Cleaning of area, digging of pit of size 0.6x0.6x0.6m in any type of soil for trees, removal of soil, weeds, roots etc, refilling pit with prepared manure soil (ratio 1 manure plus 3 good earth by vol.) , including preparation of manure soil, mixing of soil to improve nutrients as required and inside coat of Antitermite Chemical in pit, flooding with water , dressing including removal of rubbish & surplus earth to a distance exc. 50m & n.exc. 250m and depositing where directed, stacking and planting in full and final location as directed by Engineer-in-Change . Note: (i) Rate of plants shall be paid separately under item No 1.2 below. (ii) ATT chemical, manure, fertilizer, medicines as required is included in quoted rate.

Supply only following trees at site ( Height of trees shall be measured from ground level):-

Ashoka (Height more than 1.20m with proportional girth and spiked stakes)

Neel Mohar (Height more than 1.20m with proportional girth and spiked stakes)

Tabebuia Rosea-Avenue Trees (Height more than 1.20m with proportional girth and spiked stakes)

Fiddlewood (Height more than 1.20m with proportional girth and spiked stakes)

Neem (Height more than 1.20m with proportional girth and spiked stakes)

HEDGES

Cleaning of area, digging of trench of size 0.5mx0.5m in any type of soil for Hedges, removal of soil, weeds, roots etc, refilling pit with prepared manure soil (ratio 1 manure plus 3 good earth by vol.) , including preparation of manure soil, mixing of soil to improve nutrients as required and inside coat of Antitermite Chemical in trenches, flooding with water , dressing including removal of rubbish & surplus earth if any with all leads & lifts , stacking and planting in full and final location (4 to 5 plants per meter) as directed by Engineer-in-Change . Note: (i) Rate of Hedge Plant shall be paid separately under item No 2.2 below. (ii) ATT chemical, manure, fertilizer, medicines as required is included in quoted rate.

Supply only following Hedge Plant at site ( Height of plants shall be measured from ground level):-

Golden duranta (Minimum height 25 cm)

Lawn (Grassing)

Supply and plantation of Bermuda grass by transplanting method Note: Following activities/works to be carried out at site for plantation of grass:- (i) Ploughing of whole site in ordinary soil upto a depth of 30 cm and removing all unwanted materials such as stones, weeds, tree roots etc which are not suitable for healthy growth of grass. (ii) Dressing and levelling of soil to a required gradient and slope after loosening of soil (iii) Mixing & spreading of good earth, manure (Ratio 4:1) and fertilizer as required and directed. (iv) Fine dressing the ground to required slope and gradient towards the manhole. (v) Grassing with specified grass including watering until establishment of the lawn. (vi) Final levelling by spreading sand & good earth mixture,manuring, medicine as & when directed. (vii) ATT chemical, manure, fertilizer, medicines as required is included in quoted rate.

Irrigation System

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5m depth for laying of pipes etc or n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth for manholes etc and getting out in soft and loose soil complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick of good earth complete all as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as directed.

Supply and Laying of CPVC pipes confirming to IS:15778 SDR 11 of 32mm dia with CPVC SDR 11 Plain fittings in trenches complete all as directed. Note:- One step CPVC yellow solvent cement shall be used for joining pipes and fittings. Make: Finolex/Dutron/SFMC/Astral

Supply and fixing Special fitting of CPVC SDR 11 control valve (Special fitting means CPVC Brass fitting) 32mm dia complete all as directed. Make: Finolex/Dutron/SFMC/Astral

Supply and fixing of double action 32 mm dia Air release valve with necessary fitting at required places, complete all as directed. Make: Jain Irridation System or equivalent

Supply and fixing of 10" valve box with necessary fitting at required places at site, complete all as directed. Make: Jain Irridation System or equivalent

Supply, installation, testing and comissioning of KDH852 3 phase, 5 HP Monoblock pump 2.5" S X 2" D of total head 44 mtr, Discharge upto 4.5 lps with necessary fitting at required places at site, complete all as directed. Make: Kirloskar/KSP/Crompton

Supply, Installation, testing and comissioning of DOL Startar of 3 phase suitable for above mentioned pump, complete all as directed. Make: Havells/crompton/Legrand/

MAINTENANCE

Maintenance of all Hedges and grass etc from date of completion of phase-I to ensure healing, upkeeping/watering of plants, pour manure, carrying periodical tilling and using pesticides, treaming shrubs plants and cutting grass, removing unwanted grass and plants from work site. Note: (a) During the period any plant, grass etc is found dead, not true to name or size as specified or not in satisfactory growth, the same of approved size and shape shall be replaced by contractor without any extra cost. (b) Supply and application of manure, good earth, sand, ATT chemical, pesticide, fertilizer, cartage etc as required during maintenance period is included in quoted rate.

Maintenance of all trees from date of completion of phase-I to ensure healing, upkeeping/watering of plants, pour manure, carrying periodical tilling and using pesticides, treaming trees, pour manure, carryout periodical tilling and using pesticides, removing unwanted grass and plants from work site. Note: (a) During the period any tree is found dead, not true to name or size as specified or not in satisfactory growth, the same of approved size and shape shall be replaced by contractor without any extra cost. (b) Supply and application of manure, good earth, sand, ATT chemical, pesticide, fertilizer, cartage etc as required during maintenance period is included in quoted rate.
