Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep, in any type of soil including forming sides and bottom surfaces to required level / slope / gradients etc for taking down/laying of the pipe lines complete all as specified and directed at site. Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth etc shall be made good by the contractor to match with the existing surfaces without any extra cost).

Returning, filling in, excavated soil in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down old existing steel tubing and connections of any description/ grade and in any position in trenches/under floors / on walls etc including all fittings/accessories and fixtures such as bends, union, elbow socket etc, all as directed and specified for the following sizes :- (a) 80 mm bore

Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from supply net work. dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity and in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 80/50mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well (approximately 50 mtr depth of pump set from GL) complete and lowering after repair with all accessories including testing all as specified and directed. NOTE: 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing motor/pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Any items like cable, column pipe, clamps shall be paid separately. 2 . Any repair to submersible pump & spares etc shall be paid and measured separately under relevant item in this schedule

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump/motor of any description of Capacity up to 20 HP for repairing /overhauling, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts (To be paid separately) including minor parts such as washer, 'O' Rings, nut bolts and any machining work required re-threading of holes, lock nut etc required for smooth functioning of pump motor and reassembling the pump and motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, complete all as directed. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding.

Disconnecting and taking out /lifiting out existing non-functional 2/3 HP capacity submersible/Mono-block centrifugal/Chiloronem plant motor, set of any description and in any position, dismantling and strip opening of pumps for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling / greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and re-assembling the pump, fixing/lowering, in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / non-functional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) The rates for above items are deemed to include for transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop replacement of necessary unserviceable screws/nuts /bots/washers/ packing etc. (iii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for re- winding. (iv) Turning/ polishing of the rotor shaft shall be measured and paid seperately
