| 1.01 | Repair/Replacement of damaged components of 7.2 cusecs discharge x 94.7 mtr. Head Split Casing HC Pump of unit No. 1, 3 and 4 by way of dismantling of the pumping units by removing the upper half casing after opening the studs, nuts and bolts and other accessories and subsequently extracting out the rotating assembly from the lower casing and thereafter clearing the silt/mulba accumulated in the casing and impeller section followed by its carriage to workshop for repair and servicing work. Dismantling the different parts of the rotating assembly using specialized tools and tackles subsequently carrying out repair work of shaft’s by way of rebuilding at the worn out portions by welding with good quality welding electrodes and thereafter machining to size after straightening the shaft on hydraulic press. Rebuilding of damaged impeller’s of unit No-1,3 and 4 at affected places by are welding/gas welding with bronze electrodes of standard ISI make, thereby depositing the layer on damaged/worn out portion of the impeller. Being heavy section the impeller should be pre-heated and then cooled down at room temp. The process should be repeated till the damaged portions are brought to its original shape and size. Machining of the same on lathe machine and grinding to give it correct shape and size and to achieve static and dynamic balancing. Cleaning/removal of greasy material etc. on all the parts viz bush, sleeve, logging rings, aligner, grooved ring, check nuts, shaft etc. with organic solvent/emery paper.P/F of new nuts and bolts 16 no’s for pump no 1, 12 no bolts for pump no 3, 13 no bolts for pump no. 4, in lieu of damaged bolts, gland bolts 6 no’s instead of damaged gland bolts. P/F of new pressure gauges of required specification in place of old damaged one. Coupling of the pump with the prime mover with nuts bolts and bushes after making proper alignment and testing the unit on full load. Re-threading as per check nut size and making of key ways with keys as per requirement. Repair/Replacement of neck rings (032), Water thrower (463), Bearing Thrust End (010), Bearing Coupling End (007), SS sleeves sleeve nuts, Split Joint Gasket, Fasteners, stainless steel bushes, Stuffing box, check nuts. Fitting of new ball bearing’s 6314 06 No’s to driving and non-driving ends after repairs to the bearing housings by way of fabrication and fitting of sleeves. The job includes fabrication and fitting of coupling bolts along with bushes, pump casing studs fabricated to the desired specifications as per sample in lieu of damaged/worn out one's. Thereafter reassembling of all the components along with checking the dynamic and static balancing of the assembly. Carriage back of the complete assembly to the site and fitment after greasing the bearings at both ends and other parts and p/f of graphite gland packing 19 mm/16mm diameter and oil paper gasket of the same size as per sample and closing the top cover. The job includes replacement of ball valves 1/2 inch ,pressure gauge’s union and nipple set etc. (in lieu of old worn out one) on the suction and delivery manifold. Coupling of the pumps with the prime mover with nuts and bolts and testing the unit on full load. The job includes cost of material, labour charges, hire charges of tools and tackles, to and fro carriage charges etc. The job also includes painting of pumps by applying a coat of Red Oxide primer and two coats of super enamel (blue). | 1.02 | Repair / maintenance / servicing of 400HP/300KW GEC make 3 phase induction motor 3 no’s installed / fitted inside pump house at Raya lift irrigation station by way of disconnecting of power connections thereafter dismantling the motor from the base frame as well as decoupling it from the pump. Shifting of motors from LIS Raya to workshop with the help of mechanical transport and unloading the same at workshop carefully with the help of crane. Dismantling the motor covers and thereafter cleaning the stator and rotor first with the help of blower to remove dirt and dust and then with cleaning agent CRC – 226 after dismantling of motor. P/F of 02 no new bearing for unit no 3 and 4 in place of old damaged ones. Replacement of damaged coils and wedges for unit no-1,3,4 in place of old damaged ones .P/F of new carbon brushes in place of old worn out one’s for unit no-1,3,4.P/F of new slip ring for unit no 4 in place of old damaged one. Providing and taping with new insulation tape i.e. glass tape / mica tape on all overhanging portion of the coils and also replacing damaged wedges with new wedges. Varnishing of the complete motor i.e. stator and rotor with superior type of Bakelite red / grey varnish. Varnish is to be done with brush by giving two coats till all the grooves / gaps are filled and a uniform layer is formed. Drying out both (Stator and Rotor) under controlled temperature till constant IR value is attained. Assembling of rotor and stator and shifting back to the LIS Raya. Installation of motors on the base frame and coupled with pump, making proper alignment with pump and connecting with all cables properly. Testing of motors on full load.

| 1.03 | Repair /maintenance /servicing to 2No’s Vacuum pumps –motor set (7.5hp ) by way of dismantling of vacuum pump and motor set (7.5hp) catering to unit no. 1 to 6 and subsequently shifting to workshop for repair by way of extracting the rotor from the stator followed by cleaning of casing, rotor etc. With cleaning chemical to remove dust, silt, dirt and carbon etc. Complete 3-phase re-winding of 36 slot stator with same pattern and turns of wiring as per sample. Varnishing of rotor/stator windings with 2 coats of superior quality varnish. Providing/fitting of 2 no. new ball bearings as per sample to DE and NDE in lieu of old damaged/worn out one. Replacement of damaged short-circuited wiring for the motor set. P/F of new gland band for 02 No vacuum pumps in place of old damaged ones and greasing the Vacuum pumps –motor set components. Shifting of the repaired motor to the site and its fitment with vacuum pump.
Replacement of worn-out coupling along with rubber bush in 2 no’s unit by way of replacing defective/worn-out components in place of old/damaged one.
