Improvements to the road from Mohanur Rasipuram road to Chinnapallamparai

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201.

Picking BT Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000m as per Technical spceification clause 301.4

Excavation in soil using Hydraulic Excavator and Tippers with disposal upto 1000m Excavation for road work with hydraulsic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cuting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirments of lines, grades and cross- sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.50 m and lead upto 1000m as per technical specification clause 302.3

Construction of embankment with Material obtained from Road way cutting Construction of Embankment with approved materials deposited at site from road way cuting and excavation from Drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per MORD Technical specifiation clause 301.5 (Filling with cut Earth)

Construciton of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads transporting to site, spreading grading to required slope and compacted to meet reaquirement of table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per technical specifation clause 303.1(using borrow pit earth)

Gravel shoulder - Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from road way cutting and excavation from drain and foundatoin of other structures graded and compacted to meet reauirement of tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per technical specification clause 301.5 (Gravel shoulder)

Wet Mix Macadam - Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone agreegate to wet mix macadam spcification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mixer (pug mill) etc.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with Primer cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 502.

Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying bituminous Macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto lead of 1000m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical specification clause. 504.

Bituminous Concrete Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading,premixed with bituminous binder @5.4 to 5.6 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT & H speciications clause 507 complete in all respects

Routine Maintenance after completion of work the road sufrace and shoulder to be maintained in proper condition to make them free from excessive edge drop offs, roughness, scouring and pot holes and cleaning of surface drain including culverts for frre flow of water. Relettering name boards and K.M & H.M stone and other maintenance operation required to keep the road traffic worthly at all the time for the maintenance period for the following years. As per General condition of contract para 32.2.2
