S&F 40mm thick 2nd class hardwood planed one side with tongued and grooved joints and fixed with nails as in floors, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F 20mm thick 2nd class hardwood planed one side with butt joints as in shelves of cupboards, racks and pelmets, eaves board and skirting work fixed with nails, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L 15mm thick 2nd class soft wood planed one side & edges tongued and grooved or rebated with butt joints as in wall panelling and similar work fixed with nails, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling timber scantling 40 Sqcm & over in section in any position as in unframed work, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for second class HW scantlings clean sawn in timber fixed work, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparing surfaces of wood and wood based materials, new or old of any description and girth, not otherwise described and treated with one coat of creosote oil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated wood or wood based surfaces of any description, exceeding 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for french polishing on surfaces of any description width or girth including cleaning and preparing the surfaces incl a coat of wood filler on old works with one or more coats, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for sand filling under floors or in foundations spreading and levelling in layers not exc. 25 cm thick including watering and consolidation, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for hardcore of guage not exc. 63mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface of broken stone or boulders, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 75 mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:6) for laying floor finishes, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 10mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of mortar (1:3) for vertical surface finishes, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for providing non-skid ceramic joint free tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exc. 0.11 but not exc. 0.18 Sqm as in floor set and joint in cement slurry, jointed & pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface of the tile complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 15 above, but as in skirting in lieu of floor.
