Sch 'A' Sec-XXI (Miscellaneous Items)Note : This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col. 5 siginifies this fact only.
Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any , transportation ,taxes,etc. for area filling / area development upto MGL level including raising of original ground level upto MGL by approved earth and including spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer ,watering , compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished to required size and shape etc. Notes: (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from out side MOD land of any lead, at his own own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioniong of AHRI certified Water Cooled Chiller Unit to maintain the inside temparature 10 ̊C to 25 ̊C with relative humidity 50±5% inside explosive storage magazines of size 12M(W) X 18M (L) comprising of following :- (a) Hermetic/semi hermetic sealed scroll compressor of capacity not less than 51 TR x 03 Nos (50% of full load capacity- 02 Nos units working and 01 No as Standby). Notes:- (i) The chiller performance test report on AHRI condition shall be submitted before dispatch / approval (ii) All necessary civil works for foundation etc. deemed to be included in unit rate quoted all as per manufacturer's instructions/specifications. (b) FRP cooling tower forced/ induced draft top/ cross flow type suitable for not less than 2 x 51 Ton AC plant with FRP body and base, water spray headers, cooling tower fins, fan with motor, supporting base frames, overflow with drain, connection with valve etc complete all as specified and as directed.

(c) Monblock Centrifugal type condenser water pumps (discharge capacity & head as per friction loss calculations to be carried out by the contractor) for each condenser unit complete with suitable squirrel cage induction motor EES series (Energy Efficient) mono block centrifugal water pumpset of standard IEC 60034-30:2008 and IS 12615:2011, for operation at 415V 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply, base plate, electric starter with over load protection and single phasing protection device (one pump for each condensing unit all as specified) (d) Monblock Centrifugal type chilled water pumps (discharge capacity & head as per friction loss calculations to be carried out by the contractor) for each chiller duly insulated complete with squirrel cage induction motor EES series (Energy Efficient) mono block centrifugal water pumpset of standard IEC 60034-30:2008 and IS 12615:2011,for operating at 415 Volts 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply, base plate, electric starter with overload protection, single phasing preventer to match the capacity of compressor (one pump for each chiller as specified). (e) Chilled water piping made out of mild steel heavy grade pipes (IS-1293) with its insulation of suitable diameter including all fittings, butterfly valves, non-return valves, Y type/ dashpot strainers, specials as specified etc. and laid to floor/fixed to wall or in ducts for interconnection between water chiller, chilled water pumps and various AHUs installed in the rooms complete all as specified. Velocity in pipe shall not exceed 1.5 meter / second. (f) Condenser water piping made out of galvanized iron medium grade pipes of diffrent size with all fittings, non-return valve, Y type/ pot strainer and butterfly valves etc. for interconnecting cooling tower condenser, cooling water pumps for circulation of condenser water. Velocity in pipe shall not exceed 1.5 meter / second.
Item No 21.94 Cont.. (g) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of MS expansion tank of approx capacity 500 litre made out of 5 mm thick MS sheet complete with welding work and insulated with 75 mm thick quality thermo coal, cement sand plaster 15 mm thick with CM 1:3 over chicken wire mesh, painting etc, all complete as per tender specification with inlet valve, float assembly, overflow drain connection with valve and flow indicator etc. (h) Weather making unit suitable for min 51 TR capacity chiller for each AHU room (CFM as per design to be done by the Contractor) with independent control and centralized control in plant/room each comprising the following all as specified (Note: AHUs and ducting of plant shall be designed to achieve inside design conditions required to maintain different parameters):- (i) Modular AHU panels with GI sheet of 0.60 mm thick for both inner and outer casing with 25 mm PUF insulation sandwiched in between. The outer panel have pre-coating for corrosion resistance as also to provide proper finish. (ii) Blower section with forward/ backward curved centrifugal fan with TEFC motor (IP-55 and class F insulation) . (iii) Drain section with 1.2 mm SS drain pan including drain water pipe duly insulated. (iv) Filter section with pre-filter and micro filter. (v) Coil section with 6/8/10/12 row chilled water coil as per design to be done by contractor with inlet and outlet thermometer. (vi) Vibration isolation pads, belts etc all complete. (vii) Humidifier kit complete with controls.
Item No 21.94 Cont.. (viii) Electrical Controls Panels with starter for Blower Motor, Strip heater, Humidifier with complete controls including thermostat, Humidistat, Proportionate Thermostat. (ix) Strip heaters for winter heating /reheating coil section with stepped up contacts heating thermostats as per design by the contractor etc. (x) Wall dry and web bulb thermometer in AHU rooms. (xi) Sling psychrometer- 02 Nos, Anemometer -01 No (j) Ducting (i) Supply & Installation PGI sheet with class VII zinc, Premium, Fusible link fire damper (1 for each AHU) supply air/return air ducting with supporting/ hanging arrangement all as specified. (ii) Necessary connection for the supply and return air duct with damper and support . (iii) Supply and erection of thermal insulation of ducting with 25 mm thick fibre glass (24 kg/m3) factory laminated with aluminium foil, complete with seal at the joints and nylon box strapping etc complete all as specified and as directed. (iv) Supply and erection of acoustic insulation initial 6 mtr of ducting with 12mm fiberglass rigid board (48 Kg/m3), finished with 32G perforated Aluminum sheet with bolts/nuts/washers of GI etc complete all as specified and as directed. (v) Supply and erection of all weather thermal insulation of ducting (where ever duct is exposed to outside weather) with 75m thick EPS (20 Kg/m3) tied using CPRX compound and chicken wire mesh, sand cement plastering and finally finished with 3 coats of synthetic paint of approved color and shade all complete as per tender specification. (vi) Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of powder coated Aluminium supply and return air grills, diffusers, dampers, fresh air grills, laminar flow terminals, etc with nuts/bolts/screws/washers etc complete all as specified and as directed.
Item No 21.94 Cont.. Note :- Necessary MS supporting structure for passing the supply and return air ducting over proposed road/hard standing aroung AC Mag is deemed to be included in unit rate of ducting. The design of supporting structure should be prepared by the contractor and got it approved from CE SZ before execution at site. (k) Controls comprising of (one set for each unit):- (i) Pilot duty solenoid valves. (ii) Thermostatic expansion. (iii) Liquid line strainer (iv) water flow switches (v) Anti freeze thermostat (vi) capacity control thermostat (vii) 3 Way motorised driven thermostat. (viii) Humidistat and thermostat. (l) RCC/PCC foundation of chiller units, pumps, AHUs, cooling towers cutting of walls and floors wherever required and making good thereafter. (m) Supply and laying in trenches/ducts/fixing walls/ floors etc and jointing PVC insulated armored LT cable 1100 volts grade of suitable sizes as required for electrical connection between electric panels and all equipments such as compressor motor, cooling tower motor, pumps and all air handling units. Power cable for AHUs will be taken from AC plant room panel with suitable fixing arrangement including all extra minor work like as earthwork, cable tray etc..
Item No 21.94 Cont.. Module No 7 No of Modules 1 (MIMIC PANEL) Providing, installing, testing and commissioning of remote operation and back indication control console of approved design with phenolic laminated top of 3 mm thick necessary for the following:- (a) "ON-OFF" control of all motors of pumps, cooling towers, AHU etc. (b) Back indication of operation of all motors. (c) Indications of the operation of each of the following controls in chilling units: (i) HP cut-out (ii) LP cut-out (iii) Oil Failure (iv) Condenser water line flow switch (v) Anti freeze thermostat (vi) Chilled water line flow switch This module will be mimic module showing the status of all HVAC equipments in a schematic Plan. Electrically insulated rubber matting 3/8 inches 3 feet wide for 1100 volts grade of suitable length for complete switch Board. Note for item No. 1.(n) - {MCC Panel Board} :- The normal current rating and breaking capacity of all LT switchgears will be designed keeping in view the load requirements as per normal engineering practice for ensuring adequate protection
Item No 21.94 Cont.. (r) Two Nos of earthing as per SSR plate No 3 for all electrical motors in the plant room including all electrical items connected with aluminium strip 25mm x 3mm size complete upto each equipment. (s) Two Nos of earthing as per SSR plate No 3 for each AHU units including all electrical items connected with aluminium strip 25mm x 3mm size complete up to AHU. (t) Supply and install makeup water tank PVC double layer of 1x 5000 Ltrs capacity with float valve 25mm, GI medium grade 25mm overflow pipe, wash out pipe with 25 mm gate valve including making inlet & outlet connection complete. Pipe upto these tanks shall be provided by the deptt. Tank shall be provided on 2.0 mtr RCC staging near cooling tower. Note: Design of staging shall be got approved by GE before execution. Note for item No 21.94. 1. AC plant room (as marked on site plan) and AHUs are shown on the Drg. Inside design conditions required are shown in Appendix. The following items are to be designed by the contractor and details as per Appx shall be submitted for approval with supporting details and technical literature to the Accepting Officer within one month of acceptance of tender:- a. Heat Load Calculation for all seasond (Summer, Monsoon & Winter). b. Design of supply and return air ducts including provision of automatic fire dampersat with fusible links at convenient places as per Para 38 of STEC Pamphlet No 5. c. Schematic diagram and details of all equipment, cable, panel, control system, pipe lines incl conrol valves. d. Design and details of Head of condenser pump, chilled water pump, AHUs, Cooling Towers, Strip heaters for preheat and reheat. and dehumidifier.
Item No 21.94 Cont.. e. Electrical Panel Design. f. Layout of AC Plant Room. g. All items required for complete installation of AC plant to achieve design conditions shall be deemed to be included in this item. 2. All drawing & design including necessary calcutations as enumerated in point Nos 1.(a) to 1.(g) above are to be vetted form respective branch of any IIT/NIT and got appoved by Accepting Officer before execution 3. Phase I Test for 24 Hrs shall be conducted by the Officer to be detailed by Accepting officer before Phase I completion. Oil & gas shall be provided by the contractor till completion of all Phase -II tests . Phase II test will be conducted in Summer/Winter/ Mansoon season for 72 Hrs continuously. All facilities/ testing equipments including artificial load for testing will be provided by the Contractor. 4.
