Sub-Head : Dismantling and Demolishing

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material withinpermises of Sanchar bhawan including all lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within permises of Sanchar bhawan including all lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

In cement mortar

Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within permises of Sanchar bhawan including all lead & lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

Of area 3 sq. metres and below

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within permises of Sanchar bhawan including all lead & lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. a) For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Dismantling stone slab flooring laid in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within Sanchar Bhawan permises including all leads and lifts complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of flushing cistern of all types (C.I./PVC/Vitreous China) including stacking of useful materials with in the basement civil store and disposal of unserviceable materials within sanchar Bhawan Permises including all leads and lifts.

Dismantling aluminium/ Gypsum partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in Sanchar Bhawan permises including all leads and lifts complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling existing work station having outer dimension upto 3980mm (W) x 800mm (D) x 1500mm (H) each, made of M.S frame and like and prelaminated board etc. and dumping dismantled work stations with in Sanchar Bhawan permises including all leads and lifts complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disposal of moorum/ building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 10 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (a)Note - Item to be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement/plying of load carriying motor vehicle of 3.5 cum or more.

Dismantling ceiling steel frame work by mechanical means, Filling ceiling depressions / holes with CC 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement:1.5 Coarse Sand: 3 Geaded stone aggregate 10 mm size), Plastering with CM 1:3 (1 Cement: 3 Fine sand) making all the ceiling level including all arrangement of scafoldings , all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Credit for taking away dismantled material received from the wood work like wooden doors, windows,shutters and frames etc. that will become property of the contractor complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Credit for taking away of GI pipe, SCI pipe and fitting, CCI pipes and fittings, steel doors & windows, ventilators, grills of various dia and length i/c stacking within 50m lead and like received from dismantling . The material received shall be the property of the contractor after dismantling duly weighed/measured before removing from the site in the presence of Engineer-In-Charge or his authorisedrepresentive all complete.

Credit for aluminium sections, snap beading etc. received from dismantling which shall be the property of contractor.

Credit for bricks received from dismantling which shall be the property of contractor.
