SCHEDULE A BOQ
Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not other wise provided for all as directed
S&F in repairs rolled Mild Steel work as in cover for SW tank including cleats, brackets, etc.,and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.
M&L Welded steel wire fabric ,size 25mmx25mmx4mm thick, cut to length,bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples complete to wood or steel members not excceding 4Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed.
M & L two coats of painting on steel and iron surfaces over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of new steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
Demolition of un-reinforced Cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness complete all as specified and directed.
M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping including necessary form work, finished fair and even without using extra cement including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.
M&L 40mm thick PCC 1:2:4, type B1(using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring finished even and smooth with using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
M&L preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of antifungal paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L 35mm thick second class hard wood boarding to be placed in watch tower as in floor plank one side fixed with nails (with butt joints) with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete including dismantling of existing one complete all as specified and as directed .
M&L Preparation of old steel surface of Watch Towers of height 10 to 15 mtr of any description over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed
Note for item No 10 & 11 :- (i) Watch tower for repair/ maint are scattered in a periphery of 4-5 KM distance and height of watch tower is upto 15 mtr.
(ii) Due to security reason towers will be handed over for repair/ maint work in phase manner. No compensation or extra claim shall be admissible due to loss of manhours.
(iii) The unit rate quoted for this item is deemed to include for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm lying around approaches, cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine around 3 m from plinth protection and removing the grass waste to outside MD land.
(iv) Necessary boom lift/ scaffolding required for working upto 15 mtr height from natural ground level will be arranged by the contractor and cost for the same shall deem to be included in the unit quoted rate.
(v) Necessary safety arrangement like safety belts,ropes,helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 15 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be inclusive in unit quoted rate quoted.
M&L Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted, bolted or welded attachment. (Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A including dismantling of existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass not exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.
M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.
M&L 100mm thick, Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates), as in hardstanding including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including demolition of existing concrete and removal of debris to outside MD land to a distance exc 1.5 km but not exceeding 5.0 km complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The concrete shall be laid in alternate bays at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length in each bay and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.
M&L 100 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in sub base , filling and mass concrete or as in receiving tiles/ surface channels and drains etc including demolition of existing cocrete complete all as specified and directed.
M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cmx30cmx25mm thick machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in floors and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) including demolition of existing tile complete all as specified and directed. Note : The manufacturer's test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority.
M&L Preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots etc and applying one coat of cement based paint complete all as specified and directed.
Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, chajja, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.
Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weather proof paint complete all as specified and as directed.
Complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description such as distempering work, internal emulsion etc from internal surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/ grinder, then applying wall care putty on internal surfaces of walls/ceilings as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering and after filling the putty apply two coats of plastic emulsion over a coat of primer complete all specificed and as directed. Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the Engineer-in-Charge before applying further surface finishes. Please note that the further surface finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the Engineer-in-Charge .
M&L Preparation of old steel painted surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed .
Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and Material and labour for new Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 450 x 300 mm x 7/8 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles on vertical surface such as dado including 10mm thick, cement mortar( 1:3) backing coat complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing rubbish off the premises and Joint free Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile of size exc 0.09 Sqm but n exc 0.18 Sqm in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match incuding screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as directed.
Note for item No 28 & 29 :- The manufacturer's test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.
Supply and fixing 4mm thick figured glass pin head type and glazing with oil putty or wooden beads in squares n. exc. 0.50 Sqmtr each pane including Hacking out old borken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads complete all as specified and directed.
S&F Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.4mm fixed to existing members including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the sides with PCC 1:3:6, type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates)complete all as specified and directed. Note : The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing of debris outside of MD land

M&L Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel over 10 cm width or girth, not other wise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.
Note for item No 39 to 40 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.
(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples there of and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.
(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.
(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)
(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE
(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.
(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.
(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.
Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and directed.Note: Serviceable tiles shall be stacked separately for reuse.
M&L Fly ash Brick work using modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
Description all as per Sl item No 50 here in before but except bricks. Note: Serviceable bricks obtained from Sl item No 49 to be used.
M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.
M&L Grouting the joints of flooring/wall tiles having joints upto 5 mm width, and upto 10mm depth using white cement or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and finishing including all surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, wax, oil, laitance curing compounds and all other contaminates likely to prevent the adhesive bonding and after finishing of grouting then removing of excess grout from the joints, cleaning of tiles and joints surface with in 30 min using sponge-board dampened in clean water, finally, cleaning the entire surface using clean cloth, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge.
M&L Renewing cement concrete tiles in patches, area n exc 5 sqm including removing and cleaning old tiles, preparing beds and laying or setting, jointing and pointing new or old tiles complete all as directed. Note : The rate included for cutting out broken tiles, removing and cleaning loose tiles, preparing bed removing rubbish, brooming and replacing old with new tiles to match, complete with all cuttings etc, that may be required. New tiles required is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. The unit rate is also including necessary bedding in cement mortor in CM(1:4) not exceeding 15mm thick.
M&L 75mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-1 (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), laid in 1:20 slope as in plinth protection/path including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including demolition of existing damaged concrete complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.
