate per running meter will be deducted if the over growth is found along the pole all as directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Cleaning of under growth at substation . Cleaning should be carried out as & when required or when directed by Engr- in-Charge. Undergrowth at any point of time should not be more than 3 to 4 cm. A fine of Rs 1000.00 per month per substation will be deducted if undergrowth found grown beyond permissible height complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead using 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required including taking down old wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead using 25 x 4mm galvanised steel strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation, etc. as required including porcelain insulator saddle at the spacing nort exceeding 400mm including taking down old strip complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead using 32 x 6mm galvanised steel strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation, etc. as required including porcelain insulator saddle at the spacing nort exceeding 400mm including taking down old strip complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to and including 4 mm dia galvanised earth lead wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised standard iron or steel all as specified or indicated in electrical plate no 3 of MES Part-I, including testing on completion including the material and labour of the following :-

(a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil.

(b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1.

(c) Precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg/Sqm.

(d) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore medium grade and copper lugs etc all as specified.

(e) 15 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe 5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering.

(f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal.

(g) Testing of earthing.

Note : (a) On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) The contractor shall quote his rate considering taking down cost of existing unserviceable earthing.

Note: (1) The repair has to carried out as and when required basis and accordingly site will be available in piecemeal wise and as directed by Enginer-in-Charge in the Air Force station area
