Light jungles clearing light jungles & trees up to 15cm. girth including cutting, uprooting roots and stumps, removing them from the site of the work etc. complete as directed. (When 30% of the area is covered by shrubs, trees etc.)

Earth work in embankment by Truck carriage in ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots and vegetation and filling in uniform layer not exceeding 22 cm thick including plaughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debris, breaking clods up to 2.5 cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed & compacted on account of shrinkage). For initial lead beyond 6 km & up to 8 km and for all lifts.

Compacting original ground supporting embankment loosening, leveling & compacting to original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in tables 300.1 & 300.2 for embankment construction as per technical specification clause 301.4.1

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary etc. complete as directed. For ordinary soil.

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pagging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts.

Collection & supply of sand gravel from approved quarry containing 60% sand and 40% gravel free from disintegrated and flaky pieces of vegetation and other deleterious matters , adherent coating etc. including stacking in suitable stacks at quarry site and payment of forest royalty etc. complete as directed.

Labour charge for laying of soiling stone, brick bats, broken stone matels, sand gravel etc. on approach road including ramming, dressing the seat & local carriage of materials upto a distance of 60m complete as directed.

Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section, section / slope including removing the soil at a safe distance.

Earthwork in excavation in foundation of filter drains in all kinds of soil to the designed section and level along the river bank, slope including depositing the spirits in safe distance and with all leads and lifts complete as directed.

Collection of brick bats 10-40 mm size to work site including loading unloading transportation and stacking in measurable stacks including paying sale tax and compensation if any etc. complete as directed.

Local carriage of boulders, matel, gravel, sand etc from the approachable site beyond 150 m and up-to 3.00 KM from the won site including loading from stack and unloading at work site with 10 ton capacity truck supplying P.O.L. etc. complete as directed.

Supply of Galvanize Wire netting sheet made of 8G wire of 152 mm square mesh in sheet overall size 2.57 x 1.66m with longitudinal wire as 152 mm centre and 76mm projection of each wire on all side beyond the size of 2.42 x 1.51m having knots of size 12G wire at every joint including unloading and stacking properly complete as directed.
